Chapter 3 - Ruin of Black Flames

In a prison cell, The Exalted One and Sabre regained their consciousness. The Exalted One looked around the empty cell. It was just him and his brother. Sabre, with an eerie smile, commented that they got caught. He was not happy about it. The Exalted One, serious, stated that there was no one in the world that was stronger than them. As he couldn't remember, he questioned who could have defeated them. Sabre wondered the same. He assumed that it was someone from that house in the forest. The Exalted One was frustrated. He punched the wall, and it cracked. The Exalted One vowed that they would return and make them pay. Sabre was amused. The two were locked up and isolated. The two were locked in a cell within a facility called the Prison Complex, hidden and deep underground. It was a massive labyrinth of a facility. It was a dark and damp place. That night, the alarms of the facility blared. A breach had occurred, and the prison was in lockdown. Many soldiers and inmates were dead. Two people escaped, and they were never found.

At the same time, a woman in a white coat was walking through the city. Her grey hair was tied in a bun. The city at night was in a panic. People were running around and screaming. News of the strangers escaping quickly spread, the government and the military were in a frenzy. The news had reported that there were two fugitives, and they were responsible for the destruction of a few cities. However, there were many mysterious events occurring. A new war had started, as well. It seemed that the world would not be the same as it used to be. A great change was coming with the discovery of what The Sacred Forest hid. The woman smiled and walked inside a government facility.

Back in The Sacred Forest, The Fisher Family slept during the night. Henry stood on the porch. He was vigilant and wary. Henry had sensed figures approaching the house. He stared at the forest and wondered about his kids' futures. Henry sighed and wondered why things had turned out like this. He clenched his fist and vowed to protect his family, no matter what. A group of cloaked and masked people appeared on top of the trees. Their cloaks and masks showcased an interesting drawing of an eye. It resembled the cloaks of The Exalted One and Sabre. One of the people questioned if it was the right place. Another person replied that it was.

One of them signaled the rest. They nodded. As the wind blew, the group leaped out of the trees. They descended to the ground and landed quietly. Henry stood on the porch and noticed their presence. He glared at the group as the group approached. The group surrounded the house. Henry walked down the stairs and stood on the grass. He questioned the group if they were with The Exalted One and Sabre. Two figures, in front, took off their masks. It was The Exalted One and Sabre. Henry clenched his teeth. The Exalted One commented on Henry's keen senses. He asked if he was waiting for them. Henry was annoyed. He asserted that the pair had a lot of nerve to come back here. The Exalted One smirked and proclaimed that he was there for the children. Henry, angered, claimed that they were not going to lay a finger on his kids. Sabre smirked. He commented that it would be more fun if he had a fight.

The Exalted One declared that Henry was a fool. He stated that no matter how hard he tried, the children were destined for a different future. The Exalted One concluded that Henry would be defeated and would die there. Sabre was delighted. He laughed. Suddenly, the group lunged at Henry. Henry, unfazed, swiftly dodged and deflected their attacks. Henry, agile and fast, launched his counterattack. He kicked one of the men's face and punched another in the gut. The man grunted and fell. The rest were shocked. One of them, angered, charged. Henry, unfazed, ducked and tripped him. As he fell, Henry jumped and punched the back of his head. In the next moment, Henry, mid-air, dodged an incoming slash. He kicked the assailant away. At the same time, he elbowed the next guy and punched another. As he landed, the assailant got back up. Another person threw a punch at him, but he grabbed his arm and elbowed him. Then, he kicked his face and punched the next assailant. The group was stunned.

Henry, serious, demanded to know what they were. He concluded that they were not human. Sabre and The Exalted One watched the fight from afar. A cloaked figure asserted that Henry was no normal human, either. He continued that they would not hold back, now. As the group rushed towards him, Henry, unfazed, prepared himself. The cloaked figure asserted that the Fisher Family were a threat. Henry was taken aback. Suddenly, the cloaked figure disappeared. The cloaked figure appeared in front of Henry. He threw a punch at him. Henry dodged and blocked the incoming punches. The cloaked figure was able to dodge Henry's punches. The cloaked figure commented that his senses and reflexes were impressive. He concluded that Henry's martial arts was nothing to sneeze at.

While Henry was busy fighting the group, the siblings woke up. The brothers were alarmed and wondered what was happening. Adelia, worried, advised the trio to stay put. They were concerned about the ruckus. As they walked towards the window, the cloaked figure's fist connected with Henry's gut. Henry, coughing, was sent flying. He landed near the porch. Henry, in pain, grunted. The Exalted One smiled and questioned if he was done. Sabre was entertained.

