' Okay, I'll be there in a minute. ' I turned to take a look at the people on table ten. Instead of people, there was only one person. From the looks of it, it was an ordinary man in his late twenties.
' I'm sorry for the delay. May I have your order? ' I had already finished with table eight. He raised his head and that's when I knew I made a mistake.
' It's okay. I'ld like a cappuccino with extra cream. ' He said with a smile.
Oh, my God. This guy was hotter than Apollo. His blue black hair wasn't brushed but it didn't subtract from his handsomeness, instead it gave it a ' just got out of the shower feel '.
Okay, your order will be ready in ten minutes. '
I had to save myself from the embarrassment of starting at him. As I turned to leave, I saw a smile tug at his lips.
A few minutes later, I brought his cappuccino. Without looking up from his phone, he said thanks. But as I left him, I heard him mutter;
' He's getting prettier everyday. '
It was all I could do to stop myself from turning back to confront him. Maybe he wasn't talking about me. Possibly his boyfriend. Though he doesn't look like he swings that way. Well, it doesn't concern me.
All of a sudden, my phone rang. It was the doctor calling.
' Kai, I have bad news. Your brother suddenly had a relapse.'
' I'll be there in thirty minutes.'
I hurriedly told my boss everything that had happened. He reluctantly let me go, after making me promise that I'll handle an extra shift on my free day.
As I rushed out, I noticed Apollo starting at me with an amused smirk.
