Chapter 6 - chapter :-6 Dharmesh's Exam and the Jungle Challenge

Now moving ahead...

After hearing Dharmesh, Nikita says nothing and just looks ahead. Soon, they receive their exam papers, and everyone starts working on them.

When Dharmesh looks at the exam, a unique joy appears on his face—he feels like he knows everything. Without wasting even a second, he starts writing. He's writing very fast. When Rocky looks at Dharmesh, he's shocked by his speed. It seemed like he wasn't even lifting his pen.

"He must have a cheat sheet or Nikita must be showing him something," Rocky thinks.

Then Rocky complains to the teacher that Dharmesh is cheating.

The teacher walks over to Dharmesh and starts inspecting to see if he has any cheat material, but finds nothing. Still, the teacher asks Nikita to sit away from Dharmesh. This makes Rocky visibly happy—he believes Dharmesh won't be able to top the class now. But Dharmesh doesn't care whether Nikita is sitting beside him or not.

The teacher stands behind Dharmesh, watching what he's doing. Even the teacher is stunned for a moment—Dharmesh is solving the paper incredibly quickly.

Dharmesh finishes his entire paper within an hour and sits back calmly. Rocky, seeing Dharmesh sitting idle, assumes that he doesn't know anything more and has given up.

The same thing happens the next day. Dharmesh finishes early again, and all exams are soon over. Dharmesh hopes for good marks.

Results were to be announced a few days later, and everyone was eagerly waiting. On the result day, everyone rushes to see Dharmesh and Rocky's results.

Rocky receives his paper first. His marks are very low; he barely passed.

"Looks like you lost," one guy says.

"No matter what marks I got, what matters is Dharmesh's score. For him to win the bet, he needs to get the highest marks—which is impossible," Rocky replies.

Then Nikita's result is announced—she scored an excellent **96%**, the highest in class so far.

"See? Dharmesh is done for. He can't score higher than this," Rocky says, laughing.

Then the teacher calls Dharmesh and hands him his paper.

One student asks, "Sir, how much did he score?"

The teacher, looking surprised, says, "Dharmesh has the highest marks. He scored **99%**."

Everyone is left stunned—no one could believe Dharmesh had scored so high.

Dharmesh silently thanks his system, because it's what made him this intelligent.

"This can't be true. He must have cheated," Rocky says.

"No, Dharmesh didn't cheat. I saw him myself solving the entire paper on his own," the teacher tells everyone.

Nikita wasn't sad about coming second. She was happy that Dharmesh had won the bet.

Everyone congratulates Dharmesh and reminds Rocky to fulfill the bet. Rocky wanted to leave the room, but all he could do was glare at Dharmesh in anger.

Then the teacher brings out some prizes and gives one to each of the top three. Dharmesh receives the biggest prize. He's extremely happy—it's the first time he's achieved something so big. He eagerly wants to go home to tell his mom that he came first in class.

After the teacher leaves, Dharmesh goes to Rocky and says with a smile, "So Rocky, shall we go to the park now? You have a bet to fulfill."

Everyone laughs at Rocky. He's furious but helpless—he made the bet himself. If he refused, people would laugh even more.

"Fine. Come to the park in the evening. I'll fulfill the bet," Rocky says and walks off.

Then Dharmesh chats with Nikita for a while and goes home. He shows his result to his mom as soon as he arrives.

His parents couldn't believe it. His father even called the school to confirm whether the marks were real or altered. When the teacher himself confirmed Dharmesh scored 99%, they had to believe it.

Dharmesh rests in his room, then leaves for the park in the evening where he makes Rocky fulfill the bet and returns home happily.

"I don't have anything to do now. I'll go to Grandpa's house and try to find more about that cave," Dharmesh thinks and heads to his grandfather's place.

After reaching, Dharmesh enters the cave.

As soon as he steps in, he receives a challenge from the system, which surprises him:

**"Exit this cave and gather information. The reward will be given upon completion of the challenge."**

"I should go outside and see what I can find," Dharmesh thinks and exits the cave.

Outside, he doesn't see anything unusual or dangerous. So he decides to move further into the forest.

After walking for some time, when he decides to return, he realizes he is lost. He doesn't know where the cave is now. So he can't go home.

While thinking this, he hears heavy footsteps approaching. He hides behind a tree and peeks to see what it is.

To his shock, it's a **beast the size of an elephant**, looking extremely dangerous.

Standing in front of it is **another beast**, resembling a bear.

The elephant-like beast charges at the bear, but the bear is fast and dodges the attack.

Dharmesh watches as he's sure the bear won't survive—the elephant beast looks much bigger and stronger.

But the bear suddenly attacks, and the elephant can't even defend itself—it dies on the spot.

Dharmesh is frozen watching all this, and suddenly the bear notices him and starts coming his way.

"What should I do now? It's coming toward me!" Dharmesh thinks and decides to run.

But the bear is fast and quickly catches up. Just as it's about to reach him—**an unknown arrow** wounds the bear.

The bear backs off but doesn't flee.

Dharmesh turns to see—**it's the same girl who saved him last time.** Somehow, she had appeared again.

The bear ignores Dharmesh and approaches the girl. She doesn't seem scared. She shoots arrows at it, but they don't seem to harm the bear at all—its body seems like metal.

Then the girl retreats and rides her horse toward Dharmesh.

Seeing her approach, Dharmesh is shocked, especially with the bear running behind her.

Before he can react, the girl reaches him, stops, and says,

**"Quick! Get on, or the bear will kill you,"** holding her hand out to him.

Without hesitation, Dharmesh grabs her hand and gets on the horse.

She rides off at full speed, trying to escape the beast.

The bear is still chasing them, and Dharmesh, sitting behind, grabs her waist tightly in fear.

"Don't hold me so tight, or it won't be good for you," the girl warns.

Hearing her, Dharmesh loosens his grip slightly but doesn't let go—he knows if he falls, the bear will kill him.

Soon, the bear is left far behind, and Dharmesh breathes a sigh of relief. He's safe.

Now, he wants to learn as much as he can from this girl about this strange place.
