Chapter 10 - OPRS: Chapter 10

Because his body wasn't fully recovered, when Alistair woke up the next day, the sun was already high in the sky. But as he lay in the soft bed, remembering the farce of the previous day, he couldn't help but chuckle.

Sure enough, some things couldn't be approached with modern thinking and wishful thinking. His way of thinking was fundamentally different from those in the world of One Piece.

But luckily, he had seen the Empress's heart flutter. Actually, if he hadn't been so clever and told the story of One Thousand and One Nights, the Empress would probably have left with him yesterday.

He was actually a little impatient, because if he calculated the time carefully, maybe Enel on Sky Island hadn't eaten the Goro Goro no Mi yet. If he could get the Goro Goro no Mi before Enel, then even if he couldn't fight, he would be able to protect himself.

But he had spent ten years with the Celestial Dragons. He didn't learn anything else, but he learned the principle of "go with the flow" to the max. Since it was already decided, he shouldn't resist too much. He should learn to enjoy it.

In fact, he was enjoying it quite a bit.

Yesterday, he returned to the Empress's bedroom with the Empress, leaving behind the proprietress, Lotus, with her lingering gaze.

After repeating his previous explanations to Sandersonia and Marigold, the two girls accepted him.

The pain of slaves was always shared, especially for those like the Gorgon Sisters, who had been raised by the Celestial Dragons from a young age. They were deeply scarred by this pain.

And the Empress didn't let Alistair stay outside her bedroom. If he had, the powerless Alistair might have been raped by curious or desperate Amazonian warriors that night...

Staying in the bedroom was the least he could do to protect his... well, you know.

But starting today, he had to get busy. Though he was supposed to be resting on Kuja Island, he also wanted to see the Empress being granted the title of Warlord with his own eyes. As for who would dare to come to Kuja Island, that was even more curious. It would have to be a brave, meticulous, and powerful Marine officer.

Maybe it would be one of Kizaru, Aokiji, or Akainu, or maybe an older generation like Sengoku, Garp, or a younger, middle-aged Marine Vice Admiral...

It was all worth looking forward to.

The arrival of the Marines and the granting of the Warlord title wouldn't make the Empress grateful to the Marines. In fact, under Alistair's analysis, this Warlord system had become a delaying tactic. And the truth was indeed so: the Marines were simply using the Warlords to buy time before the new generation of Marines grew up.

Look at what kind of people the Warlords were.

Crocodile, who was entrenched in the first half of the Grand Line, would feed almost every pirate who provoked him to his crocodiles. The first layer of screening had already appeared.

Gecko Moria, who was entrenched in the middle of the Grand Line, had been cutting out pirates' shadows to replenish his own forces. The second layer of screening was only natural.

The third layer of screening was "Fishman" Jinbe, who occupied the area below Sabaody Archipelago. His Sun Pirates were powerful, even able to hold back BIG MOM's crew for a while. Any pirate crew that passed through Sabaody Archipelago and attacked the mermaids would be mercilessly eliminated by him.

The fourth layer of screening was "Donquixote" Doflamingo, who was once a member of the Celestial Dragons in the latter part of the Grand Line. To be honest, even though Crocodile and Moria were defeated in the New World, they were invincible against rookie pirates entering the New World. Like the Straw Hat Pirates, with their protagonist aura, they were almost always injured when they fought their way through, becoming battered and broken.

As for ordinary pirate crews, they couldn't even dream of facing a Warlord head-on and then charging forward. Many pirates were reckless, like the East Blue Admiral, Krieg. He was practically the ruler of the East Blue, with a whole fleet, but he didn't value high-level combat strength. He even dared to invade the Grand Line without a single subordinate who had eaten a Devil Fruit. He was defeated by Mihawk alone. As long as they dared to challenge a Warlord, they would only have one way out: death. This was the Marines' open secret. The Warlords had to deal with them, even if it was tedious.

The Kuja Pirates were the only pirate crew that could enter and exit the Calm Belt, and they could even threaten Impel Down. Before they had a Seastone battleship capable of completely annihilating the Kuja Pirates, recruiting the Kuja Pirates was a natural choice.

And Mihawk and Kuma were powerful and ambiguous in their alignment. To prevent them from causing great damage and harm to the Marines, recruiting them was also a natural choice.

Thus, the seven Warlords were basically set.

Alistair pushed from the future to the present, no matter how you looked at it, it made sense. But on the other hand, not everyone could understand the Marines' strategic deployment.

Alistair's explanation was refreshing, making the Marines' deployment clear at a glance. This was something that made Gloriosa particularly happy.

The current Amazon Lily Kingdom lacked such a strategist. Though she had some cunning, she was already in her eighties, nearing ninety. How long could she continue to make decisions for Amazon Lily?

Once she died, the Empress would probably go wild.

Though she was already pretty wild, but now it seemed like the Empress had a limiter...

"So, before the Marines arrive, let's check my body. Though it's a bit presumptuous, my body seems to have some problems..."

Alistair didn't treat himself as an outsider, he simply spoke frankly.

He wasn't afraid to make demands, because the information he had revealed was enough to pay for any expenses.

The doctor of Amazon Lily was a middle-aged woman with a headscarf. Though she was still attractive, her lips were too thick, and her figure couldn't compare to others. So, though she was more revealing than others, she didn't arouse Alistair's interest in the slightest.

Actually, it was this doctor, named Belladonna, who treated him when he was unconscious.

She had already thoroughly examined him.

Of course, Alistair, who was now valued by the Empress, was different from the rootless Alistair before. She carefully and meticulously examined him from top to bottom, then reported to the Empress, who was looking at him with concern, "Alistair, he's just a little weak, weaker than ordinary Amazonian warriors. As for other problems, I haven't found any."

"Is that so?" Alistair frowned and touched his smooth chin. He subconsciously reached for his beard, but only felt smooth skin.

"Maybe after my body recovers, I can try training Haki?" Though he was talking to himself, he looked at the Empress.

Clearly, they were the experts in Haki.

But the Empress's face was getting redder and redder as he looked at her. Clearly, she couldn't plan his training goals at all...

He turned his head helplessly, looking at Gloriosa, the old fox. This was someone he didn't want to deal with.

But at this stage, it seemed like she was the only one who could help him...
