Chapter 14 - The Demoness General

Smoke curled across the blackened hills beyond Virelios as Auron's army advanced toward the Ashmarch—a scorched wasteland ruled by demons and long thought untouchable. A crimson storm churned above the horizon, thick with sulfur and malevolence. At its center stood Drazhara, the Demoness General—first daughter of the Hellblood Triumvirate and the last threat barring Auron from absolute dominion over the western continent.

Auron rode at the vanguard, mounted atop his scaled nightmare beast, Obsidar. His harem followed close behind, adorned in darkened armor accented with gold. Kaelira stood proudly beside Seraphine, now forged into high command by lust, loyalty, and conquest.

"We've broken kings," Kaelira said. "Now let's crush a queen."

Auron's smirk could have split mountains.

The Gates of the Infernal Host

The battlefield rose like a temple to war, its ground littered with spikes and the corpses of beasts. On a bluff overlooking the chaos, Drazhara waited—towering, her form wrapped in obsidian armor fused with living flame. Her four wings stretched wide, and behind her, an army of demonspawn howled for blood.

Auron raised one hand.

System Command: Mass Execution Protocol

The sky howled. Beams of antimatter rained from above, tearing through thousands of enemy troops before they could even march. The Ashmarch screamed as its own blood boiled beneath Auron's wrath.

Drazhara did not flinch.

She leapt from the bluff, crashing down in front of Auron, sending shockwaves in every direction. Her blade—Hellfang—lit with cursed runes.

"You dare come to my realm, mortal?" she snarled.

"I don't come," Auron growled, stepping off Obsidar. "I take."

Clash of Titans

Their battle shook the continent. Drazhara's strikes warped space, her flames devouring magic and steel alike. But Auron was her opposite—cold precision, overwhelming power. Each of his blows shattered her defenses. The land split and screamed beneath them.

She summoned hellfire. He devoured it.

She unleashed demon familiars. He turned them with a glance.

The duel reached its crescendo when Auron drove his gauntlet through her armor, pinning her to the ruins of a spire.

"Submit," he commanded.

Drazhara spat blood and flame—but her defiance wavered.

"You think... a demoness bows?"

Auron gripped her chin, eyes blazing.

"I know you will."

System Override: Will Subjugation – Tier Apex

The infernal runes on her body flickered. Her wings trembled. She screamed—not in pain, but in surrender. Her flames extinguished, and her body shuddered as the crest of Auron branded itself across her abdomen.

System Message: Drazhara, Demoness General – Subjugated

"Added to Harem"

"Demon Army Control: Acquired"

"Western Continent: Conquered"

The battlefield fell into silence.

Aftermath

That night, a throne was forged atop a mountain of smoldering stone. Auron sat upon it, surrounded by his harem. Drazhara knelt at his feet, her armor replaced by dark silks and obsidian chains.

"Say it," Auron whispered.

Drazhara lowered her eyes, voice trembling.

"I am yours, my king."

Kaelira laughed softly. "Took her long enough."

Seraphine leaned into Auron's side. "What's next?"

He raised a hand, conjuring a glowing projection of the world—its continents marked, its dominions taken... and still more untouched.

"East," he said. "Where gods play at ruling."
