Chapter 23 - #23 First Reward!

"What else can we do? We are powerless to save the situation."

In the dimly lit Hell Exhibition Hall, Director Ochiai, still clad in his knight's armor, appeared to be consumed by his loneliness and despair.

Tang Ze, standing nearby, considered his words carefully before responding. "Boss Manaka did break the agreement, didn't he? You could use that as leverage—expose him in the media for his dishonesty. As a businessman, his integrity is at stake, and that could pressure him to reconsider."

He paused, watching the old man, then continued. "If Boss Manaka refuses to budge, you can reveal everything to the media. If the public truly cares about the Beika Art Museum, they might rally to its cause, keeping it open. But if no one speaks up, it might show that the museum has lost its significance. A museum that's forgotten might no longer deserve to exist."

Tang Ze's tone was firm but not harsh—he understood the importance of keeping the old man's emotions in check. After all, a headline like *"A 60-year-old Knight in Armor Pins Villain to Wall"* could easily become a media sensation, but that wouldn't solve anything. Worse yet, if Ochiai felt cornered, he might lash out in desperation.

"You see," Tang Ze added, "even if it doesn't work out, there's no reason to let things escalate. The museum's future could depend on how the story is told. Don't let it end in violence."

Director Ochiai fell into deep thought, his expression shifting as Tang Ze's words sank in. After a long pause, he slowly relaxed, his tense shoulders dropping. The flicker of hope in his eyes showed that he was beginning to accept the alternative.

"I understand," Ochiai said quietly, removing his armor piece by piece. "If Manaka refuses my terms, I will let the world decide."

Tang Ze nodded. "I'll do my best to help. Although I don't care about recognition, if you mention me, the Publicity Department of the Metropolitan Police might make sure this story gets attention. You can use that to your advantage—whether you want to or not is up to you."

Tang Ze briefly outlined the media landscape, explaining how the "Metropolitan Police Department Press Club" worked and how powerful it could be. The club, a collective of major media outlets stationed within the police department, had a significant influence. If they found a story worthy of attention, it would spread quickly. Even without a public-facing investigation, a quirky "ghost story" like the moving armor could easily attract coverage.

"If you do decide to speak out about your plan," Tang Ze said cautiously, "it could cause a stir. But if handled correctly, it might gain you some public sympathy, and the museum could be saved. Just be careful. Once you make a move, it could turn into something bigger."

Ochiai considered this, nodding slowly. "It's true. It's better to let the public decide."

With that, he removed the last piece of his armor, placed it neatly with the others, and gave Tang Ze a slight bow. "I'll go speak with Manaka. Thank you for your advice."

After Ochiai left, Tang Ze felt a sense of relief. He clicked on the flashing notification prompt that appeared before him:
