Chapter 14 - NIGHTY NIGHT, LOVE.

★BOY'S SUITE★

Violet made her way to Leo's door, her heart racing with anticipation. She knocked softly, and Leo's voice called out from the other side.

"Violet, what are you doing here?" Leo asked, his tone a mixture of surprise and curiosity.

But before Leo could say anything else, Violet pushed open the door and flung herself into his arms. "Leo," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

Leo's initial surprise gave way to warmth as he wrapped his arms around Violet, holding her close. "It's okay, it's fine," he murmured, his voice soothing.

Violet buried her face in Leo's chest, feeling a wave of emotion wash over her.

She had been feeling so overwhelmed, so lost, and Leo's warm embrace was exactly what she needed.

As they stood there, Violet looked up into Leo's eyes, her gaze locking with his. Without thinking, she leaned in and pressed her lips to his.

Leo's eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't pull away. Instead, he deepened the kiss, his lips moving against Violet's with a gentle urgency.

William slipped into Leo's room, careful not to make too much noise.

He spotted Leo sprawled out on his bed, fast asleep. William's eyes sparkled with mischief as he crept closer to Leo's bed.

He reached out and gently tapped Leo's shoulder. "Bro, are you having a wet dream?" William asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Leo stirred, his eyes fluttering open. He looked disoriented for a moment before a sheepish grin spread across his face.

"Yeah, something like that," he muttered, his voice husky with sleep.

William's eyes lit up with excitement. "Can I guess who the lady was? Was she hot? Was it good? Was she nice?" he asked, his questions tumbling out in rapid succession.

Leo groaned, throwing an arm over his face. "Oh, come on, man," he protested, his voice muffled.

William chuckled, undeterred. "Come on, bro, share the details! You were clearly having a nice sex dream." he teased, his eyes glinting with amusement.

Leo sighed, lifting his arm off his face. "William, seriously, can we not have this conversation right now?" he asked, his voice laced with exasperation.

But William was relentless. "No way, bro! You're not getting off that easy. Spill the beans! Who was she?" he pressed, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Leo shook his head, a wry smile spreading across his face. "You're not going to let this go, are you?" he asked, resigned.

William grinned. "Nope! I'm going to keep asking until you tell me. So, come on, bro, who was the lucky lady?"

"Not your sh!t." He proclaimed and then started heading towards the fridge.

"You cool?" William asked and he nodded before heading out.

Oliver finally managed to catch up with Snow, his breath coming in ragged gasps. He reached out and gently grasped her hand, trying to pull her back.

"Hey, hold up, Snow," he said, his voice soft.

Snow spun around, her eyes blazing with anger. "What did you do, Oliver? Let go of me!" she spat, trying to shake off his grip.

"I'm not letting you go, Snow," Oliver said, his expression firm. "Not until we talk this out."

Snow's expression turned icy, her voice cold. "I don't want to talk, Oliver. Just leave me alone."

But Oliver didn't move. He just stood there, his eyes locked on hers, his expression firm.

"I'm not going anywhere, Snow," he said, his voice soft. "Not until you forgive me."

Snow's eyes flashed, her face twisted in anger. But then, her expression changed, and she said something that caught Oliver off guard.

"I'm trying to find my silence," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Oliver's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Your silence?" he repeated.

Snow nodded, her eyes searching his. "Yeah. I'm trying to find the silence inside me."

Oliver's expression softened, and he took a step closer to Snow. "I don't understand," he said, his voice gentle.

Snow's smile was enigmatic. "You don't need to," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

The standoff between them seemed to stretch on forever, the tension between them palpable. But finally, Snow spoke up again.

"Do you ever lose an argument?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with a hint of amusement.

Oliver's face broke into a wide grin. "Maybe yeah, the first person I can actually not be able to lose to," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

Snow's lips twitched, and for the first time, she laughed. It was a small, tentative sound, but Oliver's face lit up with joy.

"See, I could actually make you laugh," he said, his voice triumphant.

Snow's smile grew wider, and she nodded. "I'll let you off the hook just this once." she said, her voice filled with a newfound warmth.

As they walked off together, Oliver couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder.

He had no idea what Snow had meant by "finding her silence," but he was determined to find out.

As the day went on, Snow and Oliver had a blast together. They joked around, teased each other, and even pretended to be a couple when people asked.

They laughed it off, sometimes playfully denying it, other times pretending to be offended that anyone would think they were a real couple.

"I mean, can you believe they thought we were together?" Snow asked, giggling.

Oliver grinned. "I know, right? Like, we're barely friends... or something."

Snow playfully rolled her eyes. "Or something, huh?"

Their carefree banter continued throughout the day, filling the air with a lighthearted, playful energy.

As the sun began to set, Snow got behind the wheel to drive back to campus.

As they cruised along, Oliver gazed out the window, feeling content. Snow turned to him, a soft smile on her face.

"Oliver?" she said, her voice gentle.

"Mhm?" he replied, turning to her.

"Thank you, Oliver," she said, her eyes shining with gratitude. "You didn't let me spend my cold week all alone. You made it warm."

Oliver's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Warm, seriously?" he teased. "I didn't think I was that good of a company."

Snow chuckled. "You're not that bad, I guess."

Oliver grinned. "Hey, that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me."

Snow playfully rolled her eyes. "Don't get too excited, okay?"

They exchanged a warm, tender glance, the air between them filled with a sense of connection. Snow turned back to the road, a soft smile still on her face.

Oliver chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "You know, I have to say... I'm kind of glad I crashed your cold week."

