Chapter 4 - Living Life Through A Motto

Ilyara shook her head slowly, confused, "no, it changes nothing. I'll have Hanna draw the contract, but.. aren't you scared or anything?"

"No, not really."

Ilyara didn't know how to react and just settled on a proud smile, her 'husband' is amazing.

Silver got up, and started clearing the plates, when Ilyara hurriedly stood up and said, "you don't have to do that, I'll handle it."

"No, it's fine, nothing I haven't done before. Plus, I'm not used to being taken care off, it makes me uncomfortable, so please let me handle this."

Ilyara retreated back in her seat, absent-mindedly nodding, lost to the intense stare Silver directed her way.

Silver took the plates and disappeared to the kitchen. Ilyara woke up from her day dreaming and headed to her room to retrieve her things. It was time to get to work.

Silver washed the plates by hand, when he was finished he dried them with a clean towel and placed them where they belong.

When he was done he returned to the dining room, only to find Ilyara missing. He went straight to the bedroom and found her changing her clothes.

Silver blushed and looked away when he found her wearing her jeans, while naked waist up.

Ilyara giggled, she had sensed him coming so she deliberately remained naked, so that he could walk into the room finding her like this. She loved how even expressionless, he was still reactive and showed an array of emotions without even noticing.

"Why are you changing?" Silver asked, after clearing his throat.

"We're going to the set, I still have a job you know."

"Somehow I feel like you just took a jab at me for not having anything to do."

"Of course not, from today you'll be my driver and bodyguard, I'll fire Hanna."

Silver raised his brow, this Hanna person seemed to be good at everything. Whenever something comes Hanna this, Hanna that. He wondered what kind of person she is.

"Oh, fine by me."

Ilyara wore her red lace bra and just when she was about to clasp it behind her, she had a mischievous thought, "darling~ can you help me with my bra, I think something is wrong."

Silver hesitantly looked towards Ilyara who seemingly looked like she was struggling with the bra. He narrowed his eyes, before huffing. It was definitely a trick, but could he be so heartless as to leave her alone if it's not?

After thinking about, he knew nothing about women bras, perhaps it's really difficult to put it on. He walked up to her with hesitant steps.

She turned his back to him, and reached behind, his warm fingers brushing against her warm skin. Ilyara felt heat spread throughout her body, a moan threatening to slip out.

'Was I always this horny?' she wondered.

Silver on the other hand was blushing furiously for having touched the skin of a woman who wasn't related to him. He found it harder to focus, as he fought with the bra to close.

After what felt like an eternity Silver managed to clasp the bra. He breathed out a sigh, and backed away.

There was an awkward silence, with both of them having no intention of breaking it. The tension was charged with something.

Ilyara was restraining herself not to pin down Silver on the floor and have her way with him.

Her eyes were now a glowing crimson, heat burning underneath her skin to an unbearable level.

Silver sensed something was wrong, "Ilyara are you fin—woah"

Silver calling her name for the first time, set her off. With inhuman speed, she grabbed Silver, threw him on the man, and climbing on top of him, her hands pinning his against the soft mattress.

Silver tilted his head slightly, not scared, but curious, "Ilyara what's wrong?"

Ilyara bit down on lip and blood dripped from it, as she tried her best to restrain herself. Silver watched in fascination as her eyes flickered because their natural grey and their predatory red.

"I... I want to mate," she said.

With those words blood rushed to Silver's lower part, threatening to turn his thoughts into mush.

He breathing came in short breaths, as he thought he was hearing things. But the madness in Ilyara told him she meant business.

He forced himself to calm down, "I can't, not now."

"W-why not?"

"Because I haven't received my money yet."

Ilyara was shocked that the heat of arousal instantly disappeared. She had never felt so undesired till this moment. With an annoyed puff she climbed down from both Silver and the bed.

Silver sensed he had said something he shouldn't have, but couldn't understand what. He climbed down the bed, confused and having nothing to say.

Ilyara wore a shirt over her bra and walked away with an angry expression. Silver followed right behind, a sigh escaping at his incapability of understanding women.

'Was it the money thing?' Silver wondered, 'But that wouldn't make sense, I'm the one prostituting myself, not the other way around. It's just like I thought, women are creatures I can't hope to understand.'

They walked inside the elevator, and Ilyara pressed the first floor button. Silver watched in silence as the door closed, and they began descending down. While Ilyara searched her handbag, taking out a pair of sunglasses to wear.

The ride was awkward to say the list, but unnecessary long as Silver suddenly begged for it to descend faster.

"Do you find me undesirable?" Ilyara suddenly asked.

"The opposite actually, I find you to be too desirable that I have no choice but to believe you have some sort of ulterior motive I'm not privy to."

"Is that why you rejected me earlier, because you still don't trust me?"

Silver chuckled, while shaking his head, "of course not, I rejected you because I really need to see the money before we do anything else. I'm not for free."

Ilyara turned to face him with an annoyed expression, "all you care about is money, money this money that, what about me?"

Silver tilted his head to the side, "what about you?"

"You.. urghhh, you're insufferable."

Ilyara folded her hands underneath her chest and turned her back on Silver.

If any man was in Silver's position they would have long since bedded Ilyara, having forgotten about anything else. But Silver wasn't ordinary, after all he had a second motto—money first, everything else second.
