The smoke from the intense duel finally began to dissipate, revealing two figures standing protectively in front of Leon. Lucifer, Leon's uncle, stood tall and imposing,With his sword,Stopping Krone's Sword, who had been attacking Leon.
Beside Lucifer was Felix, his red hair a fiery halo in the fading light of the smoke. Felix's sword still glowed with a fiery Shine,and He too was blocking Krone's sword.
They both Blocked Krone's sword.
Krone took a step back, his eyes narrowing as he gazed at Lucifer. "Tch... Lucifer," he muttered, a mixture of surprise and respect in his voice. "Lucifer...He's a 10-star swordsman, a grandmaster beyond even the realm of swordmasters. I'm still just a 5-star swordsman. But if I run away now, I'll be a laughing stock!,and Madam will be Furious at me..."
His gaze shifted to Felix, and a cruel smile spread across his face. "At least I'll try to kill that red-haired bastard. He seems to be a low-ranking swordsman, an easy target." With a sudden burst of speed, Krone vanished from sight.
"Light steps," Leon whispered, his eyes tracking Krone's movement. But what Leon didn't say was that Krone was heading straight for Felix, and at an alarming speed.
In the blink of an eye, Krone appeared before Felix, his sword flashing in the dim light. But just as quickly, Felix vanished, leaving Krone to strike nothing but air. Both Krone and Lucifer were shocked, their faces twisted in surprise.
"He's not capable of harming Felix," Leon said calmly, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
Before anyone could react, Felix reappeared behind Krone, his sword pressed gently against the swordsman's neck. Krone's eyes widened as he realized the gravity of his situation.
"Oh no, I'm trapped," Krone thought to himself. "I can try to escape using Light Steps, but judging by the speed he dodged, he'll cut my neck before I even take a step." The fear was palpable in Krone's thoughts, and his voice trembled as he spoke aloud, "I... I surrender."
Felix withdrew his sword and Krone let out a
sigh.
Krone thought "He is Strong...I misjudged,He is stronger than me."
Then Krone approached Ruan, lifted him, and shouted, "Soldiers, let's go!"
One of the soldiers hesitated,He said "The document...."
but Krone firmly repeated, "I said let's go!"
The soldier said "Y..Yes sir!."
They promptly followed orders,and went out of the arena and Krone turned towards Leon.He said "Leon....The eruk territory belong to you."
Then Krone along wuth Ruan in his arms vanished.
As the commotion died down, Leon let out a sigh of relief. "At last, they went," he said, his voice calm once more.
Nox rushed towards Leon, concern etched on his face. "Are you okay?" he asked urgently.
Leon said through thoughts,"Yes, I'm fine." But his mind wondered, "Why is Nox so concerned about me?" Nox continued,
"That... that is because..." Nox Hesitated.
Leon's inner voice prompted, "Because?" Nox's confusion suddenly gave way to a realization. "I would've died along with you if you died!" he exclaimed.
Then Lucifer turned to Leon, concern etched on his face. "Are you okay, Leon? I came here as soon as I heard you were in a duel."
Leon, however, suddenly transformed, his face contorting into a cute, childlike visage. A wide, toothy grin spread across his face, and he looked up at Lucifer with sparkling eyes. "I'm okay, Uncle," he said, his voice dripping with innocence.
Nox, who had been watching the scene unfold, raised an eyebrow. "Why are you acting cute, Leon?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.
But Leon didn't respond aloud. Instead, he said to Nox,using his mind, "I have to act like it,Because I'm still a 5-year-old child in his eyes!." The dichotomy between his childlike appearance and his formidable skills was a secret only he knew.
With a mischievous glint in his eye, Leon exclaimed, "Uncle, I defeated Ruan!" Lucifer's eyes widened in shock, and he stared at Leon in awe. "Really?!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with pride and surprise.
Lucifer thought "When i first heared Leon was fighting in a duel,I thought Leon was forced into it..."
Then he patted Leon in his head and thought "But later i got to know that Leon was the one
who challenged Ruan.I thought he challenged Ruan because he was Humiliated by Ruan,and I was sure Leon would never win,and will get injured that is why i came here....But.."
Lucifer's face softened as he patted Leon's head,a gentle smile playing. But as he withdrew his hand and stood up, his happy expression transformed into Serious.
He pointed his sword at Felix, demanding, "Who are you?"
Then Felix replied, "I'm Lord Leon's servant."
Lucifer's brow furrowed. "Servant? What does that mean?"
Leon stepped forward, hesitating. "Yes... He is..."
Lucifer's eyes narrowed."He is?." He asked.
Suddenly, an idea struck Leon, and he declared, "He is my exclusive knight!" Lucifer's eyes widened in shock. "Exclusive knight?" he repeated, his voice laced with surprise.
Leon then Hugged Felix and said "This is my Exclusive knight!."
"Exclusive knight?." Asled Felix.
Leon pinched Felix,and Felix Understood Leon's intentions.Said "Yes,i am Lord Leon's Exclusive Knight."
Lucifer thought "This Person..He dodged that attack from Ruan's Exclusive Knight,Using not any technique but just His raw Physical Ability."
Then he continued to think "When i jumped from the top,to save Leon,I saw He was the first one to come Leon's Front and he deflected krone's attack Solo,and after him only i got in front of Leon."
Then Lucifer said to Leon "Is he really your exclusive Knight?."
Leon said "mm...yes!."
Then Lucifer asked "Where did you find him?."
"mm...That...I...I...I Found him in the forest!."
Lucifer's eyes narrowed, his face a picture of incredulity, as he turned to Felix. "What is your name?" he asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
"Felix," came the calm reply.
Lucifer said. "Do you want to protect Leon?" he demanded.
Felix's response was immediate. "Yes."
A calculating glint appeared in Lucifer's eyes. "I want to know if you're strong enough to protect him. I will test you; if you can pass the test, I will agree to you protecting Leon."
The air was thick with tension as Leon and Nox exchanged shocked glances. Nox's voice barely above a whisper. "Why is your uncle doing this?"
Leon shook his head, equally perplexed. "I don't know."
Felix, however, stood tall, his determination unwavering. "Of course, I will," he said, accepting the challenge without hesitation.
Leon couldn't help but feel a surge of worry. "Felix is a 9th rank swordmaster,But...but Lucifer is a 10th-rank swordsman! he thought, his mind racing with doubts.
Lucifer, meanwhile, Walked towards the ring of the arena, his sword pointed towards Felix. "Come to the ring!" he commanded.
As Felix began to walk towards the ring, Leon reached out, his hand grasping Felix's arm. "Felix, you don't have to do this," he said, his voice laced with concern.
Felix's smile was reassuring. "Don't worry, master. I will return safely."
With a nod, Felix continued towards the ring, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
