It feels so good when you close your eyes. You don't wanna open them again, 'cause you simply don't wanna see the things that would definitely push and prompt you to sit up and stand up to get something worthwhile doing. You don't actually want anything or anyone to disturb your peaceful moment of relaxation. Let the cool morning breeze blow over your body and let the sound of sweet music keep you down on your soft bed, or better still, let the blanket keep you warm inside, while you dream about adventures and aspirations.
Wouldn't that be a great moment? Of course it would be. It's like lying down still in a paradise of calmness and coolness, right? Just that you would eventually open your eyes to discover how much of your precious time you have wasted doing nothing but dreaming.
"Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. (Isaiah 52:1)"
It takes discipline to get yourself out of the bed. How many times, after waking up in the morning, did you wish the night could start all over again? I guess almost every morning, right? It happens to me a lot.
