Hello readers.
Let's begin.

Sun was rising like a bright day but was it even a bright day? Mumbai is beautiful, isn't it?
Mumbai is shining like a diamond in just starting of a day. the streets of Mumbai are well cleaned, and they are shining with the sun rays. As the sun rises over Mumbai, golden light spills over the city, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. The streets slowly come to life—vendors set up their stalls, morning walkers fill the parks, and the aroma of fresh chai drifts through the air. Stray dogs stretch lazily, crows caw from rooftops, and the local trains begin their rhythmic dance, carrying millions to work. The city hums with energy, a perfect blend of chaos and beauty, ready to embrace another day.
as the day was starting, we all noticed only good side of Mumbai but here it is.
The sun rises over a quiet, worn-out town, its golden rays struggling to brighten the cracked roads and faded buildings. Stray dogs and cows roam freely, searching for scraps, while a few early risers step out, their faces weary from yesterday's struggles. The air is heavy, carrying the scent of damp earth and burning wood. Children with sleepy eyes walk barefoot to school, while workers begin their long journey, some on old bicycles, others on foot. Life moves slower here—less shine, more survival—but the sun still rises, offering a new day, a new hope.
wake up to the reality. Mumbai didn't bring happiness and gloomy days for everyone. this is me and my life after being transfer here because of my so-called parents but I don't belong here, and I will make my own name and fame.
Arohi.
AROHI POV
I closed my dairy and saw the outside of my house where sun was rising up and saw how sun rays were facing a difficulty to reach here. one day I will see the sun rays from other side where it will be beautiful not this shit. I closed the curtains back because i like to live in dark as it's my comfort sometimes. i grab my towel from side wall hook and my shampoo from another side small rack for equipment. i went inside washroom and start filling the bucket of water. i slide my clothes from my shoulder and seated and start bathing. Within five minutes i came out of my room while towel was on my body wrapped. Fastly i slide inside of my lower and t-shirt. i left my hairs open to dry and came downstairs. There was no smile or nothing on my face and as i know everyone is sleeping till now. i don't like to see them but i tolerate them every day because they give me roof to live and i just can't forget that. i open bridge and took bread and cut salad and eat it and leave outside as i have some work and that work is walking.
i was walking and seeing another side of road. just one step away and i will be in good side of Mumbai but that world doesn't belong me until i didn't get it.
i saw in sky and start thinking who I'm
Arohi was a girl of quiet strength, wrapped in softness. Her round, chubby face, like a panda's, carried an innocence that masked the storm inside her. Her deep brown eyes held unspoken words; secrets she dared not share. Her black shoulder-length hair framed her face in gentle waves, contrasting against her warm brown skin that glowed even under the harshest of lights.
But in the house, she called home, warmth was a stranger. Her stepparents never let her forget she wasn't theirs by blood. Every glance was filled with cold indifference, every word laced with hidden thorns. They fed her, clothed her, but love was never on the menu. Tasks were assigned to her like a servant, while their own children lived without burden. No matter how much she tried, no matter how much love she gave, she was always just "the girl they took in."
i was staring at the sky when i realized i was late. I run back to house and enter while panting heavily. "Where the fuck you were"- Abhay asked.
"Plotting my escape. You'll miss me when I'm gone. Or maybe not, but who cares?" - i said with smirk and left while he was throw a glass over me but i dodge because now, I'm used to this shit.
"You should get ready because in night you are going to be sold"- he replied in same smirk but irritable look which i can say by confidence without looking at him but wait what he said sell?
"I feel bad for them. They have no idea what storm they're buying and one more thing"- i turned and look at him and said -""Even if you throw me away, I'll make sure my name haunts you forever." i left from there and enter in my room or i say just by luck room. i locked the door my tears were not even nearby to fall from my eyes. i think and the only way i got was my boyfriend. i changed my clothes in plane Kurti and jeans and took my purse and left to meet him. he is not poor but neither rich and i don't care he is rich or not he likes me that's enough. this sold session is going to failed badly because I'm running away. i left the house without coming in eyes and it was easy as cheap. "I hope they sleep well tonight. It's their last peaceful night before they realize I'm gone."- she thought and smirks. She moves like a ghost, slipping past the doors, the hallways that once caged her. The outside air hits her skin like freedom, and she smirks. Somewhere out there, he is waiting. And once she reaches him? There's no looking back.
i took a taxi and went his apartment and i was about to knock and i saw the door was opened and i planned to Suprise him. i sneak inside. she walked to his bedroom and freezes at the doorway, the breath knocked out of her chest. Her heart, which had been racing with excitement moments ago, now feels like it's cracking apart. Her boyfriend—her escape, her hope—now tangled with the very person she called sister. "I escaped one hell, only to walk into another."- she thought and opened the door widely and his boyfriend saw her on door while her sister also saw her. there were not guilty on their face. Arohi steps inside, the air suddenly feeling too thick to breathe. Her chest tightens, her hands shake, but her face? It stays unreadable—except for her eyes. Eyes that once held love, now drowning in betrayal.
She lets out a hollow laugh, her voice barely above a whisper but sharp enough to cut.
"I ran through hell just to find the devil waiting for me."
Her gaze shifts between them—her boyfriend, the one she trusted, and her sister, the one she thought was family. Her lips tremble, but she forces them into a bitter smile.
"Tell me... was I just the last to know? Or did you enjoy watching me be the fool?"
Her voice cracks, but she refuses to cry. No, they don't get that part of her. She takes a deep breath, her heart shattering with every second, but her next words? They burn.
"I was ready to give you my whole life. Turns out, you weren't even worth a goodbye."
She turns to leave when her boyfriend holds her hand.
"Now go ahead, storm out. But deep down, we both know—no matter where you run, you'll always be second choice."- he said and arohi stormed her hand and slapped him hard and said-"Enjoy your little trash collection. I was aiming higher anyway."
Then, without another glance, she turns and walks away—not broken, not begging, just done. And the best part? He'll remember this moment forever. after saying this she left and walking through the roads as its mid 12 in morning and she is walking towards house.
Arohi clenches her fists, her heart a battlefield of pain and rage. Running away with him was never an option anymore. He was just another betrayal. Another lesson.
She looks back at the house—the place that never felt like home. If she stays, the humiliation, the pain, the torment will be worse than hell. But if she lets herself get sold? That's just another cage... one she might actually have a chance to escape from. "Better to be sold than to stay where I was already a prisoner." "They think they're getting rid of me? Good. They have no idea I'm using them to escape." She takes a deep breath, her mind already planning. Play along. Wait. And when the moment comes... make them regret ever thinking they could control me.
Arohi wasn't a victim anymore. She was a ticking bomb. And soon, they'd all learn that no one gets to decide her fate—except her.
she enters the house without getting notice by her parents again and she didn't care at all. she came inside and make a plan to get sold for now so they will not cause problem then to run away as being with them she knows every criminal runway. "They're handing me over to someone else. Perfect. A new place. New people. More mistakes for them to make. time to enter golden era " she smirked and sleep while thinking whom they sold her as she didn't go to scared as she is the criminal here now not a victim.
