Chapter 31 - 31

Chapter Thirty-One: Foundations of a Kingdom

After completing the contract with Seloria, Crow wasted no time.

The other girls still lingered around him, some pouting, some glaring at each other, but Crow focused only on the task at hand.

He turned his sharp, commanding gaze to Seloria.

"I didn't buy you just for your beauty," he said bluntly.

"I need a Teleportation Array linked directly to the Sky Fortress."

Seloria's silver eyes gleamed in understanding.

"A permanent anchor point..." she murmured, already pulling out ancient rune stones from her spatial inventory.

"It will require rare materials, high-grade mana cores, and time to stabilize the array to something as massive as the Sky Fortress..."

She paused.

"But with your resources, Master, it can be done easily."

Crow nodded.

The Sky Fortress was enormous — practically a moving city — and having a permanent teleportation link would change everything.

It meant:

Instant return no matter how far he roamed. Rapid deployment of armies across the world. Unbreakable control over his growing territories.

If other players knew he had this option, they'd go mad with envy.

Even the top guilds in Crow's past life struggled for months to create a single long-distance teleport array.

And he was about to get one at Level 3.

Seloria moved fast.

She worked tirelessly, setting down rune anchors across the command platform:

Massive sigils carved deep into the floating stone Mana veins connected directly to the Sky Fortress Core Protection spells layered to prevent enemy interception

The ground around the teleportation zone began glowing faintly with gold and blue light, pulsing in time with Crow's heartbeat.

Within an hour, Seloria stood up, brushing silver dust from her robes.

"It's complete, Master."

[Teleportation Cooldown: 10 Minutes]

Crow stepped onto the glowing rune circle, testing it with a thought.

The magic hummed in response, fully synchronized with his aura.

Wherever he traveled —

wherever battles, ruins, treasures, or wars awaited —

he could now instantly return to his fortress in the sky.

This was no longer just a stronghold.

It was becoming a kingdom —

a mobile empire tethered directly to its emperor.

To Crow.

Behind him, the girls watched silently:

Seloria's lips curled into a rare, satisfied smile. Lyravex clung even closer, her eyes sparkling with admiration. Seraphina floated lazily, arms crossed, pretending she wasn't impressed (she was). Sasha simply nodded, as if approving her Master's foresight. Aeris stared at the array, whispering to herself, "Truly... unstoppable..."

Crow cracked his knuckles lazily, his black cloak rippling in the fortress winds.

The world didn't know it yet.

But it had already lost.

The empire of Crow had begun.
