From Mira's Point of View
Mira watched Cael from a distance, her thoughts swirling. He had come a long way since that first day in the guild, that day when he didn't even know what his magic was capable of. At first, he'd been reserved, a stranger to this chaotic world. But now, he was starting to find his place among them.
He was a quiet force, still learning and growing in ways none of them expected. His first few missions had been more about surviving than thriving, but now, there was a subtle shift in him. He had begun to trust his instincts more, and though he wasn't entirely sure how to control his power, there was a fierceness in the way he approached each task.
There were still so many questions about him, though. His magic, for one. It had flared with intense energy during his early days—raw and uncontrollable—but there was something more to it. She had seen it in his eyes once, a spark of something dangerous yet brilliant. Could it be that he was hiding his true potential? She wasn't sure yet.
And then, of course, there was the slow-growing bond between them. They hadn't said much about it, but Mira couldn't deny that there was something between them. It wasn't like the wild passion of Natsu and Lucy, but rather, a steady, growing friendship, one that might turn into something deeper over time. But for now, she simply enjoyed being his ally, guiding him when she could, watching him grow stronger with each passing day.
From Natsu's Point of View
Natsu stretched his arms as he surveyed the guild hall. The place was as lively as always, but his thoughts kept drifting to Cael. The guy wasn't like any mage Natsu had met. There was a certain intensity to him—something almost… off. Not in a bad way, though. It was more like Cael was constantly deep in thought, always analyzing everything. He could see it in his eyes, the way his brain never seemed to stop working. It was like Cael had this incredible mind, but he wasn't sure how to use it just yet.
Natsu had seen him on missions, never backing down, always jumping in without hesitation. Even when the going got tough, Cael just took it all in stride. There was no doubt about it—he was strong. But how much stronger could he get?
The idea of training with Cael was an interesting one. Maybe they could even push each other. But Cael didn't seem the type to fight for fun, like Natsu did. He was always looking for something more, something deeper. It was clear that Cael wasn't just here for the guild life. He was searching for something—just what, Natsu couldn't quite put his finger on.
He grinned to himself. Maybe he'd ask him someday. After all, Cael was a part of Fairy Tail now, and if Natsu could help him, he would.
From Erza's Point of View
Erza stood quietly by the window, observing the guild below. Her sharp eyes never missed anything, and lately, her attention had been drawn more and more to Cael. He wasn't a problem; in fact, he was one of the most promising new members the guild had seen in years. But there was something about him that intrigued her. She couldn't quite place it—his calm demeanor, his reserved attitude, and yet… the flickers of chaos that seemed to spark in his eyes when he used his magic.
She had seen how he interacted with the others, especially Mira. It was subtle, but Erza could tell there was a connection growing between them. At first, she had thought it might just be a fleeting friendship, but now, she wasn't so sure. It wasn't like her to worry about these things, but for some reason, something about Cael's presence seemed to stir feelings in her that she couldn't ignore.
He wasn't like the other mages. He wasn't like Natsu, with his explosive energy, or Gray, with his seriousness. Cael was something entirely different. And she couldn't help but wonder how his journey would unfold.
From Gray's Point of View
Gray sighed, leaning back in his chair. He had seen a lot of mages come and go through the guild, but Cael was different. It wasn't just his magic—although that was strange and unpredictable enough to warrant attention. It was the way he carried himself. Cael was always so collected, always calculating. He didn't show much emotion, but when he did, it was like watching a storm slowly brew.
Gray had seen the flashes of power in Cael's eyes, and it worried him. He had a feeling that the more Cael understood about his abilities, the more dangerous he could become. But that wasn't the real issue. The problem was that Cael didn't seem to want to fit in. He wasn't trying to prove himself like Natsu or Gray himself; he was just… there. Existing. Observing. Trying to figure out his place.
But even so, Gray could tell that Cael was someone worth watching. He was the type who would go to any lengths to protect his friends once he figured out how.
From Cael's Point of View
Cael sat in the corner of the guild hall, his eyes tracing the wood grain of the table. He wasn't a huge fan of crowds, and the constant noise of the guild hall had a tendency to overwhelm him. He was still getting used to the rhythm of this new life, the camaraderie, the constant movement.
His magic—his power—had grown stronger over time, but it was still wild and unrefined. There were moments when he could feel it surging inside him, untamable, eager to break free. It was as if his magic was a storm trapped beneath his skin, waiting for the right moment to tear everything apart. But that wasn't what he wanted. He couldn't let it consume him. Not yet.
He glanced around at the people in the guild hall. They were his new family now, and though they were different from him, they had become his anchors. Mira, Natsu, Gray, Erza—they were all people he could trust, in their own ways. And yet, there was still a part of him that felt like an outsider, watching from the outside in.
It wasn't until he began to leave the guild hall that his mind turned once again to the mission he had been given. There were things he had to do. Things he had to learn. He wasn't done yet.
He smiled to himself, the faintest glimmer of madness in his eyes. Not yet.
