Chapter 11 - One Kick to Rule Them All

"Whoosh!"

Nobody knew how long it took,

but Jerry's mother finally snapped out of her daze.

And then—

seeing the mountain of cash again—

she leapt up in a panic, rushing toward the front door.

"Mom, what are you doing?"

Jerry chuckled behind her.

"Double checking the door!"

Mother snapped.

"I'm not about to let someone peek in and get any ideas about our fortune!"

Dad, ever the quiet one, chimed in dryly:

"Your mom's just worried someone will steal the money."

Once she was sure the door was properly locked and the coast was clear,

Mother came back, still staring at the pile of cash like it might grow legs and run away.

Her hands couldn't stop brushing over the crisp banknotes, again and again.

Finally, swallowing hard,

she whispered:

"Jerry...

Are you sure all this came from selling those useless wild weeds?"

Jerry laughed softly:

"If you don't believe me, ask Dad.

He saw it all himself."

Dad—

faithful husband and professional wife-fearer—

nodded like a bobblehead:

"Every word he says is true.

We sold the weeds, and the buyers paid cash.

I watched it all with my own eyes."

Mother's heart finally settled.

Then she beamed, grabbing Jerry's hand proudly:

"My son really is incredible!

Making garbage into gold—

who else could have thought of that?"

Jerry just smiled.

He knew it wasn't real genius—

he simply had the advantage of having lived another lifetime.

After some more discussion,

Jerry laid out the next phase of the plan.

He handed over 10,000 yuan for buying more wild greens.

The rest—over 60,000 yuan—he packed carefully into a bag.

He intended to deposit it at the city bank to prepare for the second step of his empire-building.

(Transition to city scenes...)

Back in Naxi City,

Jerry inhaled deeply.

"Cities... They're where real men are made."

He stretched, feeling his ambition rekindled.

"This city...

won't know what hit it."

Jerry didn't rush back to campus.

Instead, he tracked down the only pet shop in town after hours of walking—

a tiny storefront that looked ready to fold any day.

Inside, he met Olivia—

a striking beauty and a future queen in the making.

After a short conversation,

Jerry realized she had vision and guts.

But she also had no capital,

no customers,

and no chance of surviving long enough to see her dreams realized.

He didn't bother asking for her number.

Instead, he left his.

Because Jerry knew—

when the time came,

Olivia would come to him.

Plant the seeds, wait for harvest.

Classic Jerry.

Back at the university dorms...

Click click...

Jerry frowned.

His key wouldn't turn.

The door was jammed shut.

From inside, he could hear the snickering.

"Heh... looks like the country bumpkin's back."

Jerry's eyes narrowed.

So... Shaun and his goons think they can mess with me again?

He spoke calmly:

"Shaun. I know you're in there."

The hallway quickly filled with students.

Everyone knew about the grudge between Jerry and Shaun.

Everyone smelled drama.

A snide voice answered from inside:

"Who the hell are you talking to? Maybe you're lost, hick?"

Jerry didn't waste time.

"I'll count to three.

Open the door, or deal with the consequences."

Inside, Shaun laughed mockingly.

"Oh-ho, big words!

Come on then, show me what you got!"

Jerry counted softly:

"One..."

"Two..."

"Three."

BAM!

With a single savage spinning kick,

Jerry exploded the dorm door right off its hinges.

Gasps filled the hallway.

The bystanders gaped, slack-jawed.

This guy...

is nuts!

But Jerry wasn't finished.

Grabbing the nearest broom,

he stormed into the room like a demon.

"I warned you,"

he said coolly.

And then—

WHACK!

THWACK!

CRASH!

Jerry single-handedly beat five dudes into a screaming, stumbling mess.

Shaun and his crew fled down the hallway, faces bruised, arms flailing.

The onlookers backed away in fear.

No one dared look Jerry in the eye.

At St. Huadun University—

a place full of bookworms and nerds—

someone like Jerry,

who kicked down doors and beat up bullies,

was practically a mythical creature.

He didn't even break a sweat.

Half an hour later,

Jerry was unpacking his stuff when there was a soft knock at the door.

It was Jenny—the beautiful advisor.

"You actually kicked down your dorm door?"

She stared, half amused, half exasperated.

Jerry just shrugged.

"They must've snitched to you already, huh?"

Jenny chuckled.

Sitting down gracefully, her long legs peeking from under her skirt, she said:

"I'm not here to scold you.

Honestly, knowing Shaun,

he probably deserved it."

Jerry tilted his head, amused.

He discreetly pulled up her info panel:

Jenny: Beauty 96 | Has boyfriend | Cheating chance: 40% (original 5%) | Weakness: Obsessed with food. Exploit weakness → 100% cheating chance.

He blinked.

Last time, her cheating chance was only 5%.

Now it had jumped to 40%?

Was it... because I promised to bring her snacks from my hometown?

Damn. This food weakness is insane.

Thinking quickly,

Jerry pulled out a gift basket.

"By the way, Jenny,

this is for you—fresh wax apples from my hometown."

Jenny's eyes lit up like stars.

Instantly, Jerry saw her cheating chance spike again.

From 40% to 55%.

Confirmed.

Exploiting her sweet tooth is 100% effective.

He grinned inwardly.

The real game was only just beginning.
