The Codex was sealed in the Temple of Accord, its knowledge safe. The branded were healed. The world, once on the brink, began to mend.
Takeshi was offered a throne—twice. He refused.
"I'm not a ruler. I'm a nerd with a monster app in his head."
Instead, he opened a new sanctuary where humans and monsters trained together—not in domination, but cooperation.
Fyria became its chief fire instructor. Elira joined the archery school (and definitely did not blush when people called her Takeshi's knight). Sir Haiku became its poet laureate. Mochi… remained Mochi.
One night, under the stars, Takeshi sat alone at the cliff's edge.
"I guess this is my world now," he murmured.
Whispermutt lay beside him, tail flicking.
A soft voice came from behind. "It's our world, Takeshi."
He turned.
Elira.
She took his hand.
Somewhere deep in the forest, a new monster was born. And it felt… safe.