Henry slowly stood up. He was panting. He noticed members of the group started to chant around the house. They had their hands together and were glowing. Henry, worried, questioned what they were doing. He demanded the group to leave them alone. Henry stated that they just wanted to live peacefully. Sabre mocked that he was pathetic. The cloaked figure revealed that their goal was to eliminate any threats and obstacles in the way of their plans. Henry gritted his teeth. He claimed that they had no idea who they were messing with. Suddenly, Henry started to shine. He, with his arms raised, groaned. Energy surrounded his body. In the next moment, the energy expanded into a ball and radiated an enormous light. The cloaked figures were alarmed. Henry yelled and unleashed a powerful blast of energy. A huge explosion occurred and knocked everyone away.

After the dust settled, the area around the house was scorched and destroyed. The house was slightly damaged. The Exalted One, Sabre, and the cloaked group were blown back. They were lying on the ground, motionless. Henry was panting and standing. The brothers were shocked and in disbelief. Stark commented that he could not believe that Henry had this much power. Matteo exclaimed that he was amazing. Adelia wondered if her husband was alright. She looked out of the window.

Suddenly, the cloaked figures stood back up. The group was unfazed and was unharmed. The Exalted One sat up, annoyed. Henry was shocked. The Exalted One, smiling, claimed that Henry was impressive. The Exalted One elaborated that his group were special, too. They were not normal. Henry clenched his fists and declared that he would protect his family, no matter what. A cloaked figure stated that he was persistent.

In the next moment, the cloaked figures charged at Henry. As the brothers watched from the window, Henry, determined, defended himself. A cloaked figure threw a punch. Henry caught his hand. As the cloaked figure was surprised, Henry threw him onto the ground. Another cloaked figure was behind Henry. His body sounded metallic, and Henry noticed his black metallic hand. A contraption opened on his arm, revealing a spinning blade. The metallic cloaked figure swung it at Henry. Henry slapped his arm and diverted his attack. Henry swiftly elbowed the cloaked figure's face.

A slimmer cloaked figure rushed towards him. She was wielding a sword. The sword's blade was emitting an aura of energy. She attempted to stab him, but Henry grabbed the sword. As the cloaked figure was taken aback, Henry pulled the sword away. In the next moment, the cloaked figure flipped and kneed Henry in the chin. Henry, staggered, let go of the sword. As he stepped back, the cloaked figure was holding the sword and slashed at him. The sword left a cut across his chest. Henry was injured and groaned. He held his wound. On her next attempt to take his life, he was able to kick the sword out of her hands. He then grabbed her leg and threw her away. A barrier surrounded her as she crashed into a tree. Henry looked at her and was perplexed.

Meanwhile, the metallic cloaked figure from before had his body open up. A contraption emerged. A mechanical snake jumped out. The mechanical snake charged at him. Henry was surprised. He evaded the snake's attempt to bite him. Henry grabbed it and threw it away. The snake turned around. As it launched at him, Henry, using his martial arts, punched through the snake's head. It broke apart. Another cloaked figure lunged at him from the air. This cloaked figure held a stick. The stick extended into a staff. Henry noticed the cloaked figure swinging the staff towards him. He attempted to dodge the attacks, but the cloaked figure was fast and relentless. He was hit on the legs and the arms. He staggered and struggled to stand. The cloaked figure was not finished. He jumped and twirled the staff. Henry was struck in the head and sent flying.

Suddenly, another cloaked figure prepared a ball of pressured water that was infused with energy. He tossed the ball. The ball exploded upon contact with Henry. Henry screamed. However, they were not done, yet. The female cloaked figure created a big fireball and threw it at him. At the same time, the metallic cloaked figure opened contraptions on its shoulders and fired missiles. The missiles were also infused with energy. They exploded. The explosion knocked the brothers back. They were blown into the wall and the floor. As smoke filled the room, Adelia called for them. She rushed to help them. She saw the boys were alive. However, the wall and the floor were destroyed. As she held her kids close, she glanced outside and wondered about her husband.

