"Oh boy, Kami, I'm sick of your crap—you know that?" Tongue Scraper shouted.
"Tongue Scraper" was the name given to one of Aamon's generals—Aamon, the Arch Devil.
"Look, Scrape, I get it—you demons and my angels don't exactly get along. But can't you see I come in peace? Look, I even showed up alone."
"I feel like this guy is tricking us!" a demon shouted.
"Yeah!" another demon chimed in.
"How do we know you're not lyin'?" Tongue Scraper asked skeptically, twiddling his claws.
Kami raised his arms. "I have no weapon. There's no need to fear. All I ask is for peace across the universe—while it's still unified."
"Yeah, but what's in it for me and my crew, eh?" Aamon said with a sly grin.
"I'll give you the sacred treasure of the Upper World," Kami replied, extending his hand to seal the deal.
Aamon clasped Kami's hand, locking it in a firm handshake. The crowd of demons erupted in excitement.
"Yeah, this guy Kami's a fool! Haha!" Aamon boasted.
Tongue Scraper placed a hand on Aamon's shoulder. "Whaddya think we'll find in the Upper World? Gold? Sacred armor? A whole planet?"
Aamon smirked and looked Tongue Scraper dead in the eye.
"Guess we'll find out soon enough."
The demons roared in celebration as they marched up the stairway to the world above.
"Kami, what were you thinking? Are you insane?" Michael, Kami's archangel, exclaimed.
Kami looked down at him and replied, "We've given them what they wanted. They should have no reason to trouble the people anymore."
Michael snapped back, "But we're talking about demons! You really trust—"
"Shhh," Kami interrupted. "I have faith in our sworn enemies. Without trust, this world will never survive."
Suddenly, the sky above the stars began to growl. GRRRRR.
"What did I tell you?" Michael said, disappointed.
A loud, grouchy voice echoed from the heavens. "Hahaha! Kami, you fool!" Aamon now stood tall like a skyscraper over the galaxy.
"Now I can finally defeat you and take over the universe!" he roared.
Kami met Aamon's words with a cold stare, but it had no effect.
"You really thought raising the white flag would end this war? Your ignorance amuses me," Aamon chuckled, grinning down at him.
Without a word, Kami walked toward Aamon in icy silence.
"Oh, so now your passive act is gone? I finally broke your pacifist shell," Aamon sneered.
Kami suddenly launched a swift jab at Aamon's abdomen. Aamon blocked it with his tail and attempted to knee-bash Kami's skull. Kami ducked and countered with an uppercut—it connected. Aamon flew through the stars.
Kami charged Spirit Power into his fist, preparing his signature move: Sunshine Fist. He gathered energy and delivered a devastating blow. The stars rippled and swayed. Some fell from the sky, exploding among the nearby demons.
Aamon vanished from Kami's sight.
"I didn't want to do this yet, but—AHHHHHH!!" Aamon cried out, drawing the ancient holy weapon hidden in the Upper World.
Kami noticed and flew toward him, battling for control over the weapon.
"Michael, protect the people below!" Kami shouted.
He pushed Aamon—and the weapon—farther into the universe. Their struggle continued, spirit power clashing violently.
Kami's energy surged. "AHHHHHH!!!"
A catastrophic explosion followed. Planets and galaxies fractured, expanding the universe. Kami had successfully created a pact, sealing the weapon within himself, Aamon, and the other demons.
Thanks to Michael, only 95% of the population perished—instead of all.
The stars aligned once more. New planets awaited discovery.
