My new armor was amazing. The leather was blackened Dragon hide with several of the scales used as studs or layered into scale mail plates. My chest had a nice sturdy layer of scales and black iron. My stomach was as left mostly bare except the thick leather as where my shoulder hips elbows and knees. This was done to keep my full movement intact and because I could use Stone skin to supplement my defenses. The black iron, A type of iron that is one of the few naturally accruing magical metals, was used to make the chain mail that went between the scale plates and leather. This caused the armor the extra magic resistant at 200 MP resistance. This ment I could survive a few low level castings of Atomic if I was the target. The extra resistance came from how the armor was layered and the properties of the armor.
Now as amazing as my armor was it was style a light armor and Nora's new heavy armor seemed to flow great with her Suit. Her suit that she called a valt suit seemed to have a magic resistance of 20MP already. Which is strange since it's from another world. But her new armor was a heavy set of armor that used both the bones and scales. Ragina melting them down with Hell fire to add in mana crystals and black iron. Ragina then used some Dire wolf pelts she had ordered and the dragon leather as a base and weaved light weight plates of the alloy she made. The end product was a suit of full plate that was half the weight of steal and had a magic resistance of 500 MP. The only down side was the armor didn't have as much range of motion.
Nora said it be fine for her and parred her new armor with a lever action heavy crossbow Regina had bought of a dwarf smith who was retiring. The repeating crossbow as Ragina called it was enchanted with a spell that if you didn't have ammunition for the Crossbow it would fire a bolt of force magic energy not to unsimilar to my Eldritch blast but that did cause more ware on the weapon.
"Regina? What's the best way to sell weapons?" The thought of selling the big fuck off sword had been in my mind for a while. I had started taking skill that would benefit my current sword so the massive blade didn't have a place with me.
"Well I could buy it or I could even put you in one of the auctions." She smiled her dog ears stand straight.
"What are the auctions," Nora asked as she moved threw several posses with the crossbow in her armor.
"Their are several auctions but they all fall under one of three levels, City Auctions, County Auctions, or a World auction. No matter if your looking at an illegal or state run auction they will fall under one of these. Now which level you can get into depends entirely on a Mage with identity and Value who is affiliated with eather a country or a organization."
I nodded my head, "So these mages decided can see the value and then a small identification and then tell you what auction you can join? Weather it Public or Private?"
Regina Nodded excitedly as her tale swayed back and forth, "Exactly!"
I nodded as I summoned Dusterstolz the 8 foot blade of Malice and Hate, "How much do you think I can sell this for?"
"Oh Wow…. Umm. Let me call over Renai. She's actually the town's connection to the actions."
"Dam my guild girl is truly all that?" I said with a chuckle. As Regina runs off I decided to run threw some of the stances from Blade Dancer.
Rivers of Blood sings threw the air as I move from one stance to the other. My new armor was both louder and heavier then the ragged leather I got at the orphanage. But it felt amazing. And with Quick Feet I move at insane speed. So much so that even Nora has to stop and stair at has fast I flow threw the movements.
As I finish and sheath my blade the door opens and the two dog girls run inside. Regina all smiles and Renai with literally money in her eyes. "This is going to make me so much money!"
"How so?" I asked genuinely confused.
"Well kinda like guild work I'll make a commission on part of the sell. And this is easily good enough to be sold at a Country level auction. Dam did you get this in the dungeon from one of those weird coins everyone's talking about?" Renai turned stars in her eyes.
"No I got it from the dragon. What do you mean coins in the dungeon?"
"Well some people have been showing up with weird ornamental weapons some with crazy abilities and then other been saying that those coins also give skills and Abilities."
(Hey that's From some of my kind. Turns out that a few of the more chaos aligned Walkers figured out that while it hard and no fun to just give you Gacha coins it's easy to influence dungeons do to how they are created. And apparently Gacha coins are now a uncommon loot item. So they are in nearly every chest in every dungeon. And they only work correctly for you and other worlders. Anyone else touches one it auto rolls and they have equal chances of getting something or dieing.)
I feel rage then laughter then my body settles on annoyance. "Guess I'm going dungeon diving now."
"We'll make sure to be back in a few days. I'll know which auction you can take part in by then and you might need to travel there," Renai says as with my head hung low I leave the Hounds End Smith Shop.
"I'm guessing this has something to do with those Plains Walkers?" Nora asked as she jogs up beside me.
"Yea. Apparently they thought it be funny. The coins are also apparently an uncommon loot item so they are basically in every chest and probably in most drop items that can be looted from the stomachs and pockets of monsters down there."
"God that sounds disgusting. So we head down there to what stop people from getting them?"
I sigh as we stop infront of the sewer entrance, "No We are head down there to loot a bunch of them because they gave me awesome shit and some part of my brain wants more. Plus's they are hard for me to get otherwise. It's been almost a week since I killed the dragon have leveled up and haven't gotten a single Gacha token."
"That is strange I'm already caught up in levels to you," she pointed out.
(That because your attribute power ups aren't entirely random. I the Unknownable make them and then randomly give them to you. Do to this your skills are much more streamlined and powerful. So besides needing actually challenging or new things to fight to level up the amount energy need to level up is higher do to your skills being better.)
"Fuck! Unknowable just said it's his fault I level up slowly."
Nora just gave me a pitying look before we walked into the sewers. After killing a few skeletons and a few weird zombies we found the dungeon and head inside. The dungeon was call the Heart Deeps Dungeon for no reason other then that's what the guy who found it called it. It was a basic ecosystem with Dire Rats and Skeletons at the bottom and the boss monster on the 4 floors a lesser Undead Drake on the top. It had slime and a few monsters goblins and human zombies but mostly it was just low rank stuff till you got to the undead drake and knights.
Usually you'd get some uncommon and rare items but now that the Gacha tokens are down here it be different. I knew monster could come out of the Gacha. Speaking of which i summoned Talon. He was a great help in fights with his strong legs and beak.
He's my front line scout. Not only is he an ridiculously fast but familiars are apparently immortal. After getting him registered at the guild I was in formed that true familiars will regenerate over time as long as I was alive. Unknowable backed up her claim say that any creature native to the Demiplane or a familiar that I bound to myself are immortal and will regenerate over time in the Demi-plain. The time need apparently depends on how bad the wounds are but it apparently could take anywhere form a day to a year.
Talon had gone hunting down here many times already. He grow stronger form eating the mana stone and was quite the little glutton. He was single Handedly keeping all the monsters that come into the sewers away. It had killed so many Rats and Skeletons and been seen so many times by other guild members that a bounty was put out on him before I registered him as a familiar. He was incredibly smart to, so I explained to him what i needed the coins in the chests and set him loss on the monsters in the dungeon. In the mean time i wasnted to close of the gate.
An entire section of town was warded off the other day. The wards kept anyone infected with this biological zombie mutation inside and let people that weren't infected threw. After it was discovered that the infection was coming threw the sewers it was warded off too. Every time they clear the sewers the infection kicks off again hours later. They believed it was the work of some sort of litch but I knew it was coming from this portal.
"Unknownable how do I close it?" I stood infront of the portal hand gripping my blade Nora stood beside me gun and crossbow locked and loaded.
(Just a heads up I'm not Unknownable My names Harper I'm a lower Plaine Walker that is the Lord of Desire and lover of technology. I once's was in a position like your own but with more crime and less morals. I didn't get to see other worlds for a long time and when i visited this version of this universe I was going threw a fight with one of the more moral members of my cort. Valorie believed that what I had done in the last world we visited was no better than what the corporation that killed her best friend did. So I may have taken my anger out on this world and made some original mutations then buffed them with some bad ass Cyberware. Any who all you have to do to close this portal is save Zoe a spunk college girl from being tortured, Raped and eaten by a zombie that I modified and then woke up. I'll also throw in a bones if you promise to not tell my wife.)

