Brielle was about to sleep when her sister Lupa dragged her from the bed to the floor with her blankets .
What was her problem this time,as far as she knew she didn't do anything to upset her
"Lupa what's wrong ,"I asked already scared
"You mate snatcher,"she spat
"l didn't do anything to your mate,"l tried to reason
"Vera said she saw you trying to seduce him with your ugly smile ,"he spat venomously
"l was just thanking him for helping me carry the wood,"l tried to explain
"that's not what she saw ,"she said unsurely .I'm sure a part of her knows I'm telling the truth
Father came in at that very moment with mother just behind his tail
Girls it's the middle of the night ,what are bickering about
"Brielle dried to seduce Philip today, "she lied
"what ,"mother exclaimed and hit me with a slap
"l swear l didn't do anything like that mother ,Vera just assumed,"l tried to beg
"So you're saying both of my daughters are lying ,"she asked with her brows up
"No that's not what I'm saying ,"l plead
"Then what ?,You know what l don't want to hear it ,leave this house and come back after you've learned manners "she said shocking me
"You can't mean that ,"l plead
"l mean it ,now leave my house l don't want to see you ever again,"she shouted
"mom,"l tried to beg
"leave when l wake up in the morning l don't want to see you here "she said and then left
Father didn't say a word all this time ,it's like he was on mute
"Father please let me stay"l begged kneeling Infront of him
He didn't say a word as always .It's like he has been fed with a love potion.He never opposes or says his wife says so l wasn't surprised but it did not mean that it didn't kill me inside .
He just left me on the floor crying.
"Are you happy now "l said to Brielle
She just clicked her tongue and left .Then and there l decided to leave ,there was nothing for me here and l don't think anyone will notice I'm gone .l decided to take nothing from that house and left only with the clothes l had on .l wanted no memories of it
l just walked without caring where I'm going .The sun was about to come out and l was so tired from all the walking so l decided to sit down .I stumbled on a stone and fell down .One of my toes was bleeding so l ripped the hem of my dress to cover it up when l felt people around me
l looked up only to find the kings guards were surrounding me .My heart started beating like a dream and l felt beads of sweat on my forehead.l wanted to get up and run but it will be of no use so l just sat there
l looked at the guard on my right side and saw him pointing his sword at me and l lost consciousness
