Story Setting

The story is set in a world much like our own, but one that has changed drastically over the past century. In this world, Pokémon exist alongside humans, having arrived through mysterious spatial rifts. These rifts also brought with them Dungeons/Secret Realms, and Ancient Ruins/Research Dungeons—each filled with rare resources, powerful wild Pokémon, and remnants of unknown civilizations.

Among them are Research Dungeons, specialized zones/ruins containing knowledge from a Pokémon Civilization - Pokéballs, Level Reading Machines, Potential Reading Machines, TM's etc.,.

Pokémon training, dungeon exploration, and relic research have become core parts of modern life, shaping the new society.

Pokémon Potential Classification

In this world, a Pokémon's potential determines its growth rate, strength ceiling, and long-term development. The classification follows a color-based tier system, ranked from lowest to highest:

🔴 Red

🟠 Orange

🟡 Yellow

🟢 Green

🔵 Blue

🟣 Indigo

🟪 Purple (Extremely rare)

🟡✨ Gold - Can break Lv. 100

Due to their close characteristics, Purple potential Pokémon are often mistaken for Indigo, as the difference between the two can be subtle and hard to detect. As a result, most Pokémon identified with Indigo potential are sent to high-ranking research laboratories for further evaluation. If confirmed to be Purple, they are considered national-level assets due to their rarity and extraordinary growth potential.

Pokémon Level Classification

Pokémon are also classified by level, which reflects their current combat capabilities and training progress:

Rookie (Lv. 1–20) – Red Tier

Ordinary (Lv. 21–40) – Orange Tier

Advanced (Lv. 41–60) – Yellow Tier

Pseudo-Elite (Lv. 61–70) – Green Tier

Elite (Lv. 71–80) – Blue Tier

Pseudo-Champion (Lv. 81–90) – Indigo Tier

Champion (Lv. 91–99) – Purple Tier

Master (Lv. 100) – Purple Tier can do this but would be require very powerful Items

Legendary Pokémon Classification

Legendary Pokémon are in a league of their own, divided into Tiers based on power, rarity, and lore:

Tier 0 – Creation Trio (Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina)

Tier 1 – Weather Trio, Kyurem, Mewtwo, Regigigas, Necrozma, Eternatus, etc.

Tier 2 – Tower Duo, Zekrom, Reshiram, Aura Trio, etc.

Tier 3 – Legendary Birds, Legendary Beasts, Regi-s, Eon Duo, etc.

Trainer Classification

Trainer ranks mainly depends on Pokémon but sometimes Honors also count. Advancement depends on battle achievements, number of badges, and overall influence:

Rookie

Ordinary / Junior Trainer

Advanced / Senior Trainer

Pseudo-Elite

Elite Trainer

Pseudo-Champion

Champion

Master / Legendary Trainer

Dungeons & Secret Realms

Dungeons and Secret Realms are spatial anomalies that connect to isolated ecosystems filled with Pokémon, rare resources, and unique environmental phenomena. They are classified by danger level, rarity, and the strength of Pokémon residing within them. Entry often requires a license, and exploration is regulated by governing bodies.

Dungeon/Realm Classification:

D-Class / Senior Tier

Most common type of dungeon.

Accessible to the majority of trained Pokémon handlers.

Contains low to mid-level Pokémon, suitable for training and gathering basic resources.

C-Class / Advanced Tier

Often used as breeding grounds for specific Pokémon species.

Pokémon within are stronger and more territorial.

Often targeted by breeders and researchers.

B-Class / Elite Tier

May contain Elite or Pseudo-Champion level Pokémon as rulers.

Capable of influencing the surrounding region's ecosystem and energy balance.

Dangerous but valuable—often the goal of mid-to-high ranked trainers.

A-Class / Champion Tier

High probability of encountering Champion-tier Pokémon and even Tier 3 Legendaries.

Rarely, Tier 2 Legendaries may appear.

These realms often attract national-level interest and are heavily contested or protected.

S-Class / Master Tier

Extremely rare and almost mythical in nature.

Usually ruled by Legendary Pokémon, and in some cases may contain Tier 1 Legendaries.

Entry is restricted to top-tier trainers or special teams due to the immense risk. These are considered strategic assets to nations.

Ancient Ruins & Research Dungeons

Unlike the wild and vibrant environments of typical Dungeons and Secret Realms, Ancient Ruins and Research Dungeons are quiet, often eerie zones—marked by decay, silence, and lingering traces of forgotten civilizations. These locations typically emerge through stable but abnormal spatial rifts, revealing destroyed laboratories, broken facilities, or the remnants of once-thriving residences belonging to powerful figures or advanced cultures.

What sets these places apart is the absence of Pokémon life, replaced instead by collapsed structures, corrupted data, malfunctioning tech, or dormant machines. Many of these ruins date back to the earliest days of the Pokémon invasion—or even before it—and their contents are considered national strategic resources.

Because of their immense scientific and technological value, most nations place permanent research bases near them, using them as hubs for breakthrough discoveries in Pokémon studies, Pokéball technology, energy systems, and ancient history.

Access to these ruins is strictly regulated, and their classification is determined primarily by two factors:

The size of the spatial rift, and

The density and preservation of existing infrastructure within.

Ruin Classification System

🟩 C-Class Ruin

Small-scale rift with limited infrastructure—such as broken corridors, isolated labs, or partial residential quarters.

Typically used for training new researchers or testing basic exploration gear.

May contain low-level data fragments, damaged prototypes, or basic crafting materials.

Risk level is low, but structural instability is still possible.

🟦 B-Class Ruin

Medium rift, often covering multiple interconnected structures such as underground labs, containment vaults, or research silos.

Requires certified exploration teams due to the presence of automated traps, residual energy hazards, or decayed tech.

Frequently yields working technology, rare ore, or advanced study materials.

🟥 A-Class Ruin

Large-scale rift with expansive infrastructure—multi-floor research complexes, testing arenas, or data core vaults.

Sites like these are heavily secured and may require regional clearance or military escort.

Potential to uncover prototype Pokéballs, historical event records, or devices once used to interact with Legendary Pokémon.

🟪 S-Class Ruin

Massive, world-affecting rifts connecting to either entire cities, subterranean bases, or dimensional research zones.

Reserved for top-tier scientific organizations and national elites.

These ruins may contain forbidden technology, sealed Legendary-related research, or dormant constructs capable of shifting the balance of power.

Some are theorized to hold the truth behind the Pokémon invasion or lost knowledge of pre-invasion civilizations.
