Chapter 1 - New Game Plus: Baker by Day, Demon Slayer by Night

When I woke up in a foreign bed, wrapped in scratchy old sheets and breathing in the smell of wood smoke and freshly baked bread, I didn't panic.

Not right away, at least.

It took exactly 2.4 seconds for me to sit up, hit my head on the wooden bunk above, and realise I wasn't in my room. I wasn't in my house. Hell, I wasn't even in my world.

[SYSTEM BOOTING...]

[Welcome, Player.]

[You have entered the world: Resident Evil – Village Edition.]

[Time: T-minus 7 days before Main Event Trigger.]

[Difficulty: NIGHTMARE+]

[System: FULL GAMER SYSTEM – Version: Godmode Glitch Edition]

[Skill: Training Room (Dimensional Time Ratio 1:2,600,000 unlocked.)]

[Perk: Inventory unlocked.]

[Hidden Class: ??? Unlocked.]

Oh yeah. I had officially transmigrated.

And not just anywhere—I'd landed myself in Resident Evil: Village. The one with creepy werewolves, vampy mommy Dimitrescu, psycho puppet girls, and... wait. This is the one with the baby-eating horror house too, isn't it?

Great. Just great.

The place I woke up in turned out to be a rustic bakery on the edge of the village. Apparently, I'd inherited it from some "great-aunt" I'd never heard of. Classic transmigration setup. The townspeople already knew me. Or, more like, they knew her. I was just cosplaying now.

In the mornings, I sold bread. Rustic rye, potato loaves, and even sugar cookies are shaped like little wolves. I smiled, I laughed, I blended in. A normal baker girl. Totally not someone with a god-tier system training with anime characters at night.

The villagers were already acting... off. There was this tense fear under their skin, like animals that smelled a storm coming. Whispers. Locked doors. Crosses everywhere. Someone mentioned Heisenberg as if he were Voldemort.

But me? I was chilling.

Because at night?

I trained. Hard.

[Training Room Initialised.]

[Time Ratio Set: 1 Month = 0.01 Second in Real Time.]

[Simulation: BEGIN.]

The room was infinitely white. It shifted with my will. My heartbeat quickened as the first opponent formed in front of me.

[Opponent 001: Rock Lee (Weighted). Difficulty: Low.]

I laughed. Oh? Starting from the basics? Let's go, sensei.

He kicked me through a wall.

Twice.

By the fifth attempt, I dodged his Leaf Hurricane. By the eighth, I countered. By the fiftieth, I swept his legs and smashed a chakra-enhanced punch into his chest.

[LEVEL UP.]

[New Passive Skill Learned: Reflex Boost I.]

[New Active Skill Learned: Flowstep.]

I grinned.

The system made sure I wasn't just button-mashing. I learned why things worked. My body adapted. My mind sharpened. I had menus, stats, and cooldowns. My build was mine to choose.

By the end of that first night, I'd fought Zoro, Killua, and even Deku in full-cowl mode. And when I stepped out into the real world?

Only 0.2 seconds had passed.

I had a month of training in my bones. Muscles I never had before. Skills people here wouldn't even dream of.

I woke up to my alarm bell (an actual bell, no electricity), tied my apron, and served bread to Mrs. Vasilia who kept muttering about "the signs in the sky." I smiled, nodded politely, and handed her her baguette.

Inside, my mind was calculating.

7 days.

7 days until hell breaks loose in this village.

7 days until Ethan Winters shows up.

7 days until monsters crawl out from the shadows and start picking people off like cookies on a tray.

But this time, it wouldn't go the same way.

This time, I was here.

And I wasn't just a player anymore.

I was the one running the damn system.

Let's see who survives this game now.
