The first to step through the gates was Captain Ayame Tokinaga of Squad 3. Despite her noble lineage, she walked with a relaxed, almost rebellious swagger, her black kimono flowing behind her — the right shoulder completely bare, revealing the elegant black-and-gold strip tattoo that wound from her collarbone down to her palm. A cigarette dangled from her lips, its smoke curling like dancing ink in the air. Eyes sharp, she barely acknowledged the stiff-bowing teachers. She took her place, scanning the students like she was sizing up a new piece of art — or prey.
Next came Captain Mizuku of Squad 5. Towering and thin, his regal white haori fit him like a tailored blade. His silver hair was combed back neatly, and the quiet arrogance in his eyes burned like a cold sun. As he looked over the reports handed to him, he smirked — as if already disappointed.
Captain Ginrei Kuchiki of Squad 6 followed in quiet nobility. His presence alone silenced whispers. Stoic, traditional, and dignified — he took his seat with a calm nod to the headmaster and opened the student reports without a word.
Then came the wind-blown robes and tilted hat of Captain Shunsui Kyōraku of Squad 8. He yawned openly, sipping sake from a flask, pink kimono hanging lazily off one shoulder. But behind those half-lidded eyes was a mind that missed no detail.
Captain Kuruyashiki of Squad 11 entered like a storm — short-tempered, loud, and brimming with raw reiatsu. His arrival alone caused some weaker students to stumble.
And finally, the gentle giant — Captain Jūshirō Ukitake of Squad 13 — stepped forward, warm eyes and soft smile steadying the tense atmosphere. Polite and graceful, he bowed to every member of the staff and students alike before joining the council.

The Captain's Discussion
As the captains began reviewing the files, soft murmurs turned into sharp exchanges.
Mizuku sneered after a pause, flipping through Mohit's profile.
"Have the standards of this academy truly fallen so low? A blind boy came second?"
Kuruyashiki, arms crossed, scowled.
"Don't talk out of your ass. That 'blind boy' finished the hollow task faster than your golden elites. And he left a mark on Sakazuki's leg — not many students can say that."
Shunsui chuckled lazily, raising his flask.
"Blindness is just a lens… Some warriors see far better in the dark than those with perfect eyes."
Ginrei Kuchiki, silent until now, simply placed a hand over Mohit's file and closed it gently.
"Results speak. But so does responsibility."
Ukitake's eyes lingered on Rose's report, a small smile forming.
"Potential blooms in strange ways."

The Selections
After three hours of deliberation, Headmaster Ryosei stood.
"Captains, state your decisions."
Captain Ayame Tokinaga stood first, flicking ash off her cigarette.
"I'll take Shinji. He's quick. Unorthodox. And I like the fire in his reports. Should fit in just fine with my squad."
Shinji blinked in shock, then smirked.
Ginrei Kuchiki was next.
"I am interested in mohit and I want him in my squad just then shunsui interrupted ginrei well captain I also want him you know he can grow in if train him don't you think ginrei did not answer then he spoke I respectfully withdraw my request."
He gave Mohit a small, respectful nod.
Shunsui tipped his hat.
"Guess that leaves him to me then. Mohit — I look forward to working with you. A mind like yours belongs in Squad 8."
Mohit gave a slight bow, expression unreadable.
Captain Ukitake stood and smiled warmly.
"Rose, your calm nature and clarity are what Squad 13 seeks. I believe you'll do well."
Then Kuruyashiki stood, grinning fiercely.
"Arthur! That crazy strength of yours? I want it in Squad 11. I'll make sure you don't go soft."
Arthur cracked his knuckles, grinning ear to ear.
Last, Mizuku rose — looking half-bored.
"I suppose I'll take Rose as well. Two offers. Let's see where his loyalty lies."