Snow raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? Why's that?"

Oliver shrugged. "I don't know... I just feel that way."

Snow's smile grew wider. "Holy shït, that ain't an answer."

As they pulled up to the campus doorstep, Snow turned off the engine and turned to him once more.

Their eyes met, and they shared a warm, lingering smile. The moment hung in the air, filled with a sense of possibility.

"Thanks again, Oliver," Snow said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Oliver smiled. "No problem, Snow. Anytime."

The silence between them was comfortable, filled with a sense of friendship and connection.

As they sat there, Oliver realized that he was glad he had taken a chance and reached out to Snow. He was glad they had spent the day together.

As Snow walked into the living room, she spotted Violet watching a movie and preparing something in the kitchen. Violet looked up and smiled, but Snow could sense a hint of awkwardness.

"Hey, Snow! How was your day?" Violet asked, trying to sound casual.

Snow flopped down onto the couch, a mischievous glint in her eye. "A large dïck head, anyways, it was fun. I met up with Oliver, and he drove all the way from school trailing me, Can you believe it?"

Violet's eyes widened in surprise. "That's... quite a gesture. What happened?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

Snow grinned, enjoying the drama. "Well, let's just say it was quite adventurous!" she exclaimed, laughing.

Violet's expression turned uneasy, and Snow could tell she was trying not to show her emotions. "Oh, really? That's... weird. Well for enemies you two sure hang out a lot," Violet said, trying to play it cool.

Snow nodded, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I know, right? Certain enemies makes it perfect.b" she said, rolling her eyes.

Violet's eyes flashed with anger, but she quickly suppressed it. "So, was that all that happened today?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

Snow leaned back into the couch, a sly smile spreading across her face. "Oh, we just hung out. You know, the usual. But I have to say, it was actually kind of nice having him around," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Violet's eyes narrowed, and Snow could tell she was getting annoyed. But Snow just kept going, enjoying the drama.

The washing machine dinged and that was Violet perfect opportunity to leave Snow's story.

Just then, Violet's phone buzzed on the coffee table. Snow glanced over and saw a text from Leo, followed by another message with the name of a hotel and a time.

Snow's eyebrows shot up, and she quickly screenshot the messages on her own phone.

When Violet got up to check her phone, Snow beat her to it. "Hey, Violet, do you believe people sometimes mistake Oliver for my boyfriend? Even in this entire school?" Snow asked, trying to sound innocent.

Violet's eyes flashed with anger, and Snow knew she'd hit a nerve. "What's your point, Snow?" Violet asked, her voice tight.

Snow shrugged, her smile growing wider. "No point, really. I just thought it was funny. But hey, speaking of funny... I guess sometimes physics is right – opposites do attract," she said, her eyes glinting with amusement.

Violet's face turned red with anger, and Snow knew she'd pushed her too far. "You know, Snow, sometimes you can be really insensitive," Violet spat, her voice slowly venomous.

Snow stood up, her smile never wavering. "Oh, I'm sorry, Violet. I didn't realize I was being insensitive. But hey, at least I'm not boring, right?" she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

With that, Snow walked away to her room, leaving Violet seething with anger.

Violet grabbed her phone and saw the messages from Leo, her anger boiling over. She felt betrayed, and Snow's words had rubbed salt in the wound.

Snow called Oliver late that night, asking him to meet her outside. Oliver arrived, curious about what was going on.

"What's up, Snow?" Oliver asked, looking around to make sure they were alone.

Snow hesitated, looking nervous. "I'm sorry, Oliver. I'm sorry for everything," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Oliver's expression turned confused. "What are you sorry for, Snow?" he asked, taking a step closer to her.

Snow took a deep breath before speaking. "I knew Violet was dating Leo behind your back. I knew, and I kept quiet. I'm so sorry, Oliver," she said, tears welling up in her eyes.

Oliver's face turned cold, his eyes flashing with anger. "Enough, Snow. Please, just let it be. Let's not talk about this," he said, his voice firm.

Snow looked taken aback by Oliver's reaction. "What do you mean, enough? You have every right to be angry, Oliver. You're being cheated on," she said, her voice passionate.

Oliver's expression turned warning. "Snow, I mean it. Don't interfere in my relationship with Violet. It's none of your concern," he said, his voice low and even.

Snow's eyes flashed with anger. "That's not a relationship, Oliver! Violet's manipulating you, using you for her own gain. She doesn't care about you," Snow spat, her voice venomous.

Oliver's face turned red with anger, and he shouted at Snow. "That's not your concern! Whether I feel cheated or not, it's none of your business!" he yelled, his voice echoing through the night air.

The sky seemed to respond to Oliver's anger, dark clouds gathering and heavy rain pouring down. Snow looked shocked, taken aback by Oliver's outburst.

"I have evidence, Oliver," Snow said, her voice firm. "I can prove that Violet's been cheating on you."

Oliver's expression turned desperate. "Snow, please don't do this. Don't interfere," he begged, his voice cracking.

But Snow just smiled, a sly smile spreading across her face. "If you're curious about what's been going on between Leo and Violet, go to that place tomorrow . They'll be there," she said, her voice dripping with malice.

With that, Snow turned and walked away, leaving Oliver standing alone in the rain. Oliver watched her go, feeling a mix of emotions: anger and confusion.

As the rain poured down around him, Oliver realized that he had a choice to make.

He could confront Violet and Leo, or he could ignore Snow's warning and pretend everything was fine.

But as he stood there, getting soaked to the bone, Oliver knew that he couldn't just ignore Snow's words. He had to know the truth.
