Rowan was just relaxing in his living room watching TV when suddenly a portal opened. Out of the portal came a man in a red and black suit with two katanas on his back. Rowan widened his eyes, recognizing the man as Deadpool.
Deadpool looked at Rowan and said, "Come with me. The fate of the multiverse or something—I don't know. Just get in the fucking portal."
But before Rowan could speak or react, out of nowhere, Sora flew into the room and drop-kicked Deadpool back into the portal, slamming it closed behind him. She then pulled up the system interface, scrolled through a massive list of names, found Deadpool's, and then put a lock next to his name.
Rowan said, "What did you just do?"
She said, "I locked him out. Now not even the author can bring him back into the series."
Then Rowan said, "What author? What series? What the fuck?"
Sora said, "Shhhh," and patted Rowan's head, saying, "The less you know the better. Now just pretend none of this ever happened. It was a bad dream. We'll never see him again. That's the point. He's gone forever and there's nothing he can do about that."
Suddenly, the TV changed channels and Deadpool appeared on the screen saying, "Or is there?"
Then both Sora and Rowan screamed.
Then Rowan woke up and said, "Oh thank Don it was just a dream."
Then he rolled over and saw Deadpool laying in the bed, propping his head up on his arm.
"Or was it?" he shouted in Rowan's face.
And Rowan screamed again.
Then he woke up for real this time and said, "Okay. Please tell me this isn't a dream too."
He heard Sora shouting, "Go the fuck back to sleep! It's too early for this bullshit!"
Rowan said, "Sorry, I just had a nightmare that Deadpool found his way here."
Next thing he knew, he heard loud scrambling, and then Sora and Bancho burst into his room. Both pulled out a comically large cross, and Sora started shouting, "The power of non-canon writing compels you!"
While freaking out, Rowan saw that in the corner they were staring at, some fake wallpaper fell down. Behind it was Deadpool, shrinking in fear and shouting, "No, you can't do this to me!"
Behind him, Sora opened a portal and this time more forcefully shouted, "The power of non-canon compels you! Begone from this world, demon! The author casts you out, never to appear again!"
And as he fell through the portal—just before it closed—he shouted, "I'll be back! That scatterbrained author and his even more scatterbrained co-author will make me canon eventually! You'll seeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
And just like that, the portal was closed, and Deadpool was gone.
Sora looked at Rowan with tired eyes and said, "Go back to sleep, Rowan."
As she and Bancho left the room, Rowan said, "Seriously, what the fuck do you people mean by author?"
