"Nanaya, did you see that?"
"I saw it!"
"What the heck was that monster!?"
At Kurosaki Hospital, Kurosaki Ichigo couldn't hide his shock as he spoke to the boy in front of him.
What happened today completely changed the way he saw the world.
It turned out that the world wasn't just full of souls — there were terrifying, demon-like creatures too.
But unlike Ichigo, the boy named Nanaya wasn't scared when he saw the Menos Grande. Instead, he was excited.
Because for him, it meant the story was finally starting.
That's right.
Nanaya was a time traveler.
He had arrived in this world sixteen years ago.
At first, he thought it was just another world. But the day he spotted the horrifying figure of a Menos Grande, he realized the truth.
This was the world of the Shinigami.
After confirming it, he moved to Karakura Town six years ago and started living at Kurosaki Hospital.
Even though Karakura Town was full of spiritual activity, it was surprisingly peaceful.
For three whole years, he hadn't seen a single Hollow.
But today, everything changed.
While walking home from school, there was a sudden explosion on a busy street. Out of the smoke appeared a Menos Grande, tall and terrifying like a giant mantis.
Nanaya and Kurosaki Ichigo had been chased for a long time.
Along the way, they saw a girl standing high on a telephone pole — Rukia Kuchiki, wearing a Shinigami uniform. She easily defeated the Menos Grande with just one swing of her sword.
And just like that, the main story had finally begun.
After snapping out of his thoughts, Nanaya smiled and said:
"There's nothing to be afraid of. If a monster that powerful exists, then there must also be a way to defeat it."
While they were talking, a cute girl with light yellow hair walked over and asked sweetly:
"Ichigo-nii, Nanaya-nii, do you want something to eat?"
"No thanks, I don't have an appetite today," Ichigo said, shaking his head. After everything that happened, food was the last thing on his mind.
"Thanks, Yuzu," Nanaya said, reaching out to gently ruffle her hair.
The girl was Kurosaki Yuzu — Ichigo's younger sister, kind and gentle.
Thinking about what was coming in the future, Nanaya gave her a special reminder:
"Yuzu, girls your age should go to bed early, okay?"
Yuzu nodded obediently.
Next to her, Kurosaki Karin smirked and teased:
"Nanaya, you're being so sweet! Are you in love with Yuzu or something?"
Yuzu's face instantly turned red. She lowered her head and mumbled:
"Karin, don't say weird things. Nanaya just treats me like a little sister."
"What!? Nanaya likes Yuzu!?"
Hearing that, Kurosaki Isshin, their father, burst into happy tears and ran over to a photo of his late wife.
"Dear, did you hear that? Our little Yuzu is growing up! She's almost ready to get married!"
"Shut up, you idiot old man!"
Ichigo snapped, his face dark.
"Yuzu's only twelve years old! Instead of dreaming about weddings, put that dumb picture away already!"
Kurosaki Isshin's voice grew even louder as he dramatically cried to the portrait of his late wife:
"Dear! Our son's in his rebellious phase now! Ichigo is so cold to me!"
Ichigo, feeling completely fed up, said nothing and just walked toward his room.
"I'm tired. I'm going to sleep."
Kurosaki Karin sighed helplessly and shook her head.
"This is all Dad's fault."
"Hey, why me?!" Isshin shouted, pretending to be hurt.
Karin crossed her arms and said calmly:
"You're already in your forties, but you still act like a child. Ichigo's obviously upset after everything that happened today."
Hearing that, Isshin clutched his chest dramatically like he was about to faint.
"You're being so cruel! Your poor old dad is heartbroken!"
"..."
Nanaya couldn't help but laugh a little. He stood up and said:
"I'm heading to bed too."
After being chased around by a Hollow for so long today, even someone who usually trained like Nanaya felt exhausted. He needed some proper rest.
Night quickly fell over Karakura Town.
The streets grew dark, and faint, eerie roars echoed through the night.
"It's starting..."
Nanaya stood by the window, watching carefully.
Under the dim streetlights, he spotted the creature clearly — a giant monster, about three meters tall, its entire body black, with a pale white mask on its face and a huge hole through its chest.
Just looking at it gave off the feeling of a demon straight out of hell.
"Even though I've seen them in anime... seeing one in real life is way scarier," Nanaya muttered, staring at the Menos Grande.
Snapping back to focus, he pulled out the metal baseball bat he had prepared earlier. He swung it once, hearing the sharp whoosh of air.
"Perfect."
"BOOM!!!"
A deafening crash shook the entire hospital.
A huge hole exploded in the wall, and the Menos Grande stomped into Kurosaki Hospital, roaring like a monster straight out of a nightmare.
"AHHH! What is that!?"
In the living room, Kurosaki Yuzu and Karin screamed in shock. Their eyes widened in terror as they stared at the terrifying creature.
They were so scared they forgot to even run.
As Menos Grande reached out to grab them, Karin, somehow finding the courage, pushed Yuzu aside.
"Yuzu, run!!"
Just as Karin was about to be caught—
Bang!
Nanaya appeared like a hero, swinging his metal bat hard into Menos Grande's head, forcing the giant creature to stumble back two steps.
"Nanaya-nii!" Karin cried out in surprise.
Nanaya grinned, hoisted Karin onto his shoulder, and said proudly:
"How was my hit?"
Karin, with tears welling up in her eyes, gave him a fierce nod:
"The best! A total home run!"
Without wasting time, Nanaya carried Karin on his shoulder, grabbed Yuzu's hand, and sprinted toward Ichigo's room.
When he found the door locked, he didn't hesitate — he kicked it open with a loud BANG!
Inside, Kurosaki Ichigo was kneeling on the floor, his hands tied behind him by invisible ropes — trapped by a Kidō spell.
"Nanaya!?" Ichigo shouted, stunned.
"Wait—what are you doing!? Are you running away with my sisters or something!?"
Rukia Kuchiki, dressed in her black Shinigami uniform, also looked at Nanaya in shock. She could sense right away that this guy had unusually strong spiritual pressure for a human.
Nanaya quickly looked around the room and said in the simplest way possible:
"No time to explain! Quick — call Ultraman!"
With that, he rushed over, carrying Karin and Yuzu, and hid behind Rukia.
"Eh!?"
"Huh!?"
Ichigo and Rukia were both completely stunned.
After two seconds of awkward silence, Ichigo finally twitched and muttered with a deadpan look:
"Nanaya, if you can't call Ultraman, should I get Astro Boy for you instead?"
Meanwhile, Karin was almost exploding in anger at how ridiculous they were being.
"Nanaya, be serious!!" she shouted.
Nanaya just chuckled, still hiding behind Rukia, and pointed toward the hallway.
"There's a ghost chasing us."
As he spoke, Nanaya also took a quick look at Ichigo and Rukia.
Ichigo was obviously trapped by a Kidō spell, kneeling awkwardly on the floor like he was tied up by invisible ropes.
Rukia, on the other hand, looked exactly as he remembered from the anime.
Short dark hair that curled slightly at the ends, a small slender figure, deep purple eyes, a single bang falling over her forehead, and her Zanpakutō resting at her waist.
Although her figure was small — and honestly, her chest was almost nonexistent — she had a mysterious charm that made her feel different from ordinary girls.
"Man... she's even smaller than I imagined," Nanaya thought with a blink.
He caught himself staring and quickly shook his head.
"What am I doing, staring at Rukia's chest of all things?"
Among the "Big Three" anime, Rukia always had the most petite figure out of all the heroines. In his old world, fans had even nicknamed her the "forever loli."
"Hey, you're hiding behind me but still staring at me? What's your problem!?" Rukia snapped, giving him a suspicious look.
What was going on with this town? First Kurosaki Ichigo had incredible spiritual awareness, and now this other kid could not only see her, but also seemed to have strong spiritual energy himself.
Could Karakura Town really be that special?
While Rukia was deep in thought, Nanaya, without thinking, slowly reached out his hand toward Rukia's chest.
"What the heck is pulling me in...?"
