Ruru watched as Sir Ymir and Lady Odette drifted further away from her until she couldn't see them anymore.
She bit her lip as she was not ready for goodbye. She didn't want to leave Lady Odette's side, even her twin sister would've thought the same.
But Lady Odette had made her choice, and so did she.
She decided to stay and fight whoever wanted to reach her lady.
"Goodbye, Milady. You're like a daydream for me. Being able to serve you feels like a lifelong mission and passion that I've lost. I thought that we could stay for a long time, and I will be more than willing to stay by your side no matter what," Ruru turned around and stared straight at the looming seven-foot-tall man with a dark aura emanating from his body. The man had just teleported to her spot, and from the look of it, he was ready to kill Ruru. "But this is also good for me. At least, I will die protecting you, Milady."
