Roy (panting)-Wait... I have some bad news.
Jack-What now?
Roy (grim)-This area... it's going to be bombed. We have two days to reach the army camp.
Everyone (shocked)-What?!
Jisu-That's not news. That's a heart attack!
Jack (determined)- We can't wait anymore. We have to move Now.
Jin (interrupts)- But how are we supposed to go now? The plank's broken.
(Jack walks to the edge, scanning the buildings. He spots another one close enough—just a small gap between them).
Jack- We'll jump. The gap between these two buildings is small.
Jisu (alarmed)- Jump?! We're not athletes, you know!
Ruby (grinning)- Well, I do love parkour!
Jack (smirking)- Then why don't you teach us, Miss Parkour?
Ruby (confidently)- Hey, I can do that.
(She walks to the boundary wall and stands on it.)
Ruby- Okay, first—stand like this. Don't look down, or your adrenaline will spike. Just focus... and jump!
(She jumps—and lands safely on the next rooftop.)
Jack (impressed)- What a guide.
(He jumps next and lands perfectly. One by one, the others follow. Jack and Roy help from either side until everyone's across.)
Jack -So, Miss Parkour, got any ideas on how to jump safely from the 10th floor down to the 3rd?
Ruby (confused) -Why?
(Everyone turns to see the next building is only three stories high. The gap in height stuns them all.)
Fiona-Why don't we just stay here for now? It's already 6... and it'll be dark soon.
Jisu-Yeah, I agree. Let's not take any more risks today.
(They gather around and build a makeshift bonfire using wood, garbage, and whatever they can find.)
Jack-So... what do we do now?
Fiona (quietly)-Guys... I actually live in this building.
Roy-Wait, really?
Ruby-Why else do you think she threw her party at the town square? It's close to her place, obviously.
Jack-Which floor?
Fiona-Fifth.
19 Century-But that's still up high...
Jack-Hey, Jin—do you still have that rope I gave you when this all started?
Jin-Yeah, I've got it.
