Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Rating Game Begins, Let Me Hog the Economy

"No problem rushing this?"

After seeing off Riser and Grayfia, Rias turned to Roy with a question.

"You just got that Longinus yesterday. Shouldn't we push for a few days to train?"

"Can we stretch it to a month?"

"Uh… pretty much impossible. We issued the challenge—ten days tops."

"Then it's all the same to me."

Roy answered straight.

With the entry system, Ddraig's powers were fully restored.

Unlocking Balance Breaker further? No sweat.

The real time-sink was purifying the Red Dragon Emperor souls to perfect Juggernaut Drive.

"Chill. I sized up that turkey during our chat."

"Forget me—even you've got a 60% shot at taking him now."

"…Good news, I guess, but did you just lowkey diss me too?"

Rias's expression twitched.

"Don't sweat the small stuff."

Roy waved it off casually, then eyed the blonde girl nearby.

"Asia, wanna get stronger?"

"Stronger?"

"Yeah, I can awaken people's potential."

Roy gave a quick rundown.

After hearing it, Asia nodded.

"Then please, Mr. Roy."

"We're teammates now—just Roy, no honorifics."

"Got it, Mr. Roy."

Rias: "…"

Watching Roy and Asia chat and laugh, Rias's face grew complicated.

Thinking back, yesterday Roy didn't just confess—he might've dropped a player vibe too.

Inviting Asia as her Bishop… did she just add a rival?

Click—!

The door swung open.

"President, I'm here."

"Morning."

"Rias, why so serious? Something happen again?"

Koneko, Akeno, and Kiba stepped into the Occult Research Club.

Normally, they didn't clock in mornings.

But with the Riser fight set, Rias called a meeting, texting them all to show.

"Three days from now? That's sudden."

Akeno blinked, surprised.

"My call. Honestly, three days feels slow—I wanted it done today."

Roy strolled over with Asia, her entry panel now active.

"Sounds like Roy's style."

Kiba's curiosity sparked. "That confidence—did you level up again?"

"Wanna test it?"

Roy summoned the Boosted Gear.

A month had passed since he last took down Kiba and the crew.

Time for a fresh entry harvest.

Three days later, around 11:40 PM.

Roy pushed open the door, slipping into the Occult Research Club just before the Rating Game kicked off.

Waving to the group, he glanced at the sofa.

A petite figure in a gothic lolita dress sipped tea, relaxed.

"Nayuki, what're you doing here?"

"I'm the club's advisor, aren't I? What's weird about that?"

Natsume Nayuki looked up, her answer catching him off guard.

"You're the advisor?"

Exchanging a look with Rias, who nodded confirmation, Roy fell silent—a rare moment.

What advisor skips the club for over a month? Talk about slacking.

"I've been tracking a dangerous group called the Chaos Brigade, so I've been too busy for club stuff."

Reading Roy's mind, Nayuki tossed out a casual explanation.

"Speaking of, I've heard about your recent moves. You set for today?"

"Obviously. Three minutes, max."

Roy flashed an OK sign.

"Three minutes? Better hit the spectator seats then—don't wanna miss your show."

Nayuki set down her cup, waved, and vanished with a flicker of spatial control.

"Back when you first returned to school, Nayuki asked me to look out for you," Rias mused, smiling as she watched her go.

"Thought it'd be a hassle, but you ended up looking out for me instead."

"No biggie. Your connections have netted me plenty too."

Roy meant it.

From Jujutsu High to meeting Mob Psycho's Shigeo Kageyama, Rias was his link.

Without her intel and fight opportunities, his entry farming would've tanked.

"Glad I could help."

Seeing Roy's sincerity, Rias smiled faintly.

A magic circle on the floor lit up, and Grayfia stepped out.

"Everyone, it's almost time."

"If you're ready, gather up."

Under Grayfia's lead, Roy and the crew stepped onto the circle.

A flash later, they appeared in a familiar room.

"Home field advantage?"

Roy smirked, sizing up the identical Occult Research Club.

"We're the challengers, sure, but as newbie devils not officially in the Rating Game scene, a little edge is fair," Rias explained.

[This is Grayfia, servant of House Gremory. I'll be refereeing this Rating Game between House Gremory and House Phenex.]

Grayfia's voice blared over the campus speakers.

Per protocol, she detailed the battlefield, base locations, and rules.

Finally, as she declared the game's start, the school bell rang out—ding-dong-dang-dong—signaling the kickoff.

"Time's up. I'm heading out."

Roy waved to the group and strode out the door.

The battle plan for this Rating Game? Set three days ago with Rias and the team.

Summed up: Let me hog the economy.
