Chapter 1 - Chapter Zero Opening

It is said in psychology that

"a child who is abused by his parents doesn't stop loving them, but rather stops loving himself."

"Little Monster Dante":

There was a child with a heart of glass, but the world didn't treat him like a child, but rather like a solid stone that everyone throws in each other's faces.

Dante... that name that sounds like the whisper of an old wound.

He wasn't inherently evil, but he was born into the lap of cruelty that turned him into a "little monster" without claws.

His mother, whom he looked at with eyes that clung to tenderness, slapped him one day and then disappeared like a ghost into the dawn mist.

His father, the man who turned his small body into an arena for endless rage, taught him that hatred was a language he mastered before he even learned the letters.

In a dark corner of the world, where dreams are buried beneath screams that no one hears, Dante would crumple himself up like a crumpled piece of paper... asking himself: "Am I the bad one? Am I the one who doesn't deserve love?" But the answer was always as hurtful as his father's look: "Yes." And now, here stands the little monster on the edge of the abyss, carrying inside him a child begging for survival, and a man who has only learned to hurt as he was hurt.

Will he succeed in breaking the chains? Or will he become another version of the monsters they created with their own hands?
