Before he knew it he had been called to the middle of the school inside the building along with several other students 25 to be exact. The middle of it looked like some kind of altar or sacrifice looking thing afterall the school didn't look normal anyway but it only emphasized the weirdness.It was all the students he would appearently have to battle to the death against. The extreme severity of the situation was truly setting in. It was setting in into his skin like mud on a shoe or centipedes on concrete his face had become completely red with angst almost like he was about to throw up realizing the actual things he might have to do to other students around him."hey are you okay? Is everything alright" said Liz right next to him next to her he was able to forget about all his problems she was his scapegoat in a sense but it shouldn't be looked at like that in a positive manner he thought to himself.
"Yeah I'm fine I'll be fine." Said shinya trying to get himself back up mentally and physically, while zoid just stared at him like a bug he would make zoid see him different he would he promised it to himself. Suddenly something popped out from thin air "Ehhhh is this mic working!!! Hello peasants and humans!!! I'm your announcer for the preliminaries you can call me a special being I'm higher then you regular humans I'm sort of like a fairy or a human with just better stats so you all are nothing to me Lula the great!! oh- uh well this isn't about me it's about you all!!! You all don't see it now but this is actually an elevator and you will go down and pick your weapon of choice you pick your poison kids!! Like a snakeee get to slitherin!!! We also will have all this streamed on tv for the common people across all continents obviously!!" Said the announcer. Shinya couldn't even believe his eyes at what he was seeing it was a creature of average height with wings and sunglasses on and multiple arms with a big chest and pale white skin what was this creature?
Though did he hear her right he was going to be dropped in this place the preliminaries after picking his weapon and this would be streamed to everyone around!?! That means his family would see this literally everyone would this is insane who thinks of something like this this is ridiculous!! This situation just kept getting crazier and crazier even to his suprise the people around him other students had faces of despair, scared, confused, lonely, depressed, defeated,anger,scorth every emotion possible was going through everyone's mind this was a a situation afterall we put ourselves in we took that test voluntarily and now we suffer the consequences.
With sweat going down his face shinyas big body it's like his body was trying to get rid of impurities his mind was all over the place scattered but every time it was Liz brought him back to normality he swore he would be the rock for her to lean on now! Thought shinya " hey Liz!! We're going to pick some good weapons and get through this together you understand me right? Hey look at me everything is going to be alright just think about the great ice cream we'll have with my sister after this okay." Said shinya trying to comfort the scared look that Liz was hiding but he could tell was in her face afterall he knew her for years he could tell what she was hiding afterall he wasn't dumb.
With his heart basically engaged right now he needed to focus with his mind only then did the middle of the floor completely move sounds that sounded like heavy machinery moving and chains unlocking as the middle area with all the students on light up with the lights underneath only for them to get teleported? Was the simplest way to explain what shinya thought to himself he wasn't quite sure what happened but before he knew it he was in a white room filled with nothing but medieval and modern advancement tools and guns and other mechanics that could be classified as weapons. This was it it was time for him to choose.
