A 14-year-old boy, Maverick with white hair, sharply defined facial features, a well-sculpted physique, broad shoulders, long, powerful legs with muscular arms, towering a height of 2.3 m, sat on a rough-looking rock and stared at the sea. On his side, a sword, 95cm long, that is diluted with blood. Corpses of many dinosaur-like creatures littered everywhere near the shore. You can even see some sea beasts' rotten bodies.

Looking at his status, Maverick thought:
"From Daily exercise, I got 22 points in Strength, 20 in Agility, 24 in Vitality, and 11 in Intelligence. As for levels, it started increasing once I started hunting inland species and sea beasts. Each species gave a different experience. Small ones hardly gave around 10 experience points, as for intermediate level species like sea beasts, some carnivores, they gave around 50 experience points. Once the experience bar is full, the level is upgraded by 1. For every level, I am getting 3 attribute points free, with a total of 46 levels, which concludes at 135. Out of 135, I already distributed evenly to all my stats, and the remaining 35 can be used for emergency".
"The system is really something. I didn't even have to look for the Devil Fruit encyclopedia, as soon as I kept the Devil Fruit inside the pocket dimension, it would automatically register its true name on the screen."
He also found the formula for how health points and experience points are calculated.
Health points are nothing but the multiplication of vitality with a constant value of 50, as for experience points, it is the current level plus 1 multiplied by 1000.
Maverick started reminiscing about the things that happened during these 2 years.
He got a fine sword in one of the shipwrecks. When he stored it in the pocket dimension, automatically, the sword's name was registered in the system screen. Murasame, one of the 21 Great-Grade Blades.
With the help of Murasame, he started learning sword skills. The basic sword skills like slash, parry, block, thrust, footwork, and stance. Once he got the basics on these, he started practicing these skills on the island beasts while hunting.
He used his talent, Photo-Graphic Memory, amazingly. With the help of this, he can easily identify species, the route that he has taken previously. It's like these memories are embedded in his brain.
During one of his ventures on this unknown island, he came across a paramecia Devil Fruit, Cook-Cook Fruit, which he kept in his pocket dimension. So together, he has 2 devil fruits, one Standard Zoan Ox-Ox Fruit- Model: Camel, Paramecia Cook-Cook Fruit.
He has not eaten the devil fruits, even though he knew they would provide strength.
His goal is to find as much as devil fruits in this pirate world. He knew that around 10-15 % of the devil fruits are in the sea. So if he eats a devil fruit, then his chance of getting other devil fruits in the sea is close to 0%. In case he finds a devil fruit that enables him to swim, then he will gladly eat it.
Similarly, he started hunting the sea beasts. Usually, encountering sea kings in the South Sea is a rare scene. However, during his stay for 2 years, he had encountered sea kings 6 times. This is why his life skill swimming level became max. He also searched for any useful items in shipwrecks that sank at sea. He found around 600,000 berries and a couple of kilograms of gold. As for broken swords or other weapons, he completely ignored them.
He started cooking the species he hunted, not all. If the dead one is venomous, then he will simply ignore it. In this way, his cooking efficiency improved.
He also found a couple of clothes that were not used and had not gotten wet in the sea, which were tightly enclosed in metal chests.
The most wonderful thing that happened during these past 2 years' venture is the development of 2 Hakis. Observation: Haki and Conqueror's Haki.
Observation Haki was developed when Maverik encountered a terrible beast in the core area of the island. The beast was around 35 meters tall. This beast triggered a beast tide due to its ferocity. During the escape from this predator, along with other beasts that are running due to fear, Maverick started getting used to Danger's senses. With the help of this, he started practicing the observation haki. This has also helped him to improve his Running skills.
As for Conqueror's Haki, it was unconsciously released when several beasts tried to gang up on him during one of his hunts. So after this, Maverick started similarly practicing his Conqueror's Haki, but even though he was reckless, he was cautioned. He doesn't want to upset the beasts of the core area.
During these 2 years, not even one human presence was found on this island or nearby sea.
With this thought, Maverick decided to move to other islands in search of human activity or devil fruits.
With the help of a small boat, which he constructed using available wood and metal pieces, which improved his shipwright skill, he started his journey to the 2nd Island in the hope of a better adventure.
The small boat with a 14-year-old boy started their new adventure in search of the new island.
Soon, 3 days passed. During these 3 days, Maverick was either hunting the sea beast that eyed his small boat or going fishing. He also practiced his observation haki to find any ships or islands.
Soon, a ship with a pirate flag appeared in sight. When the ship came close to his sight, he saw the pirate flag had a Skull where 2 big nails embedded on the sides like swords. With his observation, he found the ship was in party mode. Someone was singing, some were dancing. Others were laughing along with alcoholic drinks. He found some boys around 7 to 8 years old doing the cleaning on one side of the ship. He also sensed around 6-7 people's presence below the ship deck, who were not moving at all. If he didn't find the breathing, he could have thought they were corpses.
When the small boat came near the pirate ship, the ship's crew members also spotted Maverick. But unlike other pirates, who will shout at others, the crew members were very polite. They asked him to board the ship and enjoy the party with them.
"Welcome, fellow adventurer. We are Bone-Chill Pirates, please stay in this ship and enjoy the party hosted by us." said the captain of the pirate ship.
All the pirate crews were enthusiastic on my arrival.
They were drinks, meat, and snacks. Although he was a teenager, when it came to drinking, no one would stoop low. With observation haki on full mode, Maverick took a jug full of beer, started drinking. After emptying the full jug, he sensed the meat. As a cook by himself, he has eaten many meats over the past 2 years. But when he checked the meat on the table, he sensed something different.
Meanwhile, some of the sober pirates tried to fetch their weapons when Maverik started drinking. These all also observed by Maverick.
Now Maverick connected the dots. Those meats are of humans. These pirate pigs practice cannibalism. The presence he sensed in the basement was the slaves these pigs captured to eat.
With this thought, anger boiled in Maverick.

Without any delay, he started the massacre on the ship. All the pirates, whether sober ones or the drunk pirate or the one who is dancing, all faced Mavericks' anger.
After a couple of minutes, only 3-4 boys who were doing the chores, and 5-6 people he felt in under basement were alive. The rest were scattered around the ship like broken dolls. Some bodies' legs are missing, some's hands, some don't have a head. Some were split equally in the middle.
After a couple of hours, the entire deck was cleaned by those boys, and the people who were enslaved in the basement were set free.
After understanding the background of these people, one of the enslaved people was the navigator on a previous merchant ship. With his help, the pirate ship neared the island of Sorbet Kingdom.