You must find the monsters nest on the 30 floor fighting threw a hord of techno zombies and mutant zombies such as Chargers, Hunters, and Smokers. Their are 3 mini Bosses two witches that have been modified by technology and a Tank. If you do not reach the 30 floor with one hour Zoe will become a Queen. A lead the zombie of this world threw the portal to lay waist to your world. All to satisfy the hung of her never ending hordes.}

"We need to move fast. She's at the top of the building and we only have an hour." I say as I drew my sword an sprinted towards the door.
My path was quickly blocked as a massive slab of stone crash into my path. I back flipped dodging the rocks and metal. I looked up to see a near 10 feet tall mountain of mussel who's finger where breaking threw the ground and ripping up another boulder. I growled as I charged dashing forward cutting the next stone in half. "I don't have time for you!" My hand slammed into the things head as I pumped 5 Sp into each eye. I flipped over his head as Detonation activated his eyes exploding inside his head with the force of 10 pounds of TnT.
I rushed inside cutting threw corpses with a single goal in mind. As I head to the stairs I heard Nora yell, "Hold up I have a better idea!" She stopped infront of a metal door, "Help me open this up. If we are lucky we can use it to climb up to the top!"
I smiled as I ran over and helped her pri open the door. As it flew op we where greeted by a small lit room. "What's this?"
She smile as she press a button the small room began to move upward. It went up and up stopping on the 15 floor. The doors slid open and no sooner had we stopped out did we hear a snapping sound fallowed by the room falling down crashing into the basement. I sighed as I began to head towards the stairs again.

