Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 11: THE ENCOUNTER WITH THE MINISTER'S CHILD

Kael was leaving the Emberlyn stronghold after a long day of training. As he walked out of the gates, he accidentally bumped into a young girl.

The girl was furious, her face red with anger. "How dare you touch me, commoner!" she shouted.

Kael apologized profusely, but the girl was having none of it. "You should be grateful that I'm even acknowledging your existence," she said haughtily.

Kael realized that the girl was the child of a minister in the Emberlyn court. He had heard of her family's influence and power.

The girl, who introduced herself as Emberlyn Aria, was a C-rank fighter. She sneered at Kael, her eyes flashing with disdain.

"You think you can touch me and get away with it? I'll show you what it means to cross an Emberlyn," she spat.

With a flick of her wrist, Aria fired a blast of hellfire at Kael. He tried to dodge, but the flames were too fast. His hair was singed, and he could smell the acrid scent of burnt hair.

Kael's face burned with anger, but he knew he was powerless against Aria's flames. He gritted his teeth and endured the humiliation.

Aria laughed, her eyes gleaming with triumph. "You should be grateful that I didn't kill you, commoner. Remember your place," she said, turning to leave.

As she walked away, Aria tossed a parting shot over her shoulder. "You'd do well to show more respect to those of higher standing. Maybe then you'll avoid getting burned again."

Kael watched her go, his anger and frustration simmering just below the surface. He couldn't help but feel a burning desire for power.

Why should he have to endure such humiliation? Why should he have to bow down to those who were born into power?

Kael's determination to become stronger grew. He would not be powerless forever. He would rise above his station and make sure that no one could ever humiliate him like that again.

The memory of Aria's hellfire and her haughty attitude fueled Kael's desire for power. He knew that he would have to work hard to achieve his goal, but he was ready for the challenge.

As he walked away from the stronghold, Kael couldn't shake off the feeling of resentment towards the nobility. He knew that he would have to navigate a complex web of social hierarchy and politics if he wanted to succeed.

But Kael was determined to forge his own path. He would not be held back by his circumstances. He would rise above them and become a powerful fighter in his own right.

With renewed determination, Kael set off towards his next destination, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