Henry, injured and bloodied, laid on the ground. The Exalted One was disappointed. Sabre chuckled and suggested that they should hold off on killing the rest of the family. He wanted to play with them. Henry, angry, sat up. He was determined to protect his family. Blood flowed down his forehead. His clothes were tattered. He was barely alive. The Exalted One remarked that Henry was a stubborn old fool. The cloaked figures surrounded Henry. He was on the verge of death. The cloaked figures were ready to finish him off. Henry clenched his fists and looked around in a frenzy. He was losing his strength. The group was not letting up. Suddenly, he noticed the three brothers watching him from the destroyed room. Hafen, Matteo, and Stark were worried. Their father was in trouble.

Stark muttered that Henry was losing. Matteo, concerned, wondered if they should help him. Hafen, annoyed, refused to believe that their dad was going to lose. The trio could not accept the reality. They knew that their father was not weak. He was the strongest man that they knew. They were certain that he would win. Even so, they had to help. The brothers jumped out the window. They landed on the grass. Adelia and Ana were behind them. Adelia was concerned for their safety. She begged her sons not to go. The brothers sprinted towards their dad. Stark yelled at them to stay away from their dad. However, more cloaked figures appeared before them. A cloaked figure, in the back, ordered them to dispose of the pests.

Stark, infuriated, ordered the group to move out of his way, and a battle ensued. Stark threw a punch at one of the cloaked figures. The cloaked figure, however, grabbed his fist and retaliated with a kick. As Stark was knocked down, the cloaked figure uprooted a tree nearby. The cloaked figure threw the tree at him. Stark was surprised and was slammed into the ground. Hafen lunged towards the cloaked figure and attacked. As the cloaked figure was sent rolling on the ground, another cloaked figure came and defended him. He wielded a sword. He slashed at Hafen. Hafen was able to dodge. Hafen threw a punch, but the cloaked figure deflected. He kicked Hafen and sent him rolling on the ground. Matteo ran past the fight. The cloaked figure, angered, rushed towards him. The cloaked figure swung his sword and left a cut on Matteo's arm. Matteo gasped and fell.

The cloaked figure aimed his sword towards him. However, Matteo rolled away and dodged the attack. Matteo kicked him in the head and staggered him. Another cloaked figure flew towards Matteo. He resembled a bird. Matteo was surprised. The cloaked figure had wings on his backs. His claws grasped Matteo's arms, and he flew into the air. Matteo was startled and wondered what was going on. He was in a panic. As he struggled, the cloaked figure threw him towards the ground. Matteo fell and landed on his head. Hafen yelled at them. He ran towards his brother and asked if he was alright. Just then, the cloaked flying figure swung his wings. He unleashed slashes of wind that were infused with energy. Matteo and Hafen were sent flying. Stark, with the tree on top of him, struggled to push the giant tree off.

Henry watched as they fought the cloaked figures. He reminisced of the last time he felt like this. A few days prior, he was with his wife in their bedroom, crying on her shoulders. Henry cried that eventually, he won't be able to keep his kids safe. He continued that they would leave, and that the outside world would destroy them. Henry looked into Adelia's eyes and expressed that he was a failure of a father. Adelia pushed him off her shoulders and looked back at him in the eyes. Adelia urged Henry to not say that. She asserted that their kids would not have had a dad if it wasn't for him. She continued that he gave them a dad. Adelia smiled and expressed that to their kids, Henry was someone to look up to and get guidance from. She remarked that he had done well. Henry muttered that they would not be ready for the outside world. Adelia reassured him that it would be fine. She continued that it may not be the perfect path for them to tread on, but that the obstacles they may encounter will only make them grow more than before. That moment felt surreal to the Henry as if the moment for the kids to explore the outside world was looming closer than ever before. He, for once, felt happy at the thought. He wanted to be there when they were all grown up and living out their desires. Henry, full of hope, was ready to see their future. However, his current situation was grim. He, determined, was ready to protect his family and fulfill his role as their dad. Henry was not going to die, yet.

Henry closed his fist and stood tall. He roared. A strong wind blew and made the group of cloaked figures step back. As he glared at the group, the group was astonished. The Exalted One laughed. He questioned why Henry was so persistent. Henry, determined, stood up and asserted that his family meant everything to him. Sabre smirked and stated that his family was doomed. Henry gritted his teeth. He rushed towards him. Sabre smiled and prepared his energy. In the next moment, the two men clashed. The Exalted One commended that he may be the strongest human. The cloaked figure, wielding a staff, commented that Henry resembled a king of a conquered kingdom, Henry's Kingdom. The Exalted One chuckled that it may be him and wondered why Henry had hidden himself from the world. Henry stated that his purpose in battle was not to kill but to protect. The Exalted One revealed that their true goal was to create a utopia. Not genocide. He commented that their goal was not something that a mere human could comprehend.

