Knight Commander Brent stood outside the site of the ambush, his eyes scanning the terrain. His team had been tasked with investigating the attack on the Crown Prince's carriage, and he was determined to get to the bottom of it.
"Commander, we've found some tracks leading away from the scene," one of his knights called out. "They seem to match the description of the Shadowhand's insignia."
Brent nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. "Let's follow the tracks and see where they lead. We need to know who was behind this attack and why."
As they followed the tracks, Brent's team discovered a small campsite, abandoned but still bearing signs of recent occupation. Brent's eyes narrowed as he examined the site.
"Commander, look at this," one of his knights said, holding up a piece of torn fabric. "This insignia matches the Shadowhand's symbol."
Brent's face hardened. "This confirms our suspicions. The Shadowhand is behind the attack. But we need more evidence to bring them to justice."
The team continued their investigation, gathering more clues and following leads. Brent knew that time was of the essence; the Shadowhand was known for their ruthlessness, and they wouldn't hesitate to strike again.
As the sun began to set, Brent's team returned to the castle, their findings documented and analyzed. Brent would present their evidence to the king, and together, they would decide the next course of action.
The investigation had just begun, but Brent was determined to bring the Shadowhand to justice, no matter the cost.
