Episode 1 – Betrayed and Broken
Rain poured from the dark skies, drenching the grand courtyard of Starcrest Academy. Aeron stood at the center, alone. His uniform torn, his bag at his feet. The once-cheering crowds of classmates now whispered and pointed fingers.
"Expelled for theft and cheating," the Head Instructor had said coldly.
Aeron's eyes darted between the faces—some curious, some smug. But none more painful than those of his adopted brother, Riven, and his closest friends. Riven's smirk cut deeper than any sword.
"You really thought someone like you belonged here?" Riven whispered as he passed by.
Aeron clenched his fists. He hadn't done it. The accusations were false. Planted scrolls. Forged documents. But no one had listened. The academy's judgment was swift.
"Take your things and leave before sunset," the guard had told him.
By nightfall, Aeron was walking the empty road away from the academy. His heart was heavy, not just from betrayal, but from confusion. Who was he really? Why did he feel so… different?
As the cold wind brushed his face, he stumbled and fell to his knees, gripping his head. Flashes of unfamiliar memories surged through his mind—massive machines, glowing panels, a world unlike this one. People called him 'Creator.' He saw a city made of glass and light, and a voice, mechanical yet familiar, echoed.
> [SYSTEM BOOTING...] [Identity Match: 89%... 100% Confirmed] [Welcome Back, Creator]
His eyes widened.
> [Initiating Memory Sync...] [Partial Abilities Unlocked] [Survival Protocols Installed]
He gasped for breath, trembling. A translucent blue screen floated before him. No one else could see it.
"I... I remember," he whispered.
Aeron wasn't just a boy abandoned in this world. He was someone important. Someone from another world. Someone who had created this system—before dying in that life.
"I was betrayed again... even here."
The system beeped.
> [Objective Updated: Survive, Adapt, Rise Again.]
He stood, soaked and shivering, but with fire in his eyes.
"I won't be broken."
With nothing but the clothes on his back and the system in his mind, Aeron began walking—towards the distant, forbidden mountains. Toward the place feared by all.
His new journey had begun.