Just then, a powerful wave of energy blew Sabre away. The huge wave of energy expanded. The cloaked figures were taken by surprise. Henry was panting. His energy was depleted, but he had one last trick up his sleeve. He declared that he was going to protect his family if it was the last thing he did. He was ready to die for that. As the cloaked figures were confused, Henry closed his eyes and concentrated. He used a secret technique, which was a transformation that he had learned and mastered a long time ago. A technique that could only be taught and learned by those who have experienced death. A technique that allows the user to unleash immense power. Sabre was pushed back and angered. On the other hand, The Exalted One was intrigued. He smiled and asserted that Henry had been hiding his true power. A forgotten technique from long ago. The energy from Henry expanded and covered the surrounding area. As the energy grew bigger and brighter, the group was alarmed. The Exalted One glanced and signaled at the female cloaked figure, and he ordered the group to retreat. Sabre was surprised. The cloaked figures started to run. Suddenly, an intense energy hit everyone. A huge explosion occurred. Sabre took the explosion upfront. The explosion was massive, and a large ball of energy was visible from a distance. A strong gale occurred, and a large crater was left. Everything in the crater was gone.

After a while, the dust settled. The sky was filled with stars. A lone figure was standing. It was Henry. He was still breathing. He was severely wounded. His eyes faintly glowed. Henry, determined, walked towards the direction of his house. He muttered to himself that he had to get to his family. Henry was on the brink of death, and he could not fight anymore. Henry, tired and limping, had no choice but to walk. As Henry approached his house, he looked around and noticed the bodies on the ground. They were unconscious and not moving. There was a huge hole at the side of the house. A large part of the wall was gone. The brothers looked at him. Adelia was looking out the window. She noticed him and called out his name. Henry was relieved. He fell to his knees and smiled.

Stark ran towards his Henry. The other two brothers followed. Henry was on the ground, injured and unconscious. The trio looked at their Henry. They were confused and worried. The trio wondered if he was dead. Henry opened his eyes and stared at the sky. Henry whispered for the trio not to worry. He revealed that it was over. Henry stated that they were not in danger anymore. In the sky, he noticed that there was a wisp of blue fire floating in the air. It was a unique flame. The blue wisp flew away.

Henry looked at his sons and asked if they were okay. A voice muttered that it was an illusion by the female cloaked figure. Suddenly, the world around him began to change. It was as if everything was fading. He saw his son's faces and his wife. The three brothers and his wife looked at him, worried. In an instant, a familiar darkness surrounded him. He heard voices in the background. He looked around and found himself in a strange room. Henry was standing on a platform. The platform was floating in an endless void. There was a woman sitting in front of him. She was wearing a robe, and her hair was in a ponytail. She was staring at him with a solemn look. Henry wondered who she was. He asked what was going on. Henry noticed a black orb floating near her. The orb was transparent, and it was emitting light. It seemed to have some sort of a seal on it. It had the symbol of an eye. The woman explained that she was a higher power that oversaw the sacred forest. She continued that the forest was the most sacred and purest place on the planet. There was an unforeseen event in the forest. She could not allow the forest to be in danger. Henry questioned her about the forest and why it was important. The woman elaborated that the forest was the birthplace of many of the strongest powers in the universe. Henry was surprised. She explained that the forest was a place where a unique life-form was born. The woman concluded that the life-form was known as the Ana. Henry was confused. He questioned why he was hearing that name. Henry continued that his daughter was named Ana. She was just a baby. The woman stared at him for a while. She looked down and asserted that time flowed differently for her. The woman muttered that he would forget about his baby. She revealed that she would erase his memories. Henry was taken aback.

The woman elaborated that the people and creatures within the forest would not remember the events regarding her. She continued that it was for their own good. Henry inquired if his family would also lose their memories with Ana. She confirmed that his family would not remember anything about her, either. However, they would retain their other memories. The woman stood up and approached him. She placed her hands on his forehead. The woman assured and revealed that the forest and the world would have its peaceful days because of his adopted sons. Henry, concerned, questioned her about the future. He requested her to give his family a safe future. He begged her to do so. The woman remained silent. She stared at him and apologized. In an instant, the woman vanished. Henry, confused, wondered what was going on. In the next moment, a large ball of energy engulfed the platform. He yelled and was blinded by a bright light.

