Chapter 1 - Tokushiro’s Heir

10:15 PM, Tokyo.

The city lights shone brightly from the window, casting long shadows across the room. Mireyna stood by the window, her small hand pressed against the cold glass. Outside, the streets were bustling with activity—just another typical night in Tokyo.

"Papa, are you going to leave Nana?" the young girl asked softly, her voice filled with concern.

Her father, dressed in a sharp suit, glanced over at her, his face gentle but firm. "Nana, my little one, don't worry. Papa and Mama have to go on a business trip to Las Vegas. We'll be gone for just a while. You'll be with Grandma, and your aunts and uncles will look after you, alright?"

Mireyna's eyes filled with a mix of sadness and confusion. "But… you'll come back, right?"

Her mother, busy organizing things in the suitcase, looked up with a comforting smile. "Of course, my dear. We're just going for the summer break. Once it's over, we'll come back and spend time together. You'll see."

"But… why does it have to be this way?" Mireyna asked, almost in a whisper.

Her father walked over to her, crouching down to meet her gaze. "Mireyna, sometimes adults have to do things that you won't fully understand right now. But we're doing this for you—for our family's future."

Mireyna nodded, trying to be brave, but the knot in her stomach was too strong. She missed them already.

Her mother stepped forward, cupping her cheek. "Nana, my little one… don't be sad. We'll come back soon. I promise."

She leaned down, kissing Mireyna's forehead before giving her a tight hug.

The night passed slowly for Mireyna. She tried to sleep, but the restlessness in her heart kept her awake. It wasn't just about missing her parents—it was the strange feeling that something was wrong. Something she couldn't put her finger on.

(Later that Night)

Mireyna's eyes fluttered open. She had tossed and turned in her sleep, but something felt… off. She slowly sat up, her senses alert to something in the air. There, by the edge of the mountains in the distance, was a figure.

At first, Mireyna thought it was a trick of the moonlight, but as she blinked, the figure grew clearer—a girl, standing in the fog, watching them from a distance.

The girl had long black hair that shimmered in the soft glow of the moon. Her skin was pale, almost ghostly white, and her clothing looked old—like something from another time, blue in color, almost like traditional Chinese robes.

Mireyna's heart raced as she watched the figure. The girl stood still, a serene smile on her face, as if she knew Mireyna was watching her.

"Who… who is that?" Mireyna whispered, her voice trembling with curiosity and fear.

The figure's eyes met hers, and for a moment, there was an unspoken connection between them. The girl seemed to acknowledge Mireyna's presence, a knowing smile curling at the corners of her lips.

Then, just as suddenly as the figure appeared, the fog seemed to swallow her up, and she was gone—vanishing into the mist.

Mireyna blinked, unsure if she had imagined the whole thing.

"Did I just… see that?" she whispered to herself, her heart pounding.

Who is the girl? is it a dream? Or had it been a vision of something else perhaps? She couldn't tell. But whatever its just a dream.

or is it..?

9:15 AM

The morning air was crisp as Mireyna began her journey. She was in the backseat of her father's private driver's car, headed towards a distant mountain. Since childhood, Mireyna had always been accompanied by her two loyal bodyguards. They had been by her side for as long as she could remember, and while most people referred to her as Mireyna, her close family members on her mother's side called her Little Nana, just a simple nickname for caucasion since her mother is fully european. But within her father's family, she was simply known as Mirae a very graceful japanese nickname.

The car drove up to one of the mountains not far from Tokyo. After arriving, they began climbing a long staircase that led deeper into the heart of the mountain. Eventually, they reached a lake, which had once marked the boundary between the old village where the Tokushiro family had lived and the current village still carrying the family's legacy.

An elderly man who maintained the area was standing nearby. "Little one, what is your name, and where are you headed?" he asked, observing Mireyna and her bodyguards.

"Hello, my name is Mireyna Tokushiro. My father is Haruki Tokushiro. I've come from Tokyo, and I'm here to visit my grandparents for the summer," she replied.

The old man's eyes widened. "Ah, your grandparents are Genzo Tokushiro and Mitsuri Tokushiro, yes?"

"Yes, that's right," Mireyna confirmed.

"My respects to the granddaughter of Genzo Tokushiro," he said, bowing his head.

"Why, sir, do you show such respect to me?" Mireyna asked, puzzled. "I'm younger than you. I should be the one showing respect."

The old man smiled kindly. "You are the granddaughter of the village leader, who is greatly revered. It is only fitting that I show my respect to you."

He motioned for them to follow him toward the Tokushiro family's village. They boarded a boat and crossed the lake, arriving at the village. As Mireyna walked through the village, she couldn't help but notice how much it had changed. It used to be a humble place, but now it changed a lot filled with beautiful artistry. She asked around until someone pointed her in the direction of the Tokushiro family home. of course people gaze is odd because she is little girl followed by two bulky big gym rat bodyguards.

The Tokushiro family had always been highly respected in the village of Kokishibu. Not only were they noble and wealthy, but their generosity was legendary. They had been instrumental in improving the community, always helping to uplift the villagers and providing charity to those in need. This was why they had been entrusted with the leadership of the village.

As Mireyna approached her grandparents' house, she spotted a stunning young woman..eyes full of shocked.
