At Aldera Middle School a young boy was at the top of the roof looking down at the few people who were exiting the school. He had curly green hair and freckles, his face looked to be beaten up and there were burn marks on his uniform. His eyes were emotionless and his body was stiff. Did he really want to do this? I mean he did get embarrassed in front of multiple people by his all time favorite hero and not before the sludge incident he was told down by him that he won't be able to become a hero without a quirk.
Tears ran down his cheek as he gripped onto his ripped and burnt notebook. "Why would I bother living if I can't become a hero? All Might said so himself..." He looked down at the ground to see that there weren't anymore students coming out of the building. The wind felt cold, leaves were falling from the tree and hit the ground gently. Maybe his pain would be peaceful and wouldn't hurt as much, he'll just fall and hit the ground without any cause.
Izuku took off his red shoes and dropped his backpack on the floor near him, he felt his heart pound rapidly in his chest. 'Should I really do it? It can't hurt that much, would it? What would mom think? What happens if I hit the ground but I end up living?' Thoughts ran through his mind as he kept thinking about the many scenarios that could end up happening if he doesn't end up dying when he jumps. He was afraid. Not afraid of dying, but afraid he'll live and live the consequences.
'Take a swan dive off the roof of the building,' he kept thinking about the many things his childhood friend said during his years in middle school. 'Useless Deku! Get away from me!' More thoughts kept running through his mind. 'Do you really think you could have the chance of getting into U.A? Forget about it!' More kept repeating. 'Are you looking down on me!? Are you trying to start something!?' Over. 'Don't touch me!' And over... 'Why would I be friends with a quirk less person like you?' And over again...
He stepped over the support railings and looked down at the ground again. All of those painful and dark memories were about to vanish with just one leap off of the roof. Izuku smiled as he closed his eyes letting go of the bars he was holding onto keeping him from falling off. The gush of wind rushed past by his face as he felt his body gone light and his legs felt free from standing. Before he could reach the ground he felt his body moved and was now lying down on the floor with someone holding his head.
Other POV:
The wind wasn't that breezy like there and there weren't a lot of people walking around here so it was good. He didn't want his identity slipping out too soon before the plan could become a success. His purple and black smoke that was part of him and his yellow eyes was an obvious sign of not good towards other people. He was wearing a suit and was walking around the town wanting to have some peace after making and watching the plans that Shigaraki was planning. Sure it was stressful but at the end he would be able to relax.
While Kurogiri kept walking he spotted not too far from him a boy on top of the roof top of a school building. He kept in watch of the boy when suddenly he was that he let go of what seemed to be the bar railings. The villain used his quirk rushed towards the school and made a portal appear under the boy and used another one to appear on the floor. Luckily the young student was fine, but he was bleeding slightly due to the quick events of the fall and portal. It wasn't a major bleed, only slight marks.
'What did I just do..? Did I save him?' Kurogiri thought to himself as he heard the boy coughing and saw his eyes opening weakly. The green hair kid looked at the purple smokey figure as he realized he got saved by him. "I'm sorry to disturb you from your... fall but would you mind telling me why would you do this?" Kurogiri asked as he looked down at the green haired boy. "...why would I live in a world where people and heroes treat someone without a quirk differently? The student had tears in his eyes as he was now laid on the floor. The man felt something in him he felt...pity, sorrowful, sympathy for the young student.
Kurogiri went silent before having an idea, an idea that would help him and the boy, "Would you like to change their opinion?" That question enlightens the boy with curiosity, his eyes stared at the purple smoking figure wondering what he meant. "How..? They'll look over me. They wont listen to what I have to say." The large figure put the students head down to rest while he looked down on him. "I saw the news recently. That sludge was the main media two days ago..."
He kept saying, "A student tried to rescue another student from that villain, but when...he came, everyone paid attention to him while you were getting scolded by the other heroes. You did something. And the others didn't. They all had quirks but you didn't, but you didn't care, you tried to help that boy." Before Kurogiri could continue he heard some voices coming near the walk way near the entrance of the school. "I'll be seeing you soon, Midoriya Izuku.
The smoke figure made the same portal and went through it. Once he disappeared with the portal some adults spotted Izuku laying on the floor with some blood running down his mouth and some underneath his head. "Kid! Are you okay!?" A man ran up to him along with a woman, "S-Stay calm! I'm calling the police!" The two pairs were freaking out about the young student who was bleeding.
Izuku was calm though, he was looking up at the sky thinking about the conversation he had with the strange man. 'Help? Did he want to help me?' He kept thinking to himself until he heard the sounds of sirens and flashing lights. 'I knew I shouldn't have jumped...wait. How did he know my name?'
