Ruby: At least you know that about me, Roy. (smiles)
Roy: Just know no one here is taking responsibility for your life. Are you sure you want to do this?
Ruby: Alright then—it's a bet! If I make it there safely, you're calling me ma'am and becoming my servant for life.
Roy: Give her the rope. (competitive)
(Jin hands Ruby the rope. She expertly ties one end to the gate in a way that's almost impossible to untie, then ties the other end around her waist. She climbs onto the railing, nervous but hiding it well. Slowly, she begins descending, using all her Parkour skills.)
(She stops halfway as she spots zombies crowding the balcony below.)
Ruby: Do we still have a bottle of gasoline? (calls up)
Jack: Why?
Ruby: Because I've got a bunch of meat down here that needs frying! (jokes)
(Jack throws the bottle, and Ruby catches it with one hand. But now…)
Ruby: What do you think I am? A dragon? I can't spit fire! How am I supposed to light this? Give me the lighter!
Jack: If you use both hands, you'll fall instantly—it could mess up your spine!
(She tightly wraps the extra rope around one arm, cutting off blood circulation.)
Ruby (in her mind): It hurts like hell…
Jack: Here—take it! (he tosses the lighter)
(She catches it in her other hand, lights the bottle, and throws it onto the zombies. They burst into flames, some fall, some rush in, and others drop instantly. Ruby exhales deeply, frees her hand, and keeps going.)
(She stops between the third and fourth floors, then swings herself forward and releases at just the right moment. She lands safely.)
Jack (softly): She made it…
(shouts in joy) SHE MADE IT!
