Chapter 1 - Respawn of the Fallen

Park Jinwoo had always lived a dull life.

In the crowded city of Seoul, with no dreams, no friends, and no goals, he spent his days inside a small apartment, locked away from the world.

His only escape — Minecraft.

But not the ordinary blocky one.

No, Jinwoo had carefully modded it with new weapons, dungeons, bosses — even a world-ending catastrophe called the L'Ender Cataclysm.

It was his world. His everything.

He played endlessly.

22 hours straight.

And then... his body collapsed.

The screen blurred before his eyes. His heart slowed. His mind drifted into darkness.

---

When he opened his eyes again, he found himself floating in a strange white space.

There was nothing — no floor, no sky — only endless whiteness.

And then, in front of him, a glowing blue message appeared.

> [You have died.]

[Do you wish to live once more?]

[Destination: Your World.]

[Yes] — [No]

Jinwoo's fingers moved without thinking.

[Yes.]

The world shattered into a thousand pieces.

---

When Jinwoo woke up again, he was lying face-first on warm, golden sand.

The scent of saltwater filled the air. Waves lapped gently at the shore.

Above him, a cherry blossom forest stretched along the hills of a large island, petals dancing in the breeze.

Near the highest point stood a magnificent red temple, glowing softly under the afternoon sun.

Below it, at the base of the hill, he could see a human village, busy with life, a wooden port stretching into the sea.

But more importantly —

In the corner of his vision — he saw it:

A minimap.

An inventory bar.

His heart raced.

(I'm... in Minecraft?)

But this world wasn't made of cubes.

It was real — like a vivid dream — yet the rules of survival, the Nether, the End, the mobs... everything he knew still existed.

And then it hit him.

A flood of memories — sharp and painful — poured into his mind.

Memories of another life.

Of another Park Jinwoo — a warrior code-named Ronin, son of the world's greatest hero.

Seven years ago, his father had defeated the terrifying L'Ender Cataclysm bosses, but at a terrible cost.

He was poisoned during the final battle and died shortly after, leaving behind only his weapons and his legacy.

Ronin had tried to follow his father's footsteps — challenging the reawakened bosses.

But he was too weak.

He fell in battle against Ancient Remnant, losing his sword, Satsujin, and his life.

Now... Park Jinwoo was here.

Waking in Ronin's body, reborn at the place where it all began.

But this time... it would be different.

---

Slowly, Jinwoo stood up. His body felt sore but alive.

Ahead of him, up the stone stairs, the red temple awaited — his old home.

He climbed toward it.

It was quiet. Peaceful. Almost sacred.

Inside, he found a simple shrine room — wooden floors, painted walls, and two chests beside a low table:

One a normal chest, the other an Ender Chest.

His heart pounded with excitement and fear.

He opened the normal chest first.

Inside:

Iron Armor — polished and strong, with faint Netherite enhancements.

1 Stack of Meat — cooked beef, still warm from magic preservation.

A Special Sword — glowing faintly.

A Netherite Tachi — a sharp, deadly curved sword.

Some healing potions, torches, and basic supplies.

Jinwoo smiled bitterly. This was a good start — but against true monsters, it wasn't enough.

He turned to the Ender Chest — the one belonging to his late father.

Carefully, he opened it.

Inside, wrapped in cloths of old silk, lay the legendary weapons:

Sword: Herrscher

A sharp and light sword, perfect for combat. But it seems it needs something to unlock its true power.

Shield: Gesetz

A powerful shield that can block even the mightiest attacks. But it too requires something to awaken.

Gauntlet of Guard

Pulls entities within 10 blocks toward the user.

Gauntlet of Bulwark

Charges a mighty push to knock enemies back.

Gauntlet of Maelstrom

Summons a small storm at the user's will.

Blazing Grips

Applies a burning effect — "Blazing Brand" — to enemies on touch.

And more — seven strange artifacts glowing faintly:

Eye of Mech

Eye of Flame

Eye of Void

Eye of Monstrous

Eye of Abyss

Eye of Desert

Eye of Curse

They pulsed with immense power — the remains of the seven Cataclysm bosses his father had once slain.

Jinwoo reached toward Herrscher, hands trembling.

But suddenly, a red message flashed before his eyes:

> [User Not Worthy.]

He froze.

The weapons rejected him.

He wasn't strong enough yet.

He gritted his teeth, a fire growing inside him.

If he wanted to survive — to conquer this world — he would have to earn it.

He opened his status screen:

> [Skills Available:]

Master of Dodge — Locked

Shadow Steps — Locked

Swordmaster — Locked

Dancing Blade — Locked

Spider Technique — Unlocked

Only one skill, Spider Technique, was usable now — allowing him to climb walls like a spider.

The rest... would have to be unlocked through battle, blood, and survival.

Night was falling.

In the distance, he heard the groans of Zombies, the rattle of Skeletons, and the screech of Spiders.

Jinwoo gripped the Netherite Tachi tightly.

> "Fine," he muttered.

"Let's start small."

Before he could face the Cataclysm, before he could wield Herrscher —

he had to survive the night.

One battle at a time.

And this time...

he wouldn't fall.
