"Sir What would you like to drink" the waitress asked me in her polite mannerism. She was young and still blooming into a beautiful flower. But that was all from Zeon's eyes.
"I would like a Hessel" well that was the only item in the menu, i was most familiar with. And as for the item itself, it was similar to water for the human tongue.
"And Only Hessel i suppose?" she definitely smiled, she did? Na i was definitely dreaming about it. i nodded slightly to affirm my order.
"please wait your hessel will be ready in no time" with that she turned to others, for taking their order.
'its funny how even the 'water' is being prepared' but then zeonion's water was indeed different from your usual, clear, transparent, H20. It was reddish brown, translucent, jelly like liquid. Had no odour, it was tasteless to my tongue. Perhaps a human tongue could taste something, well unless one is willing to ingest that alien matter. Most of what zeonion feed on was deadly poison to the human body so i would rather refrain from trying it if i were human, which i was not.
I was a zeon, an alien species, living on AzureSphere. AzureSphere, had the size of comparable to the sun of earth. A massive ball with gravity so strong that a human would be crushed to dust. We zeons, born on its surface had tough bodies, like a diamond. Even the diamond was weak compared to our thought meat.
A red colored body, Our outer appearance other than color and few other features was similar to that of humans. we had four limbs-two legs, two hand- attached to the torso. Of course a head was there on the top of it like humans. A rather gaunt body to be called though our average height was over 6 to 7 feet. Painted with red color, our bodies were like drowned in blood, leaving the impression of rage and anger. perhaps that was the reason why zeonion would rarely smile, very rarely.
"Sir, your Hessel" A male waiter, prolly the waitress's hubby. well I knew because they had some chemistry, the way they used to talk through their big purple-pink eyes. Not that I couldn't tell without seeing, after all i was a God.
"Thank you" politeness was the norm in zeonion, so i was bound to thank him. what a modest God indeed. well not really.
So what am I doing here? Ordering a Hessel- zeonian water- on AzureSphere. well there was no great reason to it, unfortunately. Guided by the memory fragments of my predecessor, The God of Fate. I found how he would visit this place, especially his friend, often in his Zeonian form. Maybe i wanted to know more about him so i decided to pay a visit to this cafe, named after that owner, Hosion's Hot Eats. The owner, his friend, was dead but the cafe was the same, changed less, taken over by his successors, like i had taken over his friend's legacy.
'finally feeling a little better, this Hessel is rather an energy drink' Zeon biology was rather a topic of its own Which i had no time to ponder right now as my time on this planet, this living realm was limited.
There were rules, norms a God was supposed to follow. One of them was the limited lease to roam around in the living world, without revealing your identity. Mess up the latter and you are done for-i'm serious really. As for the former you could lose your authority over various concepts of living. And i who recently achieved Godhood had no desire to break any of the norms.
With not much time left to space in the living realm, i decided to take my leave. Getting up to reach the counter, i then immediately created the glowing purple crystal in the pocket i had my hand in. Taking 2 crystals out of my pocket i placed them on the counter. Standing in front of me a young man-the owner-smiled through his eyes and before saying Politely "Please come again Sir" he took out the crystals from the counter.
Nodding slightly and then left the cafe.
'what a peculiar place where people smile not through mouth but eyes only' that thought was somewhat inevitable to come by. Well that wasn't the only thing peculiar here, really. The most interesting thing to ponder about was the sleep cycle of zeonion. They would work at night and sleep during the day. Like the kingdom of fools.
Walking under the veil of darkness that was shimmering with countless stars. with no pollution obscuring the sky and stars the sky was clear and deep. it was showing the even suitable details of almost all possible constellations. I was never into sky gazing but, this sky was heavenly.
"Wonderfull".
Adding to that heavenly feeling were the ten big moons. Positioned and moving in the shape of a ring, they were abnormally shining in a purple glow. It was no wonder why zeonian worshiped them because i would do the same with the presence they had in the dark heavenly sky, like a Godly figure with 10 eyes. A God worshiping another God… sighs what a modest God.
'modesty is the best policy-ha'
Pacing myself i finally reached the alley, away from the eyes of zeonians. Zeonian eyes, easy to guess, could see clearly in the night. So disappearing and leaving this form in an open place could cause the problem, according to the Godhood norms.
But as I was about to leave that human plane someone just landed behind me. Started, i turned around only to find a female zeon wearing a red cloak.
"Try to run and I'll pull the trigger" she said in her rough voice, holding a gun pointed at me.
I would surrender and ask for mercy if I were not God but then again i was a God. And I was sure a God can't die by the hands of a mere mortal of livin'.
But that wasn't the case as In livin' realm my authority was restricted because i wasn't the only God there to exist. Being the God of fate, I had authority over fate the most.
There were countless ways of this situation and countless penalty associated with many.
So i had to be careful for what I choose to do at this very moment.
And gladly it was the part of my plan. Luring her out of the shadows and then passing my judgement as a God. A great way to test and learn my authority.
"Guess you got a death wish huh" she raised her voice and clenched her gun, forcing the deadly pointers of that device at me.
"Why don't you show your face, I'm sure you're in your 70's" yeah I said that, mockingly. The intentions were to make her pull the trigger. No i wasn't suicidal I just onto something.
I could tell how furious she was hearing that remark as she almost pulled that triggers saying "this ain't a game b***h..."
"..Die".
The trigger was pulled and a spark of electricity manifested at the gun pointer. Followed by the electric sound the spark then instead of reaching me, travelled through the gun and reached her hands.
Her wide open eyes immediately closed, as she yelled in pain feeling the shock of electricity. Visible Tremors lasted not enough as she fainted and fell down.
No she wasn't dead, just conscious. The gun was rather a shock gun and so she had no intention to kill me to begin with.
'interesting so that' how my authority works' with that thought i meant how I rendered her unconscious by using my authority over fate.
In the Godly speech i commanded the very world of existence to balance out her karma
" [Her gun is malfunctioned] "
And so the universe listened to me like my child and rendered her gun malfunctioned. Which then turned against her only to bring the bad fate based on her karma.
karma? Yes karma. To be honest I never believed it existed or not but for your information, from this God, it is as real as it sounds.
