I watched as the giant went unconscious leaving me breathing out, exhausted and in pain. One's the blue steam stopped spewing out of my body I felt all my energy leaving me. I leaned on the massive sword to support myself.
I walked towards where george was and I stood there waiting for the royal battle to finish. It didn't take long for the man with a cigar to anouncent that the battles has finished.
" that concludes the battle Royal. You fiveteen have passed!" Said the man with a cigar.
I dropped on the ground with my sword. I laid down resting my body and muscles which where twitching and spasming. George woke up and he looked startled.
" what going on? Why do you look like your on deaths door?!" Asked George worriedly.
"Heh nothing happend" I said cooly, while closing my eyes and grinning. I feel it have gotten a bit stronger, slowly I will reach the top.
" your a weird you know that right. Any way what's with that massive sword? Where did you get it from?" Geroge asked curiously as he looked at the massive sword next to me.
I stared at for a bit and realised that I haven't given it a name yet. A blade like this deserves a name.
" this is Berserk my new sword" I said giving the sword a name.
" heh what a weird name. Now I'm even more curious as what had happened" said George perplexed.
" the last fiveteen gather up!" Screamed the man with a cigar.
George helped me up and while I leaned on berserk we made our way to the middle. As we walked I saw the other participants banged up except four people, The ones I mention before who are properly the strongest here.
The man with a cigar looked at me with a acknowledging look giving me a nod. I feel like that he saw my fight with the giant. He proceeded to look at everbody else and he had a glimt of acknowledgment.
"I'm suprised how many talented participants we have here. This round up of marines might be the strongest I've seen. But only ten of you will make the other five will go home. Like I said before you will be tested by Tom Hawks himself!" Said the man as he pointed at the sky.
Everybody including myself looked towards the sky where a old man with glasses was flying towards us.
Bang
The old man landed infont of us creating a crater in the ground. The dust was blocking our view but as it despeared a man with a immense figure came into view. How? How is that old man who's properly in his hundreds have a body like that. His muscles where tight and compact screaming with power. His blue mohwak and his black sunglasses and a long old beard.
This is definitely him as the marine in the cafe described. He wore a white vest with no shirt and plain yellow shorts with sandals. He looked like he was dressed for a holiday.
Screech
A premium blue eagle landed on the old man's shoulder. The eagle had the same blue mohwak and small sun glasses. It was so cool! Me and George looked at eachother and our eyes sparkled with excitement.
Tom Hawks looked at all of us and analysed all of us one by one for about a minute. We all held our breath in anticipation.
Boom bang
Soon the pressure around us got heavy I instinctively activated my observation haki. I was shocked how can one person have this much power. He was radiating immense amount energy that it felt suffocating. The pressure cracked the ground unleash us. I felt this before back at marineford what is this power?.
I looked at George who was struggling to stay consicious. I saw him tightening his Fist to the point of bleeding, he was struggling but I know he will survive. This went on for another five minutes where I started to begin to feel the side effects.
Thud
I turned my head and saw a one of the marines drop to the floor. Soon after I felt the pressure dissappear and alot of us sighed in relief that we could finally breathe.
" take him away Cigar" said Tom Hawks suddenly. I watched as the man with a cigar whoa apparently is called Cigar. I was shocked that his name was actually Cigar. As Cigar took the marine away to the marine medic Tom Hawks spoke.
" you fourteen will be interviewed in my ship one by one. If you pass you will stay on and leave this base towards the hell island" said Tom Hawks straightly.
Bang
He jumped away and left us alone. I looked at the old man that left and I was in awe. He truly Is the only man who can make me strong, I can't wait.
Cigar appeared before us and said" all of you follow me. You will taken to the marine ford ship port where you will be interviewed by Mr Hawks" said cigar with a strict voice.
We followed cigar down to the ship port.

After fivteen minutes we finally made it infont of the Tom Hawks ship. To say it was big was a understatement his ship was bigger than most high classed marine ships. His ship was unique to other marine ships as his looked literally like a eagle. The front was a eagles beak and on the sides the ship was covered with fake blue feathers. And instead of a marine logos he had a eagle logo on his ship.
I was shocked by how creatively this was designed. Cigar lead us inside the ship on the main deck where alot of people where at work. Taking boxes of food, alcohol and many other things off and on. But I realised one thing every one was having fun or they where smiling. We walked passed the marines and made our way to the great cabin.
I watched some marines drinking or playing checkers or doing something that was fun. As we got closer cigar halted his steps and said.
" only one of you will go up and all of you will stay here and wait for your turn. Roux you will go fist" said cigar as he pointed at the red haired girl with two katans.
We waited on the deck for the interview to finish. I leaned on the railings and watched the sea move with Grace. I haven't been on a boat for a long time, my duties where doing my sisters paper work and train her squad. Geroge approached me and stood right next to me leaning his hand on the railing.
" I never thought it was possible to be able to come this far. Two weeks ago I would of given up already... but seeing you struggle and get up made me want to so the samething. You lit this fire in me that I didn't know i had and for the first time since I was a kid I actually feel like I can dream" said George with fire lit in his eyes.
I looked at him and smiled. I extended my hand for a fist pump and said " ofcource bro. But don't you think this is over this is only the start"
" yeah your right bro" George said grinning and giving me a fist pump.
Soon after the red hair girl came out of the cabin and stood on the deck. I guess that means she's not leaving. Soon after that the black haired angel was called up and came back stand with us. After was green haired the four eyed poop, next was the pretty blonde guy who I forgot the name of but they both passed.
Now only six positions where left. The other eight marines went in and half of them stayed and the other four left. Some where crying as they left and one of the throw a tantrum but soon stopped as the red haired girl got annoyedand beat him up, badly and then proceeded to throw the poor man in the sea.
