Freya climbed over the wall into the small courtyard next to the Huang family's home. She looked around at the rundown place—it could only be described as completely bare.
She didn't bother searching further. It was all useless junk.
Freya went straight to the bedroom and stuffed an aphrodisiac into the mouth of a skinny, dirty old man sleeping heavily. Then she easily grabbed him by the back of his neck, climbed over the wall, and tossed him into Madam Zhou's room.
Brian had once said that this old man and Madam Zhou had an indecent relationship, and he often took advantage of her. But she kept quiet to protect her reputation.
Now, this was the perfect opportunity. Freya felt quite pleased with her cleverness. Then she quietly climbed back out of the Huang household.
"Sis, why aren't you asleep yet?" Brian opened the door and looked a little disappointed when he saw it was Biyun, though he still asked with concern.
"I can't sleep. I'm worried about Freya being out there alone, and also about the three children.
Rather than tossing and turning and disturbing Cali and the others, I thought I'd come stay up with you."
Biyun gently pushed Brian back into the room.
"Freya's very capable. There's no need to worry."
Brian said that, but he was still very anxious inside. He had to get better soon. He couldn't keep letting Freya take all the risks.
"As for the three children, they are his biological daughters. Even if he's a terrible person, he shouldn't go too far, right?"
Brian tried to comfort Biyun, but he wasn't confident himself.
"Let's hope so. I was really blind. How could I have fallen for someone worse than a beast?"
Biyun gritted her teeth, filled with hatred for her poor judgment in the past.
"Worse than a beast? Sis, that's unfair to animals. Don't insult them by comparing them to him!"
Freya pushed the door open and walked in, smiling as she spoke.
"Sister-in-law, you're back! Are you alright?"
Biyun quickly stood up, pulled Freya over and looked her up and down, circling her several times to make sure she was unharmed before finally relaxing.
Daxing and Madam Zhou weren't easy people to deal with. She was already starting to regret agreeing to let Freya go into that wolf's den alone.
"I'm fine. The kids are fine too, no need to worry.
Oh, I found this money in that old woman's room. Keep it safe.
And there's a used bicycle, but it's too eye-catching, so I hid it somewhere for now. Once things settle down, I'll go get it for you."
Actually, she had stored it in her space.
On the way back, Freya mentally checked the items she had taken from the Huang family and put into her space. It was all trash. She had originally planned to give some things to Biyun, but they were so worthless she just pulled them out and dumped them at the recycling station.
The only things she kept were some firewood and a few food supplies.
Biyun looked at the 323 yuan in her hand, feeling emotional. The Huang family had quite a bit of money, yet her children had never even owned a new piece of clothing or eaten an egg.
It was only during a holiday visit back to her mother's house that her mother, Madam Hua, secretly shared an egg among the three kids.
Still, having this money gave her a bit more confidence. Otherwise, she was afraid she wouldn't be able to feed her children.
"Thank you, sister-in-law, really. I'm not good with words. I don't even know how to thank you enough."
Biyun's eyes reddened. The look she gave Freya was full of deep gratitude.
"We're family. No need to talk about thanks. Go get some rest. We still have a tough battle tomorrow."
Brian noticed that Freya looked a bit uneasy, so he urged Biyun to go back and rest.
"Alright then, I won't bother you two lovebirds. Get some rest early!"
Biyun put the money into his pocket, wiped away the tears at the corner of his eyes, patted Freya's hand, and then turned and left.
"Phew, I'm so tired!"
Freya sat right on Brian's lap without hesitation, wrapped her arms around his waist, and rubbed her pretty face against his chest muscles with pleasure.
Brian's handsome face turned red. He lightly patted her round butt and said softly:
"Behave yourself!"
"Hehe, we've already had our wedding night, and you're still this shy?"
Freya looked like a cunning little fox. She lifted herself slightly and stared closely at Brian with a smug smile.
The tips of Brian's ears were already red from blushing. He could only smile helplessly. This bold little woman really made him feel both love and helplessness.
Seeing his expression, Freya couldn't help but giggle. Then she lovingly kissed his sexy thin lips, followed by the bridge of his high nose.
These affectionate actions made Brian's heart itch. He wanted nothing more than to hold her tightly in his arms right away.
"You naughty thing, you started it. If you're too tired tomorrow to get out of bed, don't blame me!"
Brian deliberately put on a stern face, but the gentleness in his eyes was impossible to hide.
Freya understood exactly what he meant and smiled secretly, knowing that her charm had an irresistible pull on him.
She playfully blinked and replied, "Alright then, I'll wait and see how you'll handle me tonight."
Brian couldn't hold back anymore. He pulled Freya tightly into his arms, inhaling the faint fragrance on her body—it felt like being surrounded by a sea of flowers.
His breathing grew heavier, and finally, he couldn't resist kissing her soft lips.
"Mm-mm…" Freya wanted to say something, but Brian's passion swallowed her words.
Their lips were tightly pressed together, tongues entwined, both lost in the sweetness of each other.
In that moment, they forgot about everything else in the world and focused only on one another.
Time seemed to stop flowing, and the whole world felt like it only had the two of them.
As their emotions intensified, their movements became more passionate.
Their clothes slowly came off, revealing smooth skin that glowed seductively under the moonlight.
They touched and kissed each other, every move full of love and desire.
That beautiful night, they melted into each other and spent the night in sweet harmony.
…
The morning breeze swept away the heaviness of the night and brought the hope and energy of a new day.
After eating the hearty breakfast Freya specially requested, the people of the Brian family, full of spirit and determination, got on the borrowed ox cart and headed to the Huang family.
The Huang family had left their door open all night. The morning sunlight shone on the entrance, making the couplets and plaque above the door stand out clearly.
Freya led the group to the Huang family. When they arrived, they saw a crowd had already gathered at the entrance.
