"The Crystal Com… has finally been finished."
Nestor moved his sluggish arms, slowly, while it was visibly trembling, as he took out an earpiece from his shorts' pocket. He put it at the table to show everyone its appearance.
It has a curved, L-shaped arc that would be able to wrap subtly around the upper side of the ear, but doesn't plug into the ear canal. Its material seemed to be made of matte-black or tarnished gray bio-polymer shell, which was flexible yet impact-resistant. It was slightly iridescent from the embedded crystal circuitry.
Its texture was smooth on the outside, with veins-like channels faintly across the surface — where liquid crystal conduits flow like living circuitry. Its size was about two finger-widths long, tapering to a thin pad that sits just in front of the ear on the cheekbone.
Nestor was about to open his mouth when Andrew raised his hand and said while looking at Nestor, "Let me explain. I helped, either way."
