Chapter 1 - Ch 1

In the mystical world of Tierra, there exist seven counties, each with a rich history spanning over a centuries.

Six of these countries is named after one of the six natural elements, with one hidden city - country being an exception located at the centre of the only continent in this world.

The Kingdom of Light is a prominent nation among the six countries that are widely recognized by the ordinary people of the world as one of the six greta nations.

Despite having a royal family which was very active in the past, the current Light Kingdom has lost most of its power and now operates as a modern democratic government, with the royal family members seldom appearing in public, at least this is what most people thinks.

Currently in the Light city, the capital city of the Kingdom of Light.

In a small one-story house somewhere in the city, a young man lay fast asleep on a modest single bed.

He appeared to be around 17 years old with a mix of Western features. His striking light violet hair and golden eyes were hard to miss. Despite nearing his 20s, he still retained the looks of a teenager.

While he could be considered handsome, he was not quite at the level of being the most attractive man in the world. However, his appearance is still at the level which is somewhat hard to miss in the crowd.

( A/N : MC Looks )

Alex's humble abode consists of a cozy living room, a quaint kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, and a well-maintained bathroom.

Despite the lack of extravagance in the house, it was evident that great care was taken to keep it clean and organized.

The floors were polished to a shine, the walls were freshly painted, and there wasn't a speck of dust in sight. It was clear that the inhabitant of the house took pride in his home, despite its very humble appearance.

Suddenly, the alarm clock near the bed started ringing waking the boy up from his sleep.

Alex was suddenly jolted awake by the blaring sound of his alarm clock, signaling the start of a new day. "It's morning already," he muttered to himself as he sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes.

The first thing he did after waking up was to check the time. He reached for his phone on the bedside table and saw that there was... "Still 1 hour left for class."

With a stretch and a groan, Alex slowly climbed out of bed and made his way towards the bathroom.

As he turned on the shower and let the water warm up, he couldn't help but think about his upcoming first day at college.

It is the first day of his first year in the college and Alex surely doesn't want to be late in reaching the campus.

As he stood before the mirror, freshly bathed with a towel wrapped around his waist, Alex's gaze fixated on the area near his heart with many unknown thoughts passing through his mind.

His perfectly sculpted physique, with a chiseled six-pack that could rival even the most accomplished athlete, seemed to go unnoticed as his eyes being fixed on a single point.

As Alex stood in front of the mirror with only a towel wrapped around his waist, he couldn't help but focus on the big cut near his heart that was now held together by several stitches.

It was a constant reminder he have every morning for his future self.

He let out a heavy sigh, shaking his head in frustration before finally getting dressed. He opted for a white shirt and a blue jacket over it, his go-to outfit for the first day of college.

After having his breakfast, he made sure to lock his house before heading out.

His name was Alex Fallen, a young man whose parents and sisters died in a tragic car crash leaving him all alone at just the age of eight and. The only things he inherited from them were thier family home and a small amounts of their savings.

His mother was from Light Kingdom but his father was a foreigner from another country, which explain his somewhat Western features.

Despite having a house, Alex was sent to an orphanage as he was deemed too young to take care of himself and had no legal guardian to look after him.

At first, It was a difficult time for him as he struggled to fit in and often felt like an outsider among the other children.

But he persevered and eventually found solace in books, using them as a means of escape from his troubles.

However At the age of ten, Alex's life took a dark turn when he was kidnapped and held captive for two years.

During his captivity of three years, he was subjected to unspeakable acts and forced to do things no child should ever have to endure.

It was during this time that he began to understand just how cruel and selfish the world could be.

He was not alone, many were also kidnapped just like him or sold at that place, but he was one of the only two survivors who were able to come out of the place, and the only one who hasn't lost his sanity in the process.

Even though the organisation was destroyed, everyone related to the incident knows the main bosses is still somewhere safe in this world.

Despite being grateful for being saved, Alex couldn't help but feel bitter about the fact that it took the government so long to intervene.

He couldn't shake the feeling that they only did so to save face, and that they didn't really care about the lives lost in the process.

Although receiving compensation from the government for the incident, Alex knew deep down that it was simply a way to silence him and prevent him from seeking further action.

He couldn't help but feel angry and frustrated at the system that allowed such injustice to occur.

Alex has see how many people died during thier experiments that were conveniently labeled as "accidents" by them to the world.

The number of victims was staggering, with hundreds of lives lost in what seemed to be a massive cover-up but the truth remained buried deep beneath the layers of deception and corruption never being revealed.

Despite harboring a burning desire for revenge against the masterminds behind his family's tragedy, Alex knew he had to put that aside for the time being and focus on building a better life for himself.

He also made a promise to himself to never let anyone take advantage of him again and to always stay one step ahead of his enemies.

With each passing day, Alex grew stronger, both mentally and physically, and he knew that he was on the path to achieving his goals.

But as he lacked both power and authority to make a significant impact, Alex realized that the best way to achieve his goals was through education.

The compensation from government was enough for him to complete his High school but he still decided to take part time jobs to make his life more easier and some ''other methods'' to earn more money.

There are only three things that he like in this world which are power, money and the most importantly women.

As Alex was left his house for his college, near the street his house, he suddenly heard a loud voice calling his name.

Looking behind, he saw a young boy, who appeared to be around five or six years old, running excitedly towards him.

Alex groaned inwardly as he saw the boy running towards him yet again. "This kid again," he muttered under his breath. "It's 7:30 in the morning, doesn't he sleep?"

As much as he wanted to just throw the kid in a hole and be done with it, he knew he couldn't because of two reasons.

One, that he doesn't want to show anyone his sadistic side and secondly, he had his own personal reasons for putting up with this kid's persistent presence.

Alex turned around and flashed a warm smile towards the kid. "Good morning, Jun! It's so great to see you again," he said, kneeling down to the boy's level. "But you know, you shouldn't be wandering the streets alone at this hour. Do you know where your mom is?"

Jun, a lively and energetic kid, flashed a bright smile as he began to explain to Alex. "I ran away from home again, Alex! My mom couldn't even catch me this time, and it's my 13th successful escape!" he exclaimed, clearly proud of his achievement.

Alex let out a quiet sigh at the child's foolishness, but he knew better than to complain. After all, this child's antics were actually quite beneficial to him. But now, he needed to take the child back to his home.

Alex had grown accustomed to finding Jun and dropping him back home. Despite the inconvenience it can give to him, he didn't dislike it.

There were some of his personal reasons which is why he is always available to do this job with satisfaction.

Although his reasons for helping Jun are somewhat selfish, he didn't feel guilty about using a child for his own purposes as long as he get whats he want in the end.
