Chapter 2 - what if sherpard was raised by the predators

Commander Shepard Raised by the Predators (Yautja)

Background:

Shepard was found as an infant during a Yautja hunting expedition on a war-torn human colony, perhaps even a failed Cerberus experiment or a Reaper-probed world.

Instead of killing the infant, one elder Yautja sees potential—untapped strength, a survivor's spirit—and takes Shepard as a foundling.

The Yautja raise Shepard with their warrior code: honor in battle, survival of the strongest, the hunt as a rite of passage.

Shepard's Traits in this Version:

1. Physique & Gear:

Towering, scarred, lean but deadly. Wears modified Yautja armor with stealth tech and plasma weaponry.

Bio-mask with multi-vision (thermal, UV, tactical analysis).

Uses a retractable wrist blade and shoulder plasma caster alongside human weapons.

2. Fighting Style:

Silent, brutal, methodical. Uses cloaking, traps, and hand-to-hand combat more than guns.

No mercy for dishonorable enemies, but great respect for worthy opponents.

3. Personality:

Stoic, barely speaks unless necessary. Communicates through body language and growls (Yautja tongue).

Understands human customs but doesn't fully relate to them. A true outsider.

4. Morality:

Operates on a strict warrior's code. Will spare a defeated foe if they fought well—but won't hesitate to kill the dishonorable or cowardly.

Sees the Reapers as the ultimate hunt. A worthy enemy.

Reactions from the Normandy Crew:

Garrus: "This guy's the real Archangel. Stealth, kill, vanish. Even I'm impressed."

Tali: Fascinated but a little terrified. Tries to reverse-engineer Yautja tech.

Liara: Intrigued by Shepard's alien upbringing—sees him as a living bridge between predator and prey.

Wrex/Grunt: "Finally, a real warrior. About time the humans produced someone worth fighting beside."

EDI: Struggles to quantify his decisions. Calls him "anomaly in moral programming."

---

Romance?

Most human romance options wouldn't even know how to approach him.

Alien romances might work better. Liara, maybe—drawn to his ancient soul and alien perspective.

Or a totally new character: a female Yautja huntress who considers him an equal.

---

Plot Twists:

Cerberus tries to reclaim Shepard as their "lost asset." Shepard sees them as dishonorable prey and hunts them.

Reapers recognize Shepard as a true apex predator—a rare anomaly. Harbinger calls him "The Hunter Who Hunts the End."

Final Mission: Shepard, cloaked and alone, infiltrates a Reaper to kill it from the inside.