"We are making decent time." I said as Nora took down some creature with a long tongue. Several zombies seemed to just rot away rapidly if they came to close to me. The ones that didn't where easily cut down.
We can up to a room with big red doors filled with several gun and a huge pile of ammunition. The guns include as Scar-H a Mosseburg, a Rimington, and a Desert Eagle along with a few hundred rounds of ammunition. It was enough to make Nora happy which i guess is all that really matters. I look at her in the heavy plate armor and can't help but corse the armor for covering up her massive breasts. Each was like a mouth watering Watermelon. And now they where squished into that metal armor hiding her amazing figure from my eyes. It was a crime against me.
We continued threw the other door which opened into the stairwell. We took the stairs up three floors. I stopped Nora before she charged threw the door. I heard the crying of a witch coming from just the other side.

One of Zoe's friends was already dead. We need to pick up the pace. We are only on the 18th floor. 12 more floors then we still had to actually find the creature and girl. "That crying is a witch. When I tell you to open the door. I'll charge up a few abilities to one tap her."
She nodded and grabbed the door handle waiting for my signal. I dropped into a low stance my left hip slightly forward. Quick Draw would be my base, I'd fallow it up with power strike and lunging strike just incase I need the extra range. Magic slowly flowed threw me as static electricity danced around me and my blade. I gave her a small nod as I whispered, "Thundering Smite." As soon as the door opened the crying stopped and the witch began to move but i launched like a bullet my blade striking her chest the blade unable to cut threw the strange metal plating. But the force of my strike seemed to dent her chest and the electricity seemed to burn her flesh and dance around the circuits.
I jumped back my blade dashing up blocking a strike from a mantis blade coming out of the second which's modified left arm. I nocked the serrated blade away countering slashing out cutting a shallow cut in the which's stomach. It had some sort of armor under her skin. I kicked her away and head several loud booms as part of the modified witch where torn from her body.
I turned and saw Nora with the Mosseburg Shotgun thing. It was even louder then the 10mm but it tore small chunks of armor and flesh from the monster. The damage wasn't major but it was more then it should have been. Must be some sort of skill or ability she picked up from leveling. I turned a cast a few Mana Mines letting them drip towards the two Cybernetic Zombies. The two slowly raised ups an charged straight into the way of the mines exploding. As the smoke cleared they two where crumpled corpses of metal and meat.
"Thought you where going to one tap?"
"I thought I would be strong enough to cut threw them. But they had armor. Maybe we should use the exploding bolts trick on the creature up stairs. It's definitely going to be stronger then these things," i explained my idea.
"Okay should I use the 3 pound or 5 pound?"
"The building doesn't seem super stable so let's use the 3s inked get desperate."

And there goes another Survivor. We definitely weren't doing a great job at saving everyone. I don't think we could move any faster. I looked toward the rushing horde attracted by the sound of Explosions and gun fire. I use lunging strike to get into the thick of them spinning like a top my blade cleaves threw the zombies like a hot blade threw butter. As I lose my momentum I I drop down as the front line is blown back by the blast of metal pellets and what looked like lightning. Two quick blast is all it took as i jumped up in a spin cutting a lunging zombie that was flying with two mantis blades aimed at Nora. The two halves drop the the ground as a fist the sized of my chest grabs me. Before I can get pulled to far the things chest explodes in a glowing plume or molten metal and flames.
"Okay what are you doing?" I yelled as I get up picking back up my blade.
Nora was reloading the ammo she called 12 Gage shells, "I have a ability that can increase the power of my shots but increases the ware on the gun. And the lighting and fire charges are a magic spell I picked up. They are called trick shots. Both the ability and the spells. It's power shot, Shocking shot, Magma Shot, and I have one more called force increase. I got that last one after killing the witches. They use a good amount of my MP and SP."
"Dam you got a level up? I did even get one from that mini boss tank!" My luck was just shit apparently.
We continued up the building easily clearing out the rest of the horde and mutants. We reached the top floor with no more real challenges.

