"Forced Vows"
Juliana's rebellion sparks physical confrontation...
I slammed my hands into his chest, trying to push him away in revulsion:
"Get away from me!"
Don Victor's eyes flashed with surprise, then amusement. He grasped my wrists, his grip like ice-cold steel:
"You have spirit. I like that."
He pulled me closer, our faces inches apart. I struggled wildly, but he held tight.
Suddenly, Don Marco intervened:
"Victor, enough. She's agreed to nothing yet."
Don Victor released me slowly, his breath whispering against my skin:
"Not yet."
I stumbled back, gasping for air. Don Marco continued:
"Juliana, you have 24 hours to consider our... proposal. After that, choices disappear."
A cold smile spread across Don Victor's face as he added:
"And Sophia's time runs out."
I stood tall, eyes locked on Don Victor's, and spat out my refusal:
"You'll never own me. Hurt Sophia, and I'll make sure your family's empire burns to ashes. I refuse your proposal."
The room fell silent. Don Marco's face turned purple with rage. Don Victor's expression transformed into glacial fury.
Suddenly, he snapped his fingers. The door burst open, and two men dragged in Sophia – her eyes blackened, lip swollen.
My world shattered.
Don Victor's low voice cut through my horror:
"She's had... a preview of disobedience. Continue refusing, and she'll lose more than just looks."
I felt my legs collapse beneath me, mind reeling with despair...
