Chapter 162 - Chapter 162 — “Games in the Halls”

Location: Avalon Elite Academy – Academic Building, Mid-Morning

If Avalon thought things had stabilized after the return of Caelan, Azra, and Liora…

They were wrong.

Because the moment their "cousins" started attending classes?

Everything changed.

Scene: Nova in Philosophy

Professor Hill, a 40-year veteran of elite education, prided himself on being untouchable.

Until Nova Vale sat in the front row.

He made a snide joke about loyalty and romanticism.

Nova's calm reply?

"Perhaps your philosophy is simply fear dressed in logic. Which, to be fair, makes you a philosopher… of cowardice."

The class froze.

The professor blinked.

And then marked her "exemplary" participation for the term.

Scene: Rico and Zeke in Gym

The basketball team held tryouts that morning.

Zeke barely moved and still dominated the court.

One senior tried to block him and got flattened—lightly.

"My bad," Zeke muttered with a smirk.

"I just forget how soft some of y'all are."

Rico? He scored backward from half-court.

Someone asked if they were going pro.

"Nah," Rico shrugged. "We're here for the vibes."

Scene: Arielle and Elina in Lit & Arts

They joined the fashion club, theater crew, and even creative writing.

But in every room?

They owned it.

Elina walked into the poetry class and recited three stanzas that made half the room tear up.

Arielle joined a group skit and restructured the entire scene mid-rehearsal.

"I don't just act," she said. "I direct."

Scene: Lunch Table Politics

The cafeteria was a battlefield now.

Students tried to cozy up to the Vale table. Others kept their distance, wary of power they didn't understand.

A few brave (or foolish) cliques tried throwing shade.

One comment:

"Cousins? You guys look a little too close."

Azra leaned forward.

"So do your parents—should we call someone?"

The table howled. The challengers retreated.

Final Scene: The New Normal Begins

At the top of the building, hidden by tech and magic, a drone hovered—broadcasting to Damon in real-time.

He watched quietly.

And smiled.

"Let them play. Let them shine."

"And when the time comes… let them rule."
