(T/N: Mass release done, updating 2 epi starting tomorrow~)
The appearance of Shi Xiaolei led to some changes in Coulson's work arrangements.
By missing a certain moment in time, Coulson discovered a loophole that hadn't been noticed in the original storyline, allowing him to confirm earlier that Obadiah was the culprit.
Then, without Tony Stark even requesting it, Coulson proactively led a team to Stark Industries headquarters, arriving earlier to assist Pepper who had gone to steal information from the company, and brought her to a safe house.
Since Obadiah didn't target Pepper as an attack target, it was precisely because of these extra few minutes giving Stark time to think that the battlefield moved to Central Park where there were fewer people, rather than erupting in the busy downtown area as in the original storyline.
Then, because of Shi Xiaolei intervention, Iron Monger was quickly defeated.
Without falling into the Arc Reactor, without causing an explosion, and without the Iron Monger being completely destroyed.
These developments, different from the original storyline, caused even more chain reactions.
First, Obadiah wasn't dead, which meant Pepper needed to focus her energy on work—whether negotiations or hostile takeovers—to recover Obadiah portion of the shares, which would undoubtedly require considerable effort.
Second, the Arc Reactor in the building didn't explode, both combatants were hidden inside their armors without exposing their real identities, and the final battlefield was in Central Park, which diverted the public attention to some degree.
As a result, Stark Industries didn't become the focus of everyone attention in this incident.
This way, Stark Industries didn't need to hastily hold a press conference to stabilize its stock price as in the original storyline.
Lastly, Iron Monger was only damaged, not completely destroyed, just like the Mark 1 that Tony Stark had hammered out in the cave, the remains of Iron Monger also attracted the attention of both SHIELD and HYDRA.
To obtain this black technology that could significantly enhance individual combat capabilities, both sides made some arrangements.
In summary, Coulson didn't hover around Stark every day like a personal bodyguard as in the original storyline, and Nick Fury, affectionately nicknamed "Mother Faker" by fans, didn't immediately appear.
Without the need for a press conference and with fewer messy situations to deal with, Tony Stark, with plenty of free time, spent all his time in the laboratory, immediately immersing himself in his favorite research work.
"JARVIS, analysis results?"
After taking a shower, wearing a bathrobe and returning to the laboratory located beneath his mansion, Tony Stark casually took the coffee delivered by the robot Dum-E and took a sip.
"Tsk, what flavor is this? I really should dismantle you."
"Whirr~"
Dum-E sadly lowered its mechanical arm and retreated into the corner, privately nursing its wounded feelings.
"Sir, according to my analysis, the potion you provided contains seventy-six different components. Among them, thirty-seven can have their sources confirmed, thirty-two can have their compositions analyzed but their source materials cannot be determined. Additionally, there are seven components that do not exist in my database..."
As JARVIS responded, a semi-transparent projection interface appeared in front of Tony Stark.
Extending his empty left hand, he swiped through the air a few times, reviewing the list of components JARVIS had compiled, then clicked on those entries marked with question marks.
Stark continued speaking while operating the interface.
"Seven unknown components, huh... Well, looks like we have work to do. By the way, JARVIS, are the results of the biological clinical trials out yet?"
"Biu~"
With a sci-fi-like light sound, several new panels popped up.
A video was playing on the center panel. Meanwhile, JARVIS provided a detailed explanation.
"So far, we've completed analyzing the clinical effects of the red potion and white potion. The experiment on the black potion is still ongoing, with conclusions expected in three hours. Sir, what you're seeing now is the experimental process of the red potion. As you can see, this potion has extremely significant therapeutic effects on various mechanical injuries."
"Using this as a reference standard, the efficiency for treating temperature-related injuries is about 78%, the efficiency for treating pressure-related injuries is 84%, and the efficiency for treating radiation-related injuries is the poorest at only 65%."
"Hmm, continue."
"Comparing to existing medications for external injuries on the market."
"For a wound two centimeters long and half a centimeter deep, using the Marine Corps XXXX along with sutures would require at least three to five days to completely heal. But using the red potion, it only needs fifteen seconds to half a minute."
"Additionally, burns, frostbite, and acid burns of the same area also won't take more than a minute to heal completely."
The efficiency was many times faster—if this could be mass-produced.
"Looks like I need to spend some time catching up on biochemical medical courses."
Having just closed the weapons division and not yet thinking of ideas for energy development, it's no wonder Tony Stark had the idea of 'developing potions to make money' after receiving the potions from Shi Xiaolei.
"If you plan to launch a new pharmaceutical product, I personally recommend choosing the white potion."
"Hmm?"
Surprised by JARVIS suggestion, Tony raised an eyebrow.
"Why?"
"The red potion effect is to heal injuries, which doesn't have much appeal for people who aren't injured. The white potion is different—experiments have confirmed it can provide the user with extremely robust endurance without any side effects."
JARVIS explained.
"Whether it's construction workers, farmers, athletes, and other professions requiring physical exertion, or office workers, doctors, teachers, and other professions focused on mental work, they can all greatly improve their work efficiency by taking this potion."
"Compared to the red potion that only treats injuries, the white potion has a much wider range of applications. One could say that except for children and the elderly, everyone is a potential consumer."
JARVIS said quite a lot, but what truly registered with Tony Stark was just one part.
"Enhances endurance with no side effects? Are you sure?"
"Yes. All control group experimental results can prove this point."
"Wow, looks like this thing really has potential."
Stark couldn't help but whistle, his face showing a lewd smile.
"JARVIS, are there any left? Save one for me, I want to try it tonight."
"Seven were used during the experiment, three remain."
As JARVIS answered, a hole opened in the wall and a box was pushed out by a conveyor belt.
Dum-E, huddled in the corner, began to move, seemingly wanting to go get the box and bring it to Stark.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, stop right there, don't touch my treasure. Leave it there, I'll get it myself!"
Afraid that Dum-E might accidentally break the potion, Stark jumped up anxiously.
"Don't make me dismantle you, OK?"