We charged threw the building, kicking open doors and searching room by room till we found them. When we opened the room we found three desiccated corpses, A woman strung up crying and a true monster.
The creature was grotesque, long tentacles of metal held the body up off the floor. His arms where long almost reaching if knees mantis blades covered in chains that spun like a thousand sharp blades hung off the melted skin that was stretched so tight it was almost translucent. Its arms ended in hands with three long fingers will metal talons replacing it finger nails. Its legs were miss shaped shriveled things covered in barbwire that both seemed to be coming out of its fesh and shredding what remained of them. It's face was a mouth filled with actual razor blades and scalpel coming out of it's tongue gums and throat. It didn't have lips or eye lids and its eyes seemingly were replaced by pitch black orbs with red cameras in the middle. It roared only to get a cossbow bolt to the mouth. I look back at Nora confused.
"Five pounder! If you don't kill it now it's going to live in my nightmares."
I just sighed as the creature swallowed the bolt and growled. I snapped my fingers as the bolt detonated inside its body. It screamed in pain but seemed fairly okay so I launched forward with a Quich Draw. I stacked every ability I could with a Blasting Smite which nocked the creature back off its tentacles. A bolt fired by my head sinking only half an inch into it's armor. I sheathed my blade and triggered Detonator again the arm exploding and actually being blown to pieces as it screamed in pain. I launched forward lashing out with my own mantis blade which it caught and threw aside with its chainsaw version. It tried to fallow up with its missing arm but I launched my own left arm down stabbing down threw its bottom jaw into its throat.
It roared in agony as one of it tentacles arms tried to stab me. Flesh met metal as Imbrace of the deep my own tentacles blocked the attack. I was thrown back rolling across the ground coming to a stop by Nora. My tentacle was nearly completely eviscerated I let them fade away leaving the smell of ocean. The creatures skin seemed to rot faster but as the dead and melted skin dissolved from my Auras it only exposed metal and plastic. The only good news was that the time had stopped.
"Fuck me, it ate 5 pounds of TnT twice!" Nora growled as she fired off three bolts each piecing a half inch to and inch. "I can't keep using this skill. Power shot uses a good deal of SP and none of my other skills work with a bow or crossbow."
I detonated the explosive bolts each tearing threw its body with force and flame but it was still standing. The damage was massive but the actual tech inside of it seemed to be regenerating. Its arm which had been torn apart was already nearly full regrown. These last few explosions tore up is body. The metal just seemed to be regrowing. "Maybe use the shotgun thing. If fire and explosions isn't working maybe we should swap to electricity."
She nooded as she slug the repeating crossbow and took back out her Mossberge. She racked the slide before firing a net of metal balls and static slammed into the regrowing chest. Sparks flew as the metal balls where bouncing and scraping against its chest but the static electricity made it stop regenerating. After a few seconds it didn't look like it would start again.
A big smile crossed my face as I channels a Thunderouse Smite on both mantis blades. "Nora I think we just found the path to victory."
Lunging strike sent me flying fallowing a second valley of metal and lightning. It stumbled from the impact of her magic empowered ammo as the thermal energy of my blades separated the metal and the lightning of my magic pored in. It screamed as both blade punched threw its Back. Tearing threw rotting meat and metal threw heart and wire. I kicked off its chest dodging its swinging blade.
Two more blasts of her shotgun landed before my feet touched down. I launched back in slashing and hacking threw its body dogging away while Nora layed into it. Still no matter where she shot or I cut or stabbed the creature never fell. Even with half its head gone right arm removed and two of its tentacles severed.
Nora dropped back to reload as I lashed out threw a spin cutting threw its neck and arm which fell to the ground with a thud. It had no more defenses but I was also almost out of magic. So I grabbed what remained of its chest poring 20 points of SP into it before kicking it with a power strike sending it crashing again the window. The glass barely held but shattered under the power of a 12gage blast. As it tumbled out into the air I let the thing explode. It shook the entire building and do to how much energy I'd spent I feel to a knee.
My only conformation it was dead was the level up notification.

I just got dragons in my Demi plain. Well hope their nicer then that green bastard or tastes just as good.
Zoe had passed out from I'm guessing how amazing I was killing that thing. So me and Nora decided to take her with us as we left. Their was no point in leaving her here her world was a hell scape and her friends where dead. Thier was no reason to just make her suffer and die here alone. So we took her and left.
As soon as we crossed into the dungeon Talon was thier sitting infront a small pile of coins that where black and white. "Wow that's a lot more then I was expecting." I put the pile in the pocket domain and got back that it was 12 coins in total. "Your such a good boy! Let's go home and rest I roll them while you talk to her."
"Sounds fine. I'm sure she'd like a hot bath." And that's how Zoe came to live with us.