When the light subsided, Henry found himself standing on the grass. Henry was in shock. He looked around and noticed his family's home. It was still in shambles. Henry had snapped back into reality. In the background, the cloaked figures were fighting the brothers. A cloaked figure with a sword was swinging his sword at Stark. Hafen, beside Stark, was thrown away. Matteo, in the back, was knocked into a tree. Adelia, inside the house, was watching her kids. A voice called out for the brothers. Henry turned around and saw Sabre. His clothes were burnt, and his body and face were bruised. Sabre was angry and yelled that he would kill them. On the other side, The Exalted One stood with a sword. They charged at the cornered brothers. Henry limped towards his sons. He was injured and had lost too much blood. However, he was not going to give up. He was prepared to die for his sons. Matteo, scared, yelled for his parents. Henry, determined, reached his sons and pushed them away with a small wave of energy. Sabre punched him through the stomach. Henry coughed up blood and staggered. He took the blow. Behind him, Adelia had jumped in front of The Exalted One and was stabbed in the gut. She was impaled. Her sons screamed and watched in horror. They yelled for their parents.

Adelia fell and was on her knees. She was bleeding. The Exalted One stepped back. He smiled and ordered the others to stand down. Sabre pulled his arm out of Henry and let him fall. Sabre backed away and asked if that hurt. He scoffed that it was what he deserved after hitting him with his last attack. The backs of Adelia and Henry leaned against each other. As Henry sat on the ground, he coughed. His wounds were grave, and his blood was flowing down his body. Henry held his stomach. He looked at his wife and realized what she had done. Adelia, smiling, looked back at him. The couple held each other's hands. Stark, Hafen, and Matteo rushed to their aid. They were in tears. Adelia stared at them and smiled. She reminisced about the good times that she had with her family. Like how she used to make her sons food, and their daily routine of helping her in the garden. Like how Henry would train their sons, and she would watch. It reminded her of when Henry was a young man with his master. Adelia remembered how the brothers would argue, and then, they would play around seconds later. She recalled how they talked to and took care of Ana. Ana? She wondered who she was. Still, she felt like she met a Ana. Her sons were not her blood, but she raised them as if they were.

The brothers cried as Henry and Adelia struggled to turn towards them. The parents hugged the trio. Adelia kissed their foreheads. She looked at them and stated that they were her sons even though they were not her biological children. Adelia apologized that it was probably the end for her. She muttered that she was sorry. Adelia asked if they were alright. The trio were crying, and Matteo bawled that she and Henry were the ones who were severely hurt. Stark was in disbelief and could not accept their current situation. Adelia reassured them that it was fine. Henry urged them to survive. He continued that even though their lives were cut short tonight, they must keep going and see the outside world. Henry expressed that he was proud of them and would always be watching over them. Adelia muttered that she knew that they would go out into the outside world. However, she hoped that they would be careful. Adelia also hoped that they would not get into much trouble. Adelia had no regrets. She was happy to be with her family. Her husband and sons were her whole world. Tears flowed down her cheeks. She was at peace and content with her life. Henry looked at his wife. He smiled and cried. Henry wondered what kind of people his sons would become. As they grew up, he wanted to be there to see them. He wanted to continue living and see their future. At the same time, he knew that in the future, his sons would live peacefully and have a wonderful life. He could not have been more grateful to have had them as his kids. Henry was also ready to move on. He was satisfied with his life. Henry remarked that it was a beautiful night. Henry and Adelia used their last ounce of energy to look at their sons. Henry, his face bloodied and in pain, stated that it was up to their sons now. Adelia smiled and reassured them that they would do well and not worry too much. The trio were confused and wondered what their parents were talking about. Adelia and Henry were slowly losing consciousness. They were struggling to keep their eyes open. They smiled weakly and uttered their final words, "I love you all." The couple slowly closed their eyes. They leaned their heads against each other. An image of the future of their kids appeared before them. Adelia and Henry smiled.

In an instant, the parents were lifeless. Their bodies were motionless. The brothers were crying and screaming. The trio were crying. Stark and Hafen, devastated, were shocked and speechless. Matteo was devastated. Matteo muttered for their parents to wake up. The trio could not believe their parents were gone. They did not want to believe it. They cried for their parents. Sabre laughed. He commented that the Fisher Family was nothing, now. The Exalted One asserted that the brothers were predestined to become pawns for their goals.