But as their where only two of us left means it was our turn next. Cigar looked at me and said " you blue haired muscular kid, your next"
I did as he said I walked up the stairs a d went threw the double door. I was met with a big room with blue decorations and eagle plastered every where. This man was opposed with eagles. Tom Hawks himself was behind his big desk while his back was turned against me.
Soon I felt immense pressure making my legs shake a bit. This wasn't that power I saw before it was his own pure strength he was radiating outwards it felt nearly suffocating. I knew this felt this feeling before in the war it was blood lust. This man must of been a monster before he retired to be able to make my legs shake by pure blood lust was insane.
He turned around with his eagle on his lap. The eagle was so cool!
" tell me your name boy" said Tom Hawks suddenly.
" my name is Ro-" inwas going to say my name but Tom Hawks screamed at me.
" nobody cares what your name is!" He screamed at me realising even more pressure.
I looked at him and he looked at me with sharp eyes. I'm confused what am I supposed to do? I did what I could only do.
" yes sir yes, my name is meaning less I shall never disclose my name to you ever again! Only when I'm string enough I will!" I screamed with all my might.
He looked at me and I looked at him and then I looked back at him and then he looked back at me until he finally said " good".
" tell me boy what is your dream?" He asked.
I looked at him and I said " sir! I do not have a dream have a goal, I wish to become stronger and stand at the top of power so i can fulfil my goal" I said to him respectfully.
He looked at me for a few seconds before he started to pet his hawk. He then said " what is this goal?"
" I can't say it sir as it will get me introuble" I said to him with a salute.
"Hmmm is that so... than if you say anything in this room it will only be heard between us to and no one I promise on my pride and as man" he said.
I looked at him and his eyes held the truth and trust. He is a man who keeps his promises and never breaks them. That's the kind of man I think he is. I thought about my goal, I rembered my sister, my comrades and many others die it was Ingraved in my memory. I got out my sisters clover pin and clenched it, I can't forget her face as she died under the rock that was launched by the people she trusted the most.
I know my sister wanted me to love in peace and freedom but the thought of scumbags like Akainu and the world goverment around made me sick to my stomach. I can't just love on as she died right infront of me I could see it in her eyes the pain, sadness and the hope that her brother will save her. I felt it she wanted to live. but I didn't save her because I was weak and pathetic.
But I will become strong to get revenge and pay them back. I looked at yom Hawks with cold eyes and I said" I want to kill the admirals and the goverment"
Tom hawks looked at me seriously. And then he proceeded to laugh out loud.
"Scehehehahahaha" laughed Tom Hawks out loudly his laughed boomed so loudly you properly could hear it from the outside he than realised immense amount of bloodlust making me drop to the floor.

" dont joke with me boy. You a snot nose brat wants to kill the admirals and the world goverment. Your having a laugh right you are nobody. I left you and that other blonde kid last as you two where the weakest and the most pathetic. " Said Tom Hawks cold as he let out more bloodlust making me tremble. He stood up and approached me.
" do you think you only one holds a grudge against the world goverment. I've met them all children, women, and men they all held hatred towards the world goverment. Do you know what you have in common with them. They where all weak and a bunch of nobody's so l will suggest you leave and go back to your pathetic family and life" he said as he was about to walk back to his desk.
I felt it again the flood of memories of my sister dying and my hands drenched in her blood. I rembered how we where homeless beggar's in the city struggling to find food and water. But I stole and stole and gave it all to her because I didn't want her to be skinny and boney. I rembered the nights where my sister and I slept in the rain and she was crying in coldness and pain.
I promised to protect her my whole life because she was my sweet sister. I will not tolerate any of this any more i will kill them all for taking her away from me!
" ahhhhhhhhh!" I screamed as I pushed past the pressure. I stood up on my two feet with my legs nit shaking anymore. My hatred was clear to me now.
Tom Hawks turned around and he used the power as he did before. The pressure became ten times heavier as he realised his bloodlust with it. But I stood my there unaffected and said " I don't care what you think about my hatred or other people's hate towards the world goverment but I WILL KILL THEM IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO!"
Tom Hawks glared at me coldly and said " you a weak and pathetic nobody who has no talent or skill. What will you do if the while world goverment comes after you what will you do then?!" Asked Tom Hawks coldly.
" isn't it obvious I will fight them even if the world is against me, if my friends leave me by myself to stand alone. Then I will! Nothing and i mean nothing will stop me from taking my revenge! No matter who stands in my way be it a emperor, admiral or the devil himself! I will destroy everything in my path!" I screamed with pure hatred my eyes where trembling by my blazing fury.
Tom Hawks looked at me with and realised all his weird energy making the ship shake and the walls cracking by the sheer power if his energy. The pressure didn't bother me anymore i dared to look at him in his eyes prepare to die here. Tom Hawks smiled with a weird grin and said " good you pass"
He said which left me baffled and confused. He sat back on his chair as his prt eagle sat on his lap. I was lefts stunned before he askef" Is there something else you want?"
" no sir!" I said as i quickly got out the room.
As I came through the doors the others looked at me curiously. I looked around and some of them where sweating profusely including Cigar. Some of the workers where wobbling about and some where unconscious. I guess we caused a massive commotion, I made my way to George who looked at me curiously.
" why are you looking at me like that?" I asked him.
" properly because all that insane pressure we delt from the room and around us. It felt like I was in the grip of the devil." George said wiping his sweat off.
Before I could say anything cigar called George to go in the room for the interview. As george left I felt many stares from the other participants. I waved back at them shyly.
George walked into the room and he met the mighty Tom hawks but before he could introduce eachother he said " you pass, Now get out I'm busy!"
George was shocked but he did as he said and quickly left.
