Title: Is That True?
Episode 3 – "The Secret Drawer"
Scene opens in the school library. Vanni is searching for a book, her mind still distracted by the strange tension between her and Naitik.
Vanni (thinking):
Why does Naitik act so normal around others, but so distant around me? Or... is it just my imagination?
She picks up a book and a paper slips out. It's a sketch. Of her. Signed "N". Her eyes widen.
Vanni:
"This is... me? But who drew this?"
She quickly hides the sketch in her bag. Just then, Shreya enters.
Shreya:
"Hey! We have to leave for art class. You coming?"
Vanni:
"Yeah, coming..."
Cut to art class. Everyone is painting. Naitik is quietly sketching in his corner. Raj, Naitik's close friend, notices Vanni glancing at Naitik.
Raj (whispering):
"You like him, don't you?"
Vanni (startled):
"What? No! I was just—"
Raj (grinning):
"Relax. But if you do... be careful. Nari won't like it."
Cue dramatic music. Scene changes to the school corridor. Vanni is about to leave when she hears a loud thud from the art room. She runs back and sees Naitik picking up scattered papers from a broken drawer.
One sketch flutters near her feet. Another sketch of her.
Vanni (shocked):
"Naitik... why do you keep drawing me?"
Naitik freezes, looking guilty. He doesn't answer.
Naitik:
"I didn't want you to know. Not like this."
Vanni:
"But why? What's going on, Naitik?"
Naitik (quietly):
"Because someone told me you already liked someone else..."
Vanni looks confused.
Vanni:
"Who told you that?"
Naitik looks away. Flashback shows Nari whispering something to him earlier.
End Scene.
