My eyes fluttered open at the sound of my alarm clock, set at 10 p.m. after last night's outing, yet I felt worn out.

Instinctively, my gaze fell on my status, causing me to groan and roll onto my belly, before pulling the sheets over my head. My eyes were shut tight, but I could still see the final moments of my fight with Dayvon last night. The power of the Black Sigil made him look invincible. This made me feel like I would still lose to him even if I used all my abilities—especially since he didn't reveal the powers of all seven sins, which the system claimed he had.
