Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Realm of Truth – The Forgotten Throne

[Third Realm – The Realm of Truth]

The silver ocean of memory faded.

The five heroes—Akarshan, Shivam, Anuj, Shiv, and Monish—stood now at the gates of a towering city made of glass, stars, and silence. It stood suspended in the void between dimensions. Time did not flow here. Light bent around the truth.

Above its entrance, glowing letters appeared:

"Only those who accept the Truth shall enter. All others shall be undone."

Goddess Varnika's voice echoed in their minds.

> "This place was once the seat of the Supreme Council—the gods who came before. Ash—Asuryan—was the last, and perhaps… the only one to escape what this realm revealed."

The gates opened.

And the moment they stepped through, the world split.

Each hero was pulled into a personal vision—showing them the raw, unfiltered truth of Ash… and themselves.

---

[Akarshan's Truth]

He saw Ash on a mountain, watching humans kill one another in war.

Akarshan expected him to stop it.

Instead, Ash turned and walked away.

> "Why...?" Akarshan whispered.

A figure behind him—a Primordial Supreme Being, older than time—answered.

> "Because it was not the first time. Nor the hundredth. Nor the thousandth. He watched civilizations rise, burn, rebuild… and repeat. Each time, he gave a piece of himself. And each time, they used it for destruction."

Akarshan fell to his knees.

> "So… he gave up?"

The being shook its head.

> "No. He chose to restart. He chose to erase himself—to be reborn in the human cycle without power, without memory. One final attempt to see if humanity could save him."

---

[Shiv's Truth]

He stood in a hall of mirrors, each reflecting a different version of Ash.

One where Ash was a tyrant.

One where he was a martyr.

One where he was a father.

And one… where he was utterly alone.

> "There is no single truth," whispered the wind. "Only shards of who he was… and what the world made him."

---

[All Five Return]

They regrouped in the center of the city, beneath a throne of broken light.

Floating above it—Ash's soul fragment, now nearly whole.

But his eyes were conflicted.

> "Why did you come?"

Akarshan stepped forward. "To remind you… of yourself."

> "Then let me ask you something," Ash's soul said, voice now cracking with pain.

> "If you knew you could save the world by destroying it once—would you?"

They hesitated.

> "Because I did. And I was alone."

The truth hit them like thunder.

Ash hadn't ordered destruction out of cruelty.

He did it out of hopelessness.

He vanished once again—pulled back into the real Ash's divine body.

The third seal shattered.

In the skies above the mortal realm—

Stars began falling.

---

[Ash – Throne of Silence]

His body trembled.

> "They know now. The truth. They'll try to stop me."

A pause.

> "Good. Let them try."

But behind those cold words—

A tear rolled down his cheek.