Meanwhile, the cloaked figures were standing by the side. The Exalted One asked his group if the ritual was ready. One of the cloaked figures surrounding the house confirmed that it was ready. The Exalted One, satisfied, ordered them to start the ritual. Suddenly, a black flame emerged in the house. It was a small black flame. The brothers were surprised and noticed it. Suddenly, the flame grew bigger and expanded. The brothers and the cloaked figures were astonished. The flame was engulfing the house. Sabre grabbed the bodies of Adelia and Henry. The trio tried to stop him. Sabre laughed and pushed them away with a wave of energy. He threw the bodies into the black flames. The brothers watched as the black flames engulfed their parents' corpses. Suddenly, the flames grew bigger and expanded. Stark, Hafen, and Matteo were shocked. They rushed to their home. As the black flames were expanding, the house started to disintegrate. It was disappearing. The brothers ran into the burning house to retrieve the bodies of Adelia and Henry. A faint light emitted from the brothers. The trio, engulfed by the smoke, screamed and fell unconscious. They could not reach the bodies.

As the moon shined, Pepe woke up nearby. He woke up due to the smell of something burning. He immediately thought about food. However, he turned around and saw the house burning. It was getting covered in black flames. Cloaked figures stood outside chanting something. He recognized the coats. It was the same as the pair from the day prior. The cloaked figures were not the problem. As he watched the fire, he was shocked to see the brothers in there. His eyes widened. His friends were still in there, asleep. He stood up. He rushed towards the house. The Exalted One and Sabre saw him. The Exalted One yelled at him to not interfere. From the shadows, four cloaked figures came out and surrounded Pepe. One of them, the female cloaked figure, charged at Pepe and remarked that he was not going any further. Pepe jumped over her and grabbed her coat's hood. He used the female cloaked figure as a pedestal to turn in mid-air and kicked another charging cloaked figure in the face. The charging cloaked figure rolled on the ground. The female cloaked figure demanded him to let go. While in the air, another cloaked figure rushed at Pepe. Pepe stomped on his head while pulling on the hood of the female cloaked figure. The stomped cloaked figure hit the ground head-first. Pepe threw the female cloaked figure to the last two cloaked figures. They exclaimed as they fell to the ground. Pepe jumped through the window into the burning house. The Exalted One stated they should go. He concluded that there was no escape for them from the flames of their god.

Pepe entered the house through the trio's bedroom window. Pepe landed in the house. He was surrounded by fire. It was getting difficult to breathe. He was in a panic. He saw a burning corpse at the door. The fire reached the doorway, but it was spreading rapidly. Pepe grunted and as the smoke covered the ceiling. He found the brothers. They were unconscious. Strangely, they were not burning. Pepe grabbed Hafen and threw him outside the window. Pepe started to inhale the smoke. He coughed. He threw Stark through the window. Pepe's skin burned. He grabbed Matteo. He struggled to lift him up and exclaimed that he was heavy. He used almost all of his strength and threw him outside. Stark exclaimed to Matteo to watch it. Pepe jumped out before the fire could touch him.

Pepe saw the three of them awake as he landed on the ground. Matteo worryingly asked if Pepe was alright. Pepe gasped for air and questioned if he looked like he was fine. He stammered, that of course not, and that the smoke itself burned him. They, concerned and confused, stared towards the burning house. Hafen questioned why this was happening. Pepe reminded that the two strangers did this. Stark asked about his parents. Pepe solemnly replied that they were burnt to a crisp. They were too far gone to save. The brothers started to tear up. Stark wiped his tears. Furthermore, he stood up and decided that he would go back inside. Pepe asked if he was ridiculous. He elaborated that he just risked his life for them. Pepe asserted that he would not be able to save him a second time. Stark gritted his teeth and commented he would be back with Adelia and Henry. Matteo cried that he understood how Stark felt, but it was too dangerous. Stark glanced at the kids. A tear fell down his cheek as he muttered that they were supposed to go to the outside world, together. Hafen remarked that the whole house was covered in fire, now. It was a death wish. Stark examined Pepe. Pepe had serious burns all over his body. His clothes almost burnt off. Stark could see the burns on his insides, as well. Stark sat on the ground and looked at the starry sky. He cried and cursed at the world. The kids cried and watched their house crumble and disintegrate into nothingness. They had nowhere to go, now. They slowly fell asleep.
