★
Lily's heart pounded. Hard.
Her cheek still burned from the slap, but the way Liam stood in front of her, cigarette hanging loosely between his fingers.
She clenched her fists. "You're insane."
Liam exhaled a slow stream of smoke, his smirk deepening. "I've been called worse, sweetheart."
I didn't need saving."
He stepped closer, his scent wrapping around hercigarettes, leather "Unless you wanted that bitch to keep running her mouth and slap you again." His fingers twitched slightly, like he was still restraining himself from turning back and dealing with the girl.
Lily opened her mouth, then shut it.
Yeah, the red-haired devil had been ready to rip her apart. But still...
She shook her head, stepping back. "Whatever. Just don't do that again."
Liam chuckled, tilting his head. "Do what? Call you my girlfriend?"
Her heart stuttered.
Her jaw clenched. "What the fuck, Liam?" she said harshly, stepping closer to him. "When did I agree to be your girlfriend?"
Liam raised a brow. "Didn't say you did,, wont you love to be my girlfriend" he replied smoothly, though the way his fingers brushed his lips absentmindedly told a different story.
She snapped her gaze to Liam, her eyes burning with frustration.
And damn it, why did he have to look so fucking good?
His crisp white shirt stretched across his toned chest, the top buttons undone just enough to hint at the defined muscle beneath. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing strong forearms, veins subtly lining his skin. His white hair, tousled in a way that looked both careless and perfect, framed his sharp, jaw droppingly handsome face.
He let out a short breath, his lips twitching as if he found her cute. "That wouldn't have worked." He slid his hands into his pockets.
"See you later"she said and walked away but he held her back to him and She lost her balance slightly.
And her lips accidentally brushed against his.
Liam's body went rigid.
Lily's breath caught in her throat, her entire body freezing as the realization crashed over her.
For a second just a second she felt the warmth of his lips against hers.
She pulled away so fast she almost stumbled.
Liam…
Didn't move.
His dark eyes were locked onto hers, . Then, as if finally registering what had happened, he blinked out before the smallest hint of color dusted his sharp cheekbones.
His hand slowly lifted to the back of his head, scratching it as his lips parted slightly like he was about to say something then stopped.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" His deep, voice broke the silence.
Lily's breath hitched.
Her mind instantly went to Lucifer.
But she couldn't say his name.
She couldn't expose him.
"Yes." The word slipped out instinctively, she hesitated. "Uh" She swallowed, glancing away. "No."
And then, a slow, knowing smirk tugged at the corner of his lips just… satisfied.
Like her answer had given him exactly what he wanted.
He took another drag of his cigarette, exhaled lazily, then tilted his head slightly.

She reached her classroom, stepping inside and making her way to her seat. Ava, her seatmate, adjusted her glasses as she looked up from her notes.
As Lily approached, she looked up, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose, a hint of hesitation in her expression.
"Hi, Ava," Lily greeted, sliding into her seat with a weary sigh.
"Uhh, Lily," Ava began, her voice small, eyes darting away nervously. "I, um, wanted to apologize for yesterday. The way I talked to you… I wasn't feeling well, and I was just really frustrated. I shouldn't have taken it out on you. So… I'm really sorry about that."
Lily's brows lifted slightly in surprise. She hadn't expected an apology, especially not from Ava,
"It's fine," Lily said, offering a small smile. "Really. It's not a big deal."
"So… we're cool?"
"Yeah," Lily confirmed, leaning back in her chair.
Ava hesitated again, chewing on her bottom lip before glancing at Lily. "Can I ask you something? It's a little …"
"Are you and Liam… dating? Or do you like him?"
The question caught Lily off guard, her mind blanking for a moment.
"Uh… no," she finally said, a little too quickly. "I don't like him. Not at all.Liam is… he's not my type."
"Oh my God, did you hear? Liam's performing today. "I'm so fucking excited!"
"What's he singing? He never performs at these thingsHe's going to be so damn hot up there."
"Are you coming?" Ava asked, glancing at Lily. "It's probably going to be the highlight of the week."
Lily hesitated. Why was everyone so damn obsessed with him?
"Sure," Lily said finally, stuffing her books into her bag. "Why not?"

Liam stepped out from the shadows, and the entire room erupted. Screams, cheers, and frantic shouts filled the air as girls leaned forward.
"OH MY GOD, HE'S SO FUCKING HANDSOME!"
"LIAM, I LOVE YOU!"
"FUCK, LOOK AT HIM!"
He stood there, tall and composed, dressed in all black with his sleeves rolled up, revealing the tattoo lining his strong forearms. His white hair fell messily over his forehead, and his sharp, handsome features were illuminated by the spotlight.
With effortless confidence, he crossed the stage and sat at the grand piano, his long fingers hovering over the keys.
Then, with a single note
"I never knew what I wanted… never cared, never felt a thing. But then she came and fucking ruined me…"
"I tried to fight it, tried to forget. But she's everywhere, her ghost in my head…"
But then you smiled, and the walls came down,
Like a reckless storm, you tore me to the ground.
Now I'm left here, lost in the wreck,
Trying to hold on, trying to forget…
(Chorus)
But I can't sleep, can't breathe,
You're in every damn dream.
Every whisper, every shadow,
Every tear that I bleed.
I was whole, now I'm broken,
And there's nothing I can do…
I'm ruined for you.
I gave you all, but you slipped away,
Left me drowning in the words I couldn't say.
Now I'm screaming in the silence,
Begging fate to turn back time…
Then, as the final note lingered in the air, he stood from the piano and walked to the front of the stage
Holding a single red rose.
"WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND?"
A collective gasp swept through the room.
"What the actual fuck?!"
"No fucking way! The new girl?!"
"MY LIAM?!"
Lily stood frozen in place, her heart hammering against her ribs as the entire auditorium fell silent. She had never expected this never imagined that Liam, the most popular guy in school, would be down on one knee, holding out a bouquet of deep red rosesm
She didn't know what to say.
Her lips parted slightly, but no words came out.
"Please, accept me, I promote to love you."
"This can't be happening," a girl near the front sobbed.
Her mind raced back to Lucifer. Wasn't she supposed to belong to him? But she couldn't expose him. She couldn't tell anyone.
"I… I don't know," she said shaking her head.
