Darkness / The Void Between Dimensions
The pain vanished—leaving only the wind… and emptiness.
No body. No self.
Just a single voice echoing through eternity.
"Eliahz…"
It wasn't loud, but it thundered in his soul.
He knew instantly—this was the wind.
But not just any wind.
It was alive.
An ancient presence, older than the Earth itself.
"I am the Watcher of Air.
The shadow of storms.
The unnamed force.
And you—are the Chosen of the Wind.
Rise… with your name—Eliahz."
In that instant—his stopped heart trembled.
Something deep inside ignited, like the first gust of wind after a long winter.
—His Core had awakened.
Beside the Gate / Edge of the Black Market
"Kh–kha… What… is this…"
The boy who should've died slowly rose to his feet.
For a brief moment, his dark eyes flashed a soft golden brown—
then returned to black.
The bleeding stopped—somehow.
And the wind howled around him, alive and wild.
"GRRRAHH!!"
The same monster leaped again.
But this time—Eliahz raised his hand by instinct.
A sudden burst of wind shot forth—like a micro vacuum explosion.
The creature was hurled into a wall with a deafening crash.
He stared, wide-eyed.
He had no idea what just happened.
"That was… wind…?"
His hands trembled. His heart pounded.
He hadn't controlled it—
The wind had moved with him, reacting to his emotion.
This was the power of WINDWRAITH—
A wind spirit now fused within his Core.
One hour later / Dimensional Borderline
Figures in navy cloaks emerged.
Their insignia shimmered faintly: MDA – Multidimensional Defense Association.
"Unregistered Core Activation—Category C—has been detected."
"From a nameless boy…? This region's never had a wielder before."
"And a Gate opened randomly—monster slipped through undetected."
They watched drone footage—
The boy stood in the ruins, panting, surrounded by shattered walls and blood.
"Keep eyes on this kid… Do not let him slip off the grid."
The next night / Forest near the border
Eliahz hid outside the black market zone.
He knew he couldn't return—they'd come for him.
He couldn't control his powers yet—
Sometimes the wind rose just when he panicked or got scared.
Even a sneeze shook the trees.
He was hungry, tired, shivering—
But the voice of the wind was still with him.
"You've done well… but this is only the beginning."
Another monster emerged from a glitching dimensional crack.
It looked like a black scorpion—
Its legs thin and barbed, its tail ready to strike.
Eliahz gritted his teeth and inhaled sharply—
He swung his arm, a blade of wind slicing forward—
but it missed.
The monster lunged—
He rolled just in time to avoid the venomous stinger slicing toward his throat.
He grabbed the only thing nearby—a rock.
And in that instant, the wind whispered:
"Don't try to control it.
Become one with it."
Eliahz closed his eyes—
and hurled the rock.
The wind surged along its path,
Slamming into the creature's eye.
It shrieked—collapsing to the ground.
His clothes were stained with blood again.
But this time—he was still standing.
Wounded. Gasping.
But alive.
Eliahz had killed his first monster.
He fell to his knees,
Clutching his chest,
Feeling something growing inside him.
A power taking root.
MDA Surveillance Command Room
"What's the kid's name again?"
"No records in the system, sir. But locals call him… Wind Kid."
"…We've got a problem."
The camera froze on the boy's glowing golden eyes—
Just before the feed cut to black.
